Amazing home! We were four families and all of us including the kids loved the stay. Lots of options from indoor & outdoor games, to BBQ grill, to Jacuzzi to projector to campfire to many many more... Home was like new, very clean, fully loaded rooms - kitchen, dining, living, bedrooms and bathrooms. Hari was a great host, very proactive, responsive and flexible to requests. Highly recommend and if we are back to Yosemite, this will be the first choice!

Great place for our 2 families to get together. Loved the game room downstairs for the kids to play, and loved sitting out on the deck with the propane fire pit/ hot tub. There is a small separate camp site a ways down on the property, but we felt very private and peaceful at the house. Loved staying here and drove to see Yosemite during our stay.

Kam was very responsive and very helpful. Despite the (very small and minor) hiccups, Kam went out of his was to be very responsive and quick to make everything right. Great host. The house is beautiful and in a quiet location which is perfect for family or groups. The park entrance is 35 minutes approximately and Yosemite valley is about 1.45. There are grocery stores 5-7 min away which makes it very convenient. Would recommend and will definitely stay again in the future!

This house really is perfect! We came for a family vacation with our adult son and senior parent. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. It is a genuinely warm and peaceful space. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the serene woodlands. We did lots of cooking and had everything we could have possibly needed to create lovely meals and all was of very good quality. Everyone enjoyed their beautifully decorated rooms and comfortable beds. Sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in Yosemite was a daily highlight. It is a scenic 40 minute drive to the park, much of it through the Sierra National Forest. The Stone House is a work of art. Every detail about what a guest might need was thoughtfully planned for, down to a shoe shine kit by the door and ice packs for day trips. Everything about our stay was luxurious and peaceful. Maja was a very caring host and always responsive. I can't recommend this house enough. Everything about it was perfect!

The place was beautiful and just as described. It was an easy drive to the south entrance of Yosemite. The town of Oakhurst had everything we needed within a five to ten minute drive.

We had everything we needed. since the beginning the host responded within 40 minutes. the description was corrected, included everything that was stated. The place was clean. Fun place to stay at with the game room and big master bedroom and living room. Very close to Yosemite! check out was easy as well!

Great place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite. Serava was responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I would book again in the future if the opportunity comes!

Aseel was a great host and very responsive. House was in a great location and the swimming pool was clean and we enjoyed it a lot. The play structure can be cleaner and swings are too low for kids or toddlers to play. Overall a great stay and very helpful and responsive host.

We all had a great stay, house is amazingly peaceful and the view is outstanding. We enjoyed the hot tub, dry sauna and fire pit, all with great views. House was great, clean, beds super comfortable and host is very responsive.

We had an awesome stay with our family! The house is super cozy, had everything we needed, and the kids had a blast with all the games and space to run around. We even saw deer right on the property! The road up is a bit mountain-y but we made it just fine in our regular SUV. It’s peaceful, private, and the hot tub at night was a highlight. Would definitely stay again — it was the perfect base for Yosemite + Bass Lake.

Conveniently located between town and the park. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to feed our large group. The place was clean and quiet Overall a nice stay

5 stars – Perfect Family Getaway! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The home was spotless, private, and even more stunning in person. From the moment we walked in, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The amenities truly made the experience special. The pool and hot tub were clean and perfect for unwinding. The game room was a favorite for both adults and kids, offering plenty of entertainment throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals and spend quality time together. This was an ideal place for a family getaway—peaceful, comfortable, and packed with thoughtful touches. Our stay at Shanks’ Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was designed with families in mind. The lodge offers a wide range of amenities, including a basketball hoop, playroom, a pond, a jacuzzi, and a refreshing swimming pool—perfect for hot summer days. Nestled on a stunning piece of land, the lodge is truly a nature lover’s paradise. Each morning, I enjoyed sitting on the back deck with a cup of coffee, taking in the peaceful sounds of birds, frogs, and falcons around the pond. It was perfect way to start the day. The lodge itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals with ease. Sahari Lodge is an incredible house in a surreal setting. The house has so much to offer, the game room and movie theatre along with the spacious loft were favorite hangouts for the kids. The house was very clean and the owners did a great job of providing everything we needed for the stay. We spent a day at Yosemite and Bass Lake. Overall, this is an incredible property, with great views of the Sierras from every room. We would love to come back again!

We had a great stay for our annual family trip! The house has fun amenities like a fire pit, pool, hot tub, games, and a big table perfect for group meals. The views are beautiful, and the stargazing dome with lights was a fun touch. The 4-bed bunkroom was great for kids (or adult cousins), and the location of the house is super convenient—about 35 minutes to the Yosemite gate and 15 minutes to Oakhurst. One bedroom and bathroom is located in a separate barn. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only suggestion would be to bring extra towels if you plan to use the pool or hot tub. A solid spot for families or groups looking for space and outdoor fun!
