Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Basalt

The bear mentioned in the house rules did stop by, the kids were fascinated. There was also a slight mix-up on the access code and initial directions to the unit (wrong unit was sent), but Amber and Matt took care of it right quick and corrected it.

We had an amazing stay! The home was beautiful with stunning views, and everything about the place made it hard to leave. We brought our furbaby along, and he had a fantastic time too — the property felt safe and was perfect for him to explore and relax. Shariann was a great and responsive host, always quick to answer any questions and very helpful throughout our stay. We’re still mentally in Edwards and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful, scenic, and pet-friendly getaway!

What an amazing place. The view off the deck is incredible. The inside was very clean and had everything we needed. Looked even better alegan the pictures.!One of the better equipped Airbnb kitchens I’ve come across as well. Lorrie was a great host and answered all questions quickly. Close to both glenwood and Carbondale. Can’t go wrong.

Great spot and great hosts for a family retreat. Our party of 9 had plenty of room and the back deck was a great hangout spot.

This was the most wonderful place I've ever stayed! I really appreciated the thoughtful follow-up I received even before my stay. The house was absolutely lovely, and I truly wished I could have stayed longer than just one night. My whole family loved this wonderful home, and enjoying high-quality coffee in the morning made it the best memory. Since we checked in late, we strolled through the garden the next morning. Amazing home, beatiful, clean, warm, spacious. Full kitchen, amazing big dining table. Great privacy, secluded from neighbors. Slept very well, and comfortably. The garage fit our huge pickup truck, and we had no issues getting up the hill. An absolute 10/10 for this airbnb, it made our experience beautiful and amazing. Thank you!

Our stay at this mountain retreat was unforgettable! The views of the mountains were stunning, especially with the gorgeous sunrises each morning. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, and the chef’s kitchen was a dream – it had everything we needed to cook amazing meals. Preparing breakfast while looking out at the mountains was a highlight! The property’s friendly barn cats added such a warm, personal touch, and the neighbor horses were a delight to see each day, grazing just beyond the fence. It felt like our own little sanctuary, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts thought of every detail to make us comfortable and were so responsive to any questions. Highly recommend this beautiful retreat for anyone who loves cooking, nature, and incredible views. We’ll definitely be back!

This house was wonderful. The setting is absolutely perfect, peace and quiet with beautiful surroundings but doesn’t feel isolated. Great views from all sides. We have lived and traveled extensively in the mountains, and loved this house. Jake was there to explain everything. He also is a master pizza maker and his pizzas are highly recommended, as is this house.

This was the second time the my teenage daughter, dad, and I stayed at Kris and Karen’s place for a multi-day ski trip. It works perfectly for our needs.

We loved this place. It’s so easy to take the bus to Snowmass, the stop is right out front. You can walk to the grocery and the local pizza place. We loved the vibe of the place too.

We enjoyed staying at Erins place. The condo was very nice and conveniently located for skiing.

Fantastic stay with Katy - we came to do some fly fishing and she gave me a book of Colorado's best fishing spots as soon as we checked in!! She was awesome, place was immaculate, and right on the Eagle. Will return!

This is one of the best rentals we have experienced. Sandy is an exceptional, gracious and thoughtful host. Her attention to detail in making her guests feel at home...incredible! It starts when you walk in and are welcomed with a basket filled with goodies. The condo has views of the mountains, is beautifully decorated, immaculate, with comfy beds and sofa, fluffy towels and guest robes! The private shuttle to Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts was greatly appreciated, as well as the locker area for ski storage. We can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful condo with us.

Great location. We never used our car once we got there. The free shuttle was fabulous they dropped us off right at the gondola at Ajax and picked us up, we walked the 3 blocks each night to dinner in town which was fabulous. Bathtub was nice and big with plenty of hot water and my husband enjoyed the hot tub numerous times. Bed was comfy. Thanks Daniel!

Amazing stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. We loved the thoughtful touches throughout the space, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy living area. It truly felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to book again!

My family stayed at the cabin for Christmas and loved our time there. Getting there was easy because of the clear directions provided. We maxed out the capacity between adults, a 1 year old and 2 dogs but the lofted master and open 3rd floor loft weren’t an issue since we were all awake at the same time. The main floor was perfect - we cooked all our meals there, ate together at the dining table and all hung out comfortably in the living room, they even had a tree & garland up for the holidays which was nice. A few things to note if planning to cook, the dishwasher is in rough shape and doesn’t clean all the way so we had to hand wash dishes when we arrived as well as throughout the stay. The freezer doesn’t quite stay cold so we had ice cream & ice cubes that melted. Overall it was a beautiful area and communication with Barb & David was great, they were so responsive before, during & after. We’re so happy we chose to stay here & made such fun memories as a family.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a dream out of a movie. So peaceful. We loved being able to explore the property and the river out front. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of four loved staying at Bill's place. We wanted a private, off-the-grid rental with easy access to a fishable river/creek and beautiful surroundings. Bill's place was just that. We loved hiking the property -- there's a beautiful, property trail that goes about a mile through meadows & towards the mountains. The stars at night were unbeatable. My kids loved floating in the creek across the street, and we loved fishing there & also driving about 5 minutes away where we had a good river access & caught lots of gorgeous rainbow trout. The kitchen is stocked with things like sugar, oils, seasoning & some dry goods people have left. Lots of utensils and plates & a great grill & smoker outside. The place is surrounded by cute chipmunks and deer - fun for our kids. One FYI is that there are two Airbnbs on the property - the main cabin and a separate barn with an apartment (which we hadn't realized) but wasn't an issue - other than that, you'll be alone if that's what you want!

This house is so special. The layout is great. The space is wonderful. Great views from the yard. The street is quiet and easy. We had the best time at this house with our family celebrating our daughter's 13th birthday. The home is so comfortable and clean. Hot tub was an added bonus. Thank you again. Can't wait to come back soon!

Was just like the pictures. Friendly, responsive hosts. Was a great base for all of my vacation adventures!

The RAD cabin is perfectly situated in Glenwood Springs, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and plenty of activities. Other outdoor activities are just a short drive away. The cabin was easy to come and go on foot, though the construction in town made it challenging to navigate with a car. Guests with dogs should be mindful of the lack of sidewalks and other off leash dogs in the neighborhood, and the occasional bear sighting! The clean, cozy cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable, memorable stay.

My fiancé and I loved the cabins! It’s such a serene and peaceful experience! 10/10 recommend! We’re thinking of booking again in the fall so we can get the full wilderness experience!

This is a beautiful cabin and location, private and lovely surroundings. Kitchen has everything you need, great stove, and outside grill. Gorgeous patio with a firepit. The outdoor shower is wonderful - plenty of warm/hot water, and the views are lovely. The outhouse is very close and clean - no odor at all. You can see and hear the Thompson Creek from the cabin, and the hiking options are plentiful. The bedroom loft is cozy, and the bed is comfy. If you want to unplug and relax, this is a perfect place. Close enough to explore Carbondale, Redstone, Marble, and Aspen and beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful enough to stay where you are. Besides the charm of the cabin and location, the hosts stand out for their responsiveness, hospitality, and great love for the property and its history.
