Apartment holiday rentals in Bawshar

We stayed 9 nights, 3 adults in the beachfront listing. Non-touristy site, fishing village, very quiet and traditional close to Muscat, 20 minutes by car and 40 minutes from the airport. Private restaurants and beaches 10 minutes away by car. Very nice stay.

Majid was a great host. guided us good. the place was clean n cozy 2bhk.. All the amenities was available like a hotel stay. A grocery store and eatery at the adjacent building. calm and peaceful locality. I loved the internet and netflix..

Very nice place in Muscat. Not many places are available in Oman with good Airbnb. This place is definitely one of the better options. Ibrahim was gracious and accommodating on everything. Will surely stay again. Highly recommended.

This place is 10/10 for adults or people with older kids! It was a bit challenging for me with my 2 boys (4 and almost 1) as the unit is on a roof top and the wall on the patio is 3ft high. My older one was constantly looking for a chance to climb it!! But when the boys were sleeping, we truly enjoyed the breathtaking view!! I keep referring this place to all my friends already! Truly wonderful stay! They had a guide/support guy - Abdul Rahman who lives couple of buildings away and he was available almost 24/7. He gave us great intel, tourist info and other local tips which was really helpful! The place was nice, cozy and clean! We loved Oman and will go back in 10 years when the boys are older and would love to stay at the same place! Thank you so much for your hospitality!! :)

Mohammad was an exceptional host! From being incredibly responsive and accommodating to providing a fantastic place, he truly earned his title as a Superhost. My parents stayed for a week, and everything was exactly as described—they felt completely at home. Another bonus was the apartment’s prime location in a well-connected area, with convenient access to major malls. Highly recommended!

Large, comfortable and easy access apartment. Close to the bus station and many shops it is a good place to visit the old town.

Made a last minute reservation since my flights changed and Ahmed was very accommodating. Was the perfect space to rest and unwind before a long international flight.

Was such a wonderful stay, The appartment is spacious, super clean and tidy with a touch of creativity in each corner, right on the beach surrounded with mountains and turquoise beach and with a huge terrace fully equipped with BBRQ and beautiful plants. Karin was a wonderful host made everything easy from start to finish we loved this place and we will definitely be back.

Abdullah’s place is a little gem.. situated @ Juman, the building has much higher standard than other buildings at the Mouj. What is so unique is the view, which you can enjoy from the very big balconies, Albudllah is a great host, and he planned everything to make the place a home form home : water bottles, great coffee machine, essentials at the fridge , all you need to clean/ use @ the kitchen, some fabulous touches all around the flat, that make it such a great experience. I had asked Abdullah to arrange extra items that were required specifically for us, and this was done so well and kindly. Abdullah does respond very quickly and always available for any requests… We shall be back… as we were very sad to leave!!! Oman is such a fabulous place and what makes it so special is the kindness of Omanis. Abdullah is a true reflection of this… kind, helpful and a pleasure to talk to.

staying at Yahya's place felt like staying at your friends house. Yahya actually invited me for sheesha and we had a great conversation about Oman and family. the place was great and especially the neighborhood. would definitely come back and recommend.

Mohammed is a great, responsive and a very helpful host, who is willing to listen to your requests. The house is spacious and very clean. Come with 3 toilets and the packed with amenities. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very equipped and water are provided.

Our stay at Hilal's was perfect! The location was exactly what we were hoping for and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Hilal was super quick to respond to any questions we had and was always kind and helpful. The accommodations were clean and everything was in perfect working condition. Getting a taxi was easy, as pick up was just a few steps away from the building. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Muscat.

If you are looking for somewhere comfortable, clean, well maintained, convenient and well priced, look no further. This apartment is an excellent place to stay in Muscat, centrally located and within 30 minutes drive of many local attractions. At the same time, it is peaceful and allows you to get away from the busy city when you want to relax. Everything worked with no issue, and was as advertised. Hassaan was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, he even stocked the fridge with enough bottled water to last two people for three days and provided fresh fruit and snacks free of charge. He and his team were always on hand to help and provide recommendations for our stay. If I am ever to visit Muscat again, this will surely be the first place I look to book

This is a lovely large, spacious, nicely decorated modern ground floor flat in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It is very clean. All 3 bedrooms are generous. Beds 1&2 have en-suite bathrooms whilst Bed 3 has its own bathroom next door. The dining/ living room is also very large. There is a fully equipped separate large kitchen. Beds are very comfortable with quality linens. Good A/C and WiFi. To the front is a sunny patio with garden furniture The apartment has free parking outside. As public transport is very limited in Muscat, a car is pretty essential. A couple of convenience stores, an excellent Syrian restaurant (Bab Shaqri) and a highly rated Spanish one (Alacena) are all within 5 mins walk. Other supermarkets and eateries are within a few minutes drive away. Jokha is a charming, super-responsive host with a passion for property/ rentals. A couple of minor issues brought responses within a couple of minutes. I can thoroughly recommend staying here.
