Holiday rentals with lake access in Bas-Saint-Laurent

A memorable stay for the family, in a beautiful and very well appointed house. The cleanliness, the amenities (only one downside for the TV, you have to provide a mobile phone), the location (quiet and with a magnificent view of the lake), the decoration of the place, all been more than perfect. I strongly suggest this place and Simon is also a great host .

This was my second time staying at Mathieu’s because I loved it so much the first time. The place was very clean with a well stocked kitchen (many appliances, dishes etc…). The view of the lake is incredible!! I will definitely be going back

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this home, a small period house almost completely renovated. The accommodation is very well located for visiting Kamouraska and the area around Rivière-du-Loup. There are very good restaurants nearby (Kamouraska - Rivière-du-Loup) and many sites for hiking or cycling. If it's still available, we'll be back for a longer stay.

It was great, if you want a quiet place away from the world that's exactly that, Alex was a very friendly and pleasant host, he took us a tour of the whole lake and even let us use his kayak and pedal boat, it was a great stay, I would highly recommend it.

The host couple were incredibly kind and welcoming — they even waited for us at the entrance, which made us feel truly at home. The room was spacious, cozy, and full of character, with a private and peaceful atmosphere. It’s definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. There’s also a lovely cat around, and the mangoes and pineapples grown by the host added a charming, personal touch. Highly recommended — I’d love to stay here again!

Overall everything was great, especially the location! Only thing, I was a bit perplexed about the soap bars already used in the shower, I would suggest bringing your own soap.

Very nice stay. My mother and aunt just talk about this place, more than the fall colors! Very well equipped, with more things than in my own house! Near a river and a beautiful lake that can be visited on foot from the house. Incredible colors in the fall. Hopefully we can go back in the winter. The apartment that Angelo listed is in a former retirement building that is in the process of being transformed. The place itself is really spacious and comfortable. As this is located in a very small quiet village, reception is almost nonexistent — something to keep in mind if you rely on your phone maps as a GPS. The closest grocery store is about 15 minutes away (although check on business hours before going there). My wife and I stayed here just to relax quietly and do a bit of hiking and walking. This place was perfect for that.

Eric and Natali's cottage is ideally located for swimming, kayaking, boating, etc. on beautiful Lac Baker. Although the location is tranquil, it is also convenient - 15 minutes or less drive from several area markets and within day tripping distance of many interesting sights in the area. The cottage has lovely indoor and outdoor areas to sit and relax while enjoying the views and intermittent serenades from the loons. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the chairs and sofas offer many sitting/lounging options to satisfy everyone. We especially enjoyed having access to the kayaks and watching sunrise and sunset over Lac Baker. Thank you for hosting us, and we look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful property, great view of the small lake. Found house to be updated and clean. Stayed 5 weeks and found no issues. Host is responsive as well.

We loved our family stay. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we had to have fun. We enjoyed the edge of the water and outdoor games. I would recommend this cottage if you are looking for tranquility and a warm place for your whole family (young and old).
