Farmstay holiday rentals in Bastia Umbra

It is such a glorious place. We were stunned, and so happy and calm for the three days we had there. The landscape around the house, and the waterfall, was breathtaking. Thank you Ella and all the family!

Wir waren für eine Woche im Mai mit unserem Hund bei Simona zu Gast und haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück und der Garten ist ein Traum. Super schön gelegen, sehr weitläufig und viele Gelegenheiten sich es gemütlich zu machen - egal ob auf der Terrasse oder am Pool. Ihre beiden Hunde sind sehr freundlich und haben sich mit unserem Hund gut verstanden. Egal ob Reisen mit Hund oder ohne - wir würden diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Sie eignet sich sowohl als Ausgangspunkt um die Region zu erkunden, als auch um sich einfach vor Ort an diesem traumhaften Platz eine gute Zeit zu machen und einfach die Natur und die Ruhe zu genießen.

Ottimo alloggio per visitare le vicine e famose località della regione. Monica è stata davvero gentile e professionale garantendo che tutto, dal soggiorno alla comunicazione al check-in fosse svolto senza alcun intoppo. Un’esperienza consigliata!

La casetta di Chiara si trova in una zona davvero splendida, immersa nel verde delle colline, tra gli ulivi e con una vista magnifica. L'alloggio in sé non manca di nulla: bagno ok, cucina con ampie dotazioni, wifi, TV, impianto di riscaldamento efficiente, condizionatore per i periodi caldi. Non è grandissimo di suo ma con ampi spazi esterni godibili che lo rendono impagabile. Noi per esempio avevamo a disposizione una amplissima veranda con vista panoramica che da sola varrebbe il viaggio. Nella proprietà c'è modo di lasciare l'auto comodamente, spazio per barbecue all'aperto con tanto di tavolata coperta, una bella piscina con il solarium, spazio giochi per i bambini, campo da calcetto tra gli ulivi e in sostanza tutto lo spazio che si desidera circondati da fiori e piante aromatiche con una vista unica. In zona borghi splendidi da visitare e sentieri da esplorare. Aggiungiamoci la cordialità di Orietta, del buon vino e olio e spero di aver reso l'idea.

La casa di Marzia è una vera chicca per chi vuole passare qualche giorno nella pace e tranquillità. Consiglio davvero di farci visita, è disperso nel nulla, ma comunque facilmente raggiungibile con specifica dall’indirizzo fornito direttamente da Marzia. Consiglio l’amaca sotto le stelle e un buon caffè vista collina la mattina presto. Ci torneremo molto presto perché fare una esperienza così è senz’altro da ripetere!

Mario's welcome with a good bottle of red wine and local cookies was a great start for a long peaceful week. The house is located in one of the nicest spots in Umbria. We could have stayed there much longer in order to experience all the finest places Umbria has to offer. Tsvi

Nothing but positive things to say about our beautiful stay at Susan and Salvatore’s slice of heaven. The most stunning panoramic views of the lake and countryside. Something straight out of Pinterest or a magazine :) They were always super responsive and more than happy to help with local recommendations. It’s a great base to explore Umbria and Tuscany by car as it’s basically on the border to both. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks again for a beautiful stay :)

Manuela & Adriano are wonderful hosts - always available to help and just charming. The apartment is well out fitted, spotless, and in a magnificent setting. We felt immediately at home, enjoyed delicious aperitif outside watching the sunset.This is definitely a visit again place !!

Were were a party of five and had a true Umbrian experience at Nicolette's place. Communication was excellent and she was quick to respond to any questions. Recommendations for restaurants and experiences were great. We used several. The House - spacious, well appointed, charming! Pass through the vineyards and the woods to the house on the hills with the incredible view. We even saw wild boar crossing the road one night on the way back. We enjoyed the pool every day, swimming with the most incredible view of the Umbrian hills and gardens. I really can't say enough. Location was perfect for day trips to other areas and 10 minutes to the old city centre. Thank you Nicoletta for a truly beautiful experience. Tracy

Country slow living at its best combined with outstanding hospitality. Our vacation started right after we entered the apartment which was exactly as described and cleaned to perfection. We immediately got recommendations on possible activities in the region and were actively supported during support with any request we had. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some relaxation in a peaceful environment.

Ostern war natürlich ein Risiko mit dem Wetter. Dann haben wir die Villa gefunden. Mit 33 Grad beheizten Pool - genau die Lösung. Großer wohn und Ess Bereich mit ebenso großzügigen Terrassen. Genügend liegen Handtücher alles prima. Nicht mit den Sportwagen kommen (die letzte Meile ist Schotterpiste und auf die Stufen zu den Schlafräumen einstellen. Dann die Ruhe und die Aussicht genießen! Das Abendessen in der Ölmühle is sein Geld und den Weg wert. 11 Tage gingen zu schnell vorbei.

