Holiday rentals in Båven

It’s hard to express just how much of a fantastic time my partner and I had at this stunning cottage in the Swedish countryside. The outdoor greenhouse was perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner and the hot tub was wonderful underneath the stars in peaceful surroundings. Nils left us a useful guidebook containing a wealth of information for local walks, hikes, activities and recommended restaurants, complete with clear instructions for navigation. We enjoyed a beautiful local nature reserve based on this. Two electric bikes were available for our use - this was a lovely touch which would enhance any stay. We travelled here primarily as it is within a 40 minute drive of Kolmården, which is probably the world’s best wildlife park and zoo, featuring one of the world’s highest ranked RMC rollercoasters. It’s also easy to reach this place from Stockholm via train to Nyköping, before a 10 minute drive to the property. A 10/10 Airbnb which we look forward to returning to in the future.

Fantastisk plats att få vara på en vecka! Mysig stuga med inglasat uterum, härlig altan och gudomlig utsikt! Utrustad med allt man behöver. Stugan är väldigt privat trots att värdarna också har en stuga på ön. Värdarna finns tillgängliga, men har låtit oss vara i fred i stugan. Värdarna var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma både innan vi kom och under vistelsen. Hunden Bruno blev även vår favorit! Vi hade kajaker med oss. Fina paddelvatten från ön och väldigt lätt att förvara tre kajaker på bryggan. Vi skulle mycket gärna komma tillbaka och njuta av fler dagar i detta paradis.

Wir haben eine entspannte Woche in Pias Haus verbracht und die Ruhe und den tollen, großen und gepflegten Garten genossen. Es gab mehrere Sitzgruppen, teilweise mit Blick auf den See. Besonders hat uns auch der Zugang zum See mit Privatsteg und Sauna gefallen. Es gab sogar die Möglichkeit, ein Ruderboot zu nutzen. Pia war immer für uns erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war gut zu finden und der Check- in flexibel und unkompliziert. Das Haus war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Toll war auch die Nähe zu Stockholm. Es gab regelmäßige Zugverbindungen von Gnesta aus. In 40 Minuten war man da. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

We wilden afgelegen in alle rust van de natuur genieten. Dat kan hier perfect. Kayak's tot je beschikking, mooie sauna direct aan het meer. Mooie accomodatie en bijzonder vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en -vrouw. Echt een aanrader!

En solig helg i juni bokade vi två nätter i Sandras mysiga 1700-talshus. Sandra fick oss att känna oss välkomna och hemma från första stund – från rundvandringen till det hembakta brödet hon lämnat till oss. Huset var väldigt hemtrevligt och rent och innehöll allt man kan önska. Även om huset ligger nära Sandras boningshus så upplever man vistelsen väldigt privat. På baksidan finns möjlighet att sitta och äta middag med tupparna gåendes runt omkring en och en och annan katt som stryker sig mot benen. Vi lånade cyklarna för en dagsutflykt och passade även att uppleva Gnesta med omnejd med bil. Allt som allt kan vi verkligen rekommendera detta boende och trevliga Sandra som värd!

This was definitely one of the greatest Airbnbs I’ve ever visited (and Ive been to quite a few places around the world). Joe is one of a kind host, we felt at home directly. He answers quickly, gives you privacy, all the information you need to have a nice stay and explore the area around. He is very thoughtful about his guests experience and generous with what is included in the price. One can tell that the details are thought through! Also, the nature around is amazing, there is so much you can explore. At the same time, you don’t have to do so much to enjoy the beautiful place. We are grateful for this experience 🙏

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, qui nous laisse déjà nostalgiques ! La maison dans laquelle nous étions, était très confortable, avec une décoration raffinée, avec tous les détails que j'attendais de la décoration d'une maison suédoise. Les poêles à bois sont magnifiques ! Lars, avec beaucoup de générosité, nous a permis de pouvoir accéder à son très beau domaine. Nous avions également accès à des radeaux à moteur. Nous avons pu rester sur le lac et profiter de la paix de cet endroit magnifique. Nous n'attendons qu'une chose: y revenir ! J'oubliais ! Les succulents gâteau et jus de pomme pétillant ( français ! ) que nous avons eu comme cadeaux de bienvenue ! De merveilleuses vacances....
