Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Cosy, warm, comfortable. So peaceful and had a lovely outlook. Had everything I needed and I very much enjoyed my two nights there. Can thoroughly recommend! PS…and the blueberry jam was to die for! Thank you!

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, peaceful and private place. Very clean, comfortable and warm. Marie was very responsive and extremely accommodating, letting us check in quite a bit early. Beautiful view. We'll definitely stay again!

Julie and Menno's place is super clean and super accurate to the description. Amenities listed are amenities you get. Everything is there. Coffee pods, heater, massive TV with netflix. Near enough to town but not too close hence you get a bit of quiet and serenity. Instructions are very clear. The welcome snack is a cute little bonus! Very attentive hosts, and they're always quick to respond to comms as well. 11/10 - would totally stay here again!

Barbara and Tim were top-notch hosts! They went out of their way to locate a shop which offered an activity we were looking to do, always responded to my messages promptly and proactively offered help and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable without being intrusive. The unit is pristine, completely furnished with all the features one could want (kitchen and red wine glasses were AWESOME) and is easily accessible from the road and within the property. Throw in a million dollar view from the property and this is one of the best stays you could hope to find.

Stayed for a night and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Ample space and clean stay. Had all the amenities and more. Beds were comfortable and warm for the winter months. Kitchen was amazing and parking is indeed tight but not a hassle at all. Hot pools are literally across the complex and maybe a 3-5 min walk to the beach and Mount. Will stay again in the future when in Tauranga.

We had such a wonderful time! This is truly a beautiful Airbnb in a stunning location. It had everything we could possibly need and Robyn made us feel right at home. Our son enjoyed all the toys, puzzles and wanted to go kayaking as soon as his eyes opened in the morning. We will be back!

Loved our stay!! Kerry and David are lovely hosts and very helpful. Super cozy and looked exactly like the photos. Had everything we needed and we felt right at home; especially with the welcome board and snacks :) My nephew really enjoyed the toys and games too. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely time and there is plenty to like about Kristie's place. Obviously the proximity to the beach but also the outdoor shower setting and large porch were standouts for me. We were travelling with 3 large dogs so the fully fenced front yard was great. Very clean and well presented.

Well what can we say?! AMAZING! ❤️Antony & Yolanda’s house is simply BEAUTIFUL! The location is fantastic, a 2 min walk to the local supermarket/restaurants/bars & eateries. The beach also only a 2 min walk. We attended the Dawn Parade and it was such a luxury not having to worry about parking, everything really is on your doorstep. The house itself is lovely and spacious yet felt so cosy and homely. The hosts have put a LOT of thought and effort in to making you feel at home (and we did)! ❤️ From the cosy plush blankets, to the ping pong table (which was so much fun), everything was just magic! From our family to yours Y & A, a huge thank you! 😘❤️

Our stay was a perfect 10/10! We were on a girls’ trip and felt completely safe throughout. The location was ideal—private and peaceful, yet just a short drive from the main city, Eat Streat, Redwood Forest, Polynesian Spa, and other attractions. The house itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well-maintained. It's an ideal spot for families or a group of friends, with a spacious backyard that's great for kids to play and adults to relax or enjoy a BBQ. Portia was an incredibly responsive and friendly host, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. I highly recommend this stay!

We had such a great time staying at Mark’s place ! The home was warm and inviting and we loved making the fire at night, especially our 4 year old. The beds were super comfy and there was lots of touches that made our stay so nice and welcoming, including the bathroom heaters which were so good after a warm bath. The homemade bread was really thoughtful and delicious and for busy parents it made such a difference knowing there was something good for the kids to have. Not to mention fresh coffee beans ! For coffee snobs like us that was perfect 👍🏼 We would come back again for sure ! Thanks so much Mark 😊😊

What a stunning Airbnb! We could have sat on the sofa and stared out of the huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking Lake Taupō all day, and the real open log fire (very generously loads of firewood provided) made evenings extra cosy. It was super clean and tidy, has all the amenities you’d need, and was walkable to a few nice cafés/restaurants and less than a 10 min drive into Taupō itself which is a fantastic town. The outdoor bath is such an incredible treat! The night skies you get are absolutely beautiful, like nothing we’ve ever seen, and sitting in the outdoor tub stargazing was a highlight. Heads up - both beds (we tried both after not being super comfy the first night) are extremely firm which was the only slight down side to our stay but that’s very much preference and many may prefer that.

Irenes home was a god sent for us. Located on a hill top l facing the beautiful Taupu Lake one could not have asked for a better location to unwind and recouperate. It was majical. The home itself was well equiped comfortable and clean. we could not have asked for better. Loved our stay and will certainly be back.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

Alan was great- he was very considerate with our check in time and although we stayed only for one night, he was brilliant with communication.

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

Louise’s place was fantastic - even better than the photos! It was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful view of the lake, and included thoughtful touches like free condiments. A very comfortable and welcoming stay. Highly recommended!
