Lovely apartment in an exceptionally beautiful location and breathtaking views. Very friendly welcome. Wonderful place to relax and unwind.

We were absolutely wowed by this beautiful villa. Tania greeted us in our arrival and showed us round - she was super helpful despite our lack of Spanish! Tania was on hand to help with any questions we had. The villa is well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Perfect for a family stay where we cooked and played games. The pool, pool-house and garden were fantastic and we enjoyed the sunshine. Lovely views of the hills and cows in the distance. The villa was absolutely spotless. The villa is a fairly rural location and a car would be beneficial (as Tania describes in the listing). However, we enjoyed the 20 minute walk to Lidl and taxis were available into the city. Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. It was all spectacular; the location, the house, the garden... It was a weekend of friends and we all liked it. Also, I have brought 3 b*****s who enjoyed it with the very good care and fenced ground. Surely we repeat experience.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

We were very comfortable in the accommodation. The house was impeccable, it had everything, towels, the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had shampoo and gel. The truth is we rested and Magda was very kind.

We had a wonderful week at Maria’s place! The house was perfect – clean, thoughtfully furnished, and ideal for us and our two toddlers. Everything we needed was there, and we felt at home from the very beginning. The location was great, and communication with Maria was always friendly and easy. Thanks to this lovely accommodation, our family vacation turned into a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

We have been enjoying Esther's house in Hortiguela, which is very well located both in the village with the warrior bar next door, and in the area that has a lot of places to discover and activities to do. Esther and her husband made us feel at home and we will definitely repeat.

Like home... What a pity to have enjoyed only 1 night in it... Araceli always attentive and available to us... only drawback, difficult parking at night... but still, I would return...

We had a great weekend. The cottage is beautiful, it lacks nothing, full of beautiful details. Raquel was very kind and greeted us with delicious homemade muffins, eggs from her chickens, sweets, beers... and she even has a small pantry. We'll be back for sure! Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.

Very good welcome in a natural and unspoiled environment, quiet and very soothing. However, we noticed the presence of cameras inside the unit (garage, living room and living room) which surprised us. Monica did us a favor by offering the garage and the use of the barbecue. We would highly recommend it.

Lpved this house, lots of space, really clean and the nearby hike was fab. Friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

Inaki was very helpful right from the beginning of our stay and could not have been easier to deal with. He looked up local taxi forms and bus routes to where we needed to go, gave food recommendations for around the local area. Replied very quickly and had an amazing home, it was even better than the photos. Inaki even left us a few basics like eggs and bread etc and some really nice lemon cake too! I couldn’t recommend him and his place enough Thankyou so much for all the help

It was a good experience. Noelia is very nice and answered all the questions. Even sending photos of what was in the kitchen so we didn't have to bring too much, etc. He also let us leave later so we took advantage of the last day. The house is incredible, it has everything you could possibly need and more. The incredible garden overlooking the mountain and the super nice surroundings. You have trails nearby, but you can also take the car and in 10 minutes you have trails with waterfalls, etc. The supermarket is a bit far away, but with a car you can easily get there and you can also visit the villages with super good restaurants, etc. The rooms are very good, everything is very clean and comfortable with views in each one. And the living room with the fireplace is really an incredible area to be at night with plenty of room. It really is an incredible house, we had a great time. Thank you Noelia for such a good experience. We'll be back!

Both Ana and Isi gave us a very good welcome, they were very kind and close. In addition, the house was great in every way. The pity was not being able to enjoy the house more due to lack of time. In conclusion, everything has been great. We'll repeat.

It was easy to understand how to get the key.I think it is a good base for visiting Marques de Liskal and other wineries!

Ana's house is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. We spent three nights to visit Cantabria, and it was very good for us to travel from one place to another. Ana always answered messages very quickly and tried to solve all the problems we had. There was a problem with the washing machine and she immediately offered to wash our clothes and return them to us dry.
