The cabin was a great getaway for our family (dog and 5 year old included). It was exactly as described and the perfect place to unwind and get away from the busy world. Before we checked in Thomas and Shelly reached out and told us of an issue with the cabin that wouldn’t be able to be fixed before our vacation.(we had no issues with it while we were there) They were open and upfront with it and gave us the option of continuing our stay. It wasn’t a big deal to us but we were happy to have the information. We had rain in the forecast and Shelly made sure our 5 year old had plenty of activities to do inside so we didn’t have to worry about entering him. It was muddy due to the rain and they made sure we had extra towels for our dog. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with all we needed. Highly recommended staying and enjoying the cabin.

My family and I had a great time up at Mike's cabin this past weekend. We booked the cabin last minute after seeing rain and cold temps in the forecast and his cabin saved our weekend! The kids and I had fun manning the wood stove inside the cabin which kept us all very warm at night. The outdoor fire pit up at the cabin is huge, with plenty of room to build a fire for warmth and a smaller one for cooking on the side. This is a great place to be if you like to cook as there is a charcoal and a propane grill, a gas stove top and oven, and the fire pit – lots of options to eat well as you rough it! Mike is a great host, supplying wood and other essentials for an enjoyable trip while also responding immediately to phone calls or questions. He stopped by the cabin before we arrived to get the wood stove going for us! The cabin is in a nice private and secluded area, a great location for listening to the sounds of nature and reconnecting a bit. Highly recommended for families!

We had such a great time during our stay at Keith and Jerry’s place! The home was modern, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches—like the welcome snack basket and the professional binder with all the details we needed. It even smelled amazing when we walked in! The river view was absolutely beautiful and made for a relaxing backdrop throughout our trip. Keith and Jerry were in constant communication and made sure we felt taken care of every step of the way. Highly recommend their place for a peaceful and well-organized getaway!

The place is beautiful — especially the stunning view of the pond from the porch. They have a canoe and paddle boat that you can ride on the pond. The house itself is very nice and clean, and it’s fully equipped with everything a family might need, including a laundry machine, hair dryer, charging cables, extra towels, and plenty of kitchen supplies to cook almost anything. we will definitely visit again. highly recommended for anyone who wants to getaway! also our host Austin was really great and responsive.

Extraordinary rural location. Handsome house and guest rooms, all with character. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen more stocked than most AirBnB with food, including coffee, milk, orange juice, breakfast cereal. Jana and George were warm and helpful, made us feel like their invited guests. Off the beaten track in the best sense, and worth the twists and turns required to reach.

Stayed for a few days with some friends. The place was great, much bigger than photos show. Plenty of rooms bathrooms and beds. Very responsive when we had an issue and clear instructions on everything, down to working televisions. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect stay - place was clean and just what we wanted. Location on creek where we were skipping stones and a bald eagle flew right by through creek bed! So quiet and peaceful like your own slice of nature . Lois was amazing and responsive . Will come back for certain

Our family had a wonderful stay of four nights at the house. Christian has been always responsive and helpful with messages from the reservation to our checkout. We arrived very late at night and got help immediately how to access the house. A very cozy and charming house with three right-sized bedrooms and very comfortable beds with clean bedding. The living room has big couches and soft blankets with a big TV screen. The dining area near a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom with a fresh stack of towels, shampoo, body wash etc… To access Cornell University, we greatly enjoyed the 30mns drive through beautiful landscapes. I highly recommend this place for families and will definitely come back.