Caroline's villa was absolutely stunning. We visited as a family of 8 adults and it was even more beautiful in person. It's completely private with amazing views all around. It's also in a great location to visit other picturesque villages nearby with a car. The pool was a great addition to combat the Tuscan heat. As this is in the countryside, be aware that there will be insects and wildlife. We came across a snake and a scorpion, but that's not an issue with the house, but rather the natural environment. The property manager Bianca greeted us upon arrival. She was super friendly and helpful with tips. And Caroline left us super detailed recommendations for restaurants, itineraries, and wineries. She was always available and friendly. We had an amazing time and would definitely visit again!

Wir haben eine unvergessliche Woche bei Joanne und Tony verbringen dürfen. Die beiden sind wunderbar und bringen britische Gastfreundschaft mit umbrisch-toskanischem Flair in Perfektion zusammen. Das Pizza-Event war großartig und ist absolut empfehlenswert. Wir durften Ende April auch schon den makellosen Salzwasserpool mit tollem Ausblick nutzen. Unsere Wohnung war überaus charmant, sauber, ruhig und urgemütlich mit guten Betten. Sie war groß genug und ausreichend ausgestattet für 4 Personen, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Ein Smart-TV und sehr zuverlässiges Internet komplettierten den tollen Gesamteindruck. Highlight waren natürlich jederzeit der überwältigende Fernblick ins wunderschöne Umland bis nach Orvieto und die beiden Gastgeber, denen man die Leidenschaft anmerkt. Aufgrund der abgeschiedenen Lage sollte man mobil sein, um etwas unternehmen zu können. Aber wer das ist, kann in Casala Zeno für eine Zeit lang wahres Glück finden.

We had a wonderful stay at Antico Casale and Stefania is a lovely host who is always attentive and friendly. The apartment has two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and one kitchen/dining room. It is possible to use an outside area right outside the apartment for breakfast or other meals. The pool is quite big, provides beach lounges and a seating area (with BBQ). The view is picturesque and the area itself quiet. It takes about 8 minutes by car to go to Umbertide. It was a perfect summer vacation and we’d love to come back soon.

Stefano and his family are amazing hosts with everything you need. The space was clean and tidy with a great large pool to swim in whenever you want. Well equipped and great recommendations for site seeing , wine etc. would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Amazing and peaceful stay in the heart of Umbria!

Fantastic place and fantastic hosts. We spent a month here with our baby and it could not have been better. Pietro and Christina are friendly, helpful and warm. Strongly recommend to those who are looking for a peaceful and charming place in the middle of Umbria

Great accommodation in a stunning area

Wow! What an incredible property. We loved our time staying at ‘the tower’. It is a beautiful setting among the olives and vines on a hilltop. The surrounding area is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to local vineyards and restaurants. Only one caveat: the WiFi is very weak and not suitable for video calls.

This was the finest AirBNB home that we've ever stayed in. Every room was immaculate, the views were incredible (private and among vineyards, you can see for miles), every appliance and fixture seemed new. Everything was anticipated to make the stay perfect.....a refrigerator, bathroom and shower at the beautiful pool, pool towels in each bedroom, etc. As soon as you walk into this house, you are going to go "wow", and for good reason. Francesca came and cooked us a delicious local dinner and did some light grocery shopping for us.....all for an unreasonably LOW fee. We had another chef team come in on another night. We also visited a local winery where we had a fantastic, private wine tasting tour and lunch (Tenuta Vitalonga) and followed that up with touring Orvieto and having dinner at a very unique restaurant (Le Grotte del Funaro). Make sure you have a car or are using a bus/limo service for your transportation, nothing is walkable from this beautiful private house.

Très belle maison avec tout le nécessaire (même plus) à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. La maison est un peu éloignée des restaurants/activités disponibles dans la région mais cela vaut le coup d’y séjourner au vu du calme, de la belle vue depuis la terrasse et de la maison superbe

Was lovely to stay at one of the apartments on Renato's estate. Renato and his wife are very kind and friendly and made us feel at home. The estate is very secluded on hilltop 5km drive from the village, with beautiful grounds providing enough privacy for individual apartments as well as a restful setting. Would love to go back next time we're in the area.

Our stay at Giovanni’s was incredible. He went above and beyond to cater to our needs. It was perfect for our family with young children.. a wonderful private property with plenty to do, but no need to even leave the property if you don’t want to (especially with such a wonderful pool area). Giovanni and Paolo were great at communicating and did everything they good to help us, even when we had special requests.
