House holiday rentals in Bayou Teche

The house was perfect for our needs. The house was clean, the yard was cut and the pool was great for relaxing and cooling off. The only negative was the dishwasher was not working. Other than that it was an A+ house and we would gladly stay the next time we are traveling to LSU.

House is very clean and much larger than the pictures shown. We would defianly stay here again.

Amazing listing in Baton Rouge. My family and I came in town for a graduation and this home was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed everything about the home. Plenty of space for a large family to move around effortlessly! We will definitely be staying here again for future trips to the area. Highly recommend!

Great space for our family trip. We were in Lafayette to visit family and the house was perfectly size for our family to stay (4 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby). Everyone had plenty of space and that was in the main house. Overall it was a great value and perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip.

Our party of 8 were extremely comfortable. The beds were so comfy. The house had been totally renovated and was welll appointed. The weather was stifling. But the AC was really cold and felt so good when you walked in. The pool was a good size and the neighborhood was a nice residential area. We felt extremely safe. I was disappointed in the quality of their knives (very dull). The only downside. We did have an occasion to communicate with our hosts. They were always quick to respond. We had a great time. From the first time I booked I felt like I was choosing the right location to stay. Everything was smooth and easy. Her response time is immaculate especially that’s important for someone who constantly travels and books last minute. Everything was clean and very up to date. The photos did not justice. Every amenity you will need was available inside the home. I have no complaints and definitely am looking forward to booking in the near future.

Nice Home in a very quiet neighborhood. Very close to just about everything you'd want to do in the area. The host is also very friendly and responsive if you need anything. Will return in the near future.

This place is so cute. All the beds were comfy. Very peaceful. The chickens were super adorable but they are loud however the host does provide earplugs. We enjoyed feeding them.

Beautiful home with a big front porch and magnificent magnolia tree. Good location you can walk downtown from here.. kitchen has everything you can think of but you might have to hunt for some stuff.

This is my absolute favorite rental I’ve ever stayed at. It is exceptionally luxurious with high-end bedding and furnishings, while also being child friendly. My 2 1/2 year old grandson played outside in the fenced-in backyard while we relaxed in the screened-in back porch. The extra touches really put this rental above any others—personal welcome note, snacks, tote bag, water bottles, etc. The bathrooms had every item you could need, even baby shampoo. I truly felt I was staying at a friend’s home. I can’t think of one single thing that could be improved on. I will stay here again when I am in the area.

My girlfriends and I get together periodically!! We all met in Lafayette at 17 years old, freshmen at U of L (USL) at the time!! We decided to spend our time enjoying the Festival International in Lafayette!! I found this wonderful AirBNB for our stay!! This location was quiet and peaceful, and near Breaux Bridge, which is full of antique shops and restaurants, not to mention various festivals throughout the year. We stayed there for Lafayette's Festival International de Louisiane and found that the ride to Lafayette was short. The place itself was immaculate and well maintained. Will definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay! It was quiet and peaceful. We come home once a year to visit family nearby and this was by far our best trip. We will definitely be booking this cottage in advance going forward for our trips. It was perfect. It is very hard to travel with an Autistic child but she was so calm and at peace here. We very much appreciate simple decor without clutter and this met those needs in a very beautiful way. Takes a lot of stress off of us with our daughter possibly damaging something. Everything we needed was available. This is a great option and you won’t be disappointed.

Just got back to the rat race after a peaceful weekend watching the Atchafalaya River go by (between ULL and Ga Southern baseball games). Candy’s place was the perfect spot! Will definitely stay there again!

Wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. This place was just what we were looking for after staying 5 nights in New Orleans. It’s a very peaceful location. You get the feel of how the rest of Louisiana is outside of New Orleans. It’s a rustic fishing cabin just like the pics show but the place is clean and had whatever we needed to cook our breakfast(we ate out for dinners). One day we did plantation tours from here and the next day we did the swamp tour(highly recommended). The swamp tour is hosted by Allen(owner) and well worth it. He had us catching catfish out of the lake and later fried it up for us and made us a complete dinner! The owners live across the road and are very accessible and are such nice people! My one complaint is that the decking around the cabin is in pretty rough shape but the pictures do show this. From the decking we saw bald eagles, gators in the water, a snake, and lots of fish jumping out of the water!

We had a wonderful stay in Tonya’s house. Very roomy and comfortable for 3 couples. Very clean and tidy with everything you need. Perfect place to stay when visiting the Tabasco facility on Avery Island.
