Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bay of Plenty Region

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place is located on a elevated spot above Whakatane with breathtaking views! Lorraine was extremely accommodating and making us feel like home! The place is very spacious with more than enough space for our group of six adults and two kids - they even had a kids toy box! Thank you!

Well what can we say?! AMAZING! ❤️Antony & Yolanda’s house is simply BEAUTIFUL! The location is fantastic, a 2 min walk to the local supermarket/restaurants/bars & eateries. The beach also only a 2 min walk. We attended the Dawn Parade and it was such a luxury not having to worry about parking, everything really is on your doorstep. The house itself is lovely and spacious yet felt so cosy and homely. The hosts have put a LOT of thought and effort in to making you feel at home (and we did)! ❤️ From the cosy plush blankets, to the ping pong table (which was so much fun), everything was just magic! From our family to yours Y & A, a huge thank you! 😘❤️

We had such a great time staying at Mark’s place ! The home was warm and inviting and we loved making the fire at night, especially our 4 year old. The beds were super comfy and there was lots of touches that made our stay so nice and welcoming, including the bathroom heaters which were so good after a warm bath. The homemade bread was really thoughtful and delicious and for busy parents it made such a difference knowing there was something good for the kids to have. Not to mention fresh coffee beans ! For coffee snobs like us that was perfect 👍🏼 We would come back again for sure ! Thanks so much Mark 😊😊

Lovely stay at the pink house. Was greeted by Alby upon arrival and shown around and explained things to us. House well set up for a family of 5. Comfy main bed and warm house. Really enjoyed our stay

Hands down one of the best, if not the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The cottage of Calida is warm, welcoming, clean and beautiful. And her small magic touch in details helps you enjoy it to the fullest - from having blanket ready in the box next to couch, to placing the woods right next to the fireplace the replacement, she has thought through all of this for you. The cottage is conveniently located near the Taupō Center. There’s a supermarket in 2 mins walk from the apartment - perfect for picking up anything you need. Everything in the house is as described as listing. Calida is really friendly and responsive. Her warm hospitality really made us feel like home. Would highly recommend Calida as a host and this cottage. Would love to revisit if we come back :) thanks very much for hosting us.

We arrived to a rainy reception but with Louise's clear instructions parking under the carport and getting inside was quick and painless. The house was clean and tidy and had all the amenities as described. The house is centrally located with the beach a shot 1 minute walk away, and the stunning Ohope International Golf course just a short 5 minute drive. Lots of living space to spread out and enjoy your stay even when the weather was inclement. I highly recommend booking a stay here if you are in the area.

Super friendly and flexible- allowing us to check-in a bit early as we had been camping in the recent storm and wanted to get indoors before a real big rain came. Lovely home with a whole floor to ourselves and beautiful bush outlook from all rooms. And a very friendly cat to look after us all stay long too. Definitely a stay to be used again some time!

Fantastic property in a great location. Great areas with 2 outdoor spaces and really great en-suite with master bedroom being away from the other 2 bedrooms. Really well setup kitchen and amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay again. Host responded very quickly and check in made easy.

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

Could not speak more highly of this place. It literally felt like home away from home in the sense that it didn’t have that typical air bnb feel; super homey vibe. Lynn was quick and efficient with communication which made check in super easy. The space is open and cosy, and literally had EVERYTHING you could need. The location is great as it’s close to everything but also not right in the busyness of it all. We had the best time during our time down the line and the accommodation played a huge part in it. Absolutely blown away. Loved having the lake on our doorstep with an indoor spa to hop between. Hosts were excellent communicators and so welcoming! Our stay exceeded our expectations and we will most certainly be back!

The most beautiful home. Space, style fully and equipped beyond many places I’ve stayed. Stunning, absolutely stunning location, you would never tire of the view. Hope to come again.

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.
