You can cross country ski, snowshoe, hike, or bike out your front door, and we are located within 45 min. from Sugarbush, Stowe, Mad River Glen, & Bolton Valley. You can also check out the local beer & spirits scene, or just relax at the farm. Guests are always welcome to tour the grounds and see the animals.

Easy access to the varied actives that Vermont provides. Off-street Parking; separate entrance in a safe and quiet neighborhood; 15minute walk to downtown. Please note this is a no-smoking property.

Magical cabin with amazing views

100 year old , freshly renovated cabin that is in the middle of five 100 year old apple trees with incredible Mountain View’s. The cabin sits 100ft uphill from my 1842 brick farmhouse and is surrounded by apples trees, an ancient elm tree, fields and my berry patches. The huge deck has a dining table, lots of seating and and outdoor shower. Off the side of the deck are two claw foot bathtubs with hot and cold water for you to soak in. Note, tubs aren’t usable during the freezing months.

Fairytale cabin at The Wild Farm

Lay in bed and look out the huge picture window at the farm. Our goats graze in the pasture. Kittens are playfully climbing trees and love to say hello to guests! We have a Wolf, don't be alarmed she is as friendly as can be and will greet you and escort you to the cabin. If you like nature, animals, walking in the forest, cuddling up by the wood stove, then this is the place for you. The cabin is surrounded by gorgeous perennial gardens. This house is truly one of the cleanest and most beautiful houses we have stayed in through Airbnb. It has all the charm of an old farmhouse, but the renovations bring the modern amenities, especially in the kitchen. We were able to make dinner two nights while there. The living room is cozy for family movie nights. The little desk let me write while the rest of my family was reading. We went to Montpelier twice, Stowe, and even to the Shelbourne area. Easy access to highways, but we loved all the rides on local roads through small towns. One hint - the water dispenser in the fridge is a little tricky to find. There is a little button on the bottom of the left door that will open when you pull the door. I loved eating off of Limoges dishes and exploring the barn. Even with two rainy days, we were able to enjoy the house. Access to all popular streaming services for family movie night. I truly cannot recommend Veronica’s home highly enough. I hope we will be back soon!

There are so many things I want to say about Fearns place so I’ll do my best to keep it sweet and short! Amazing, first off. The instructions Fearn gave to arrive to the house were direct and clear so make sure to follow them. Being able to wake up to the view of the mountains was so lovely. I enjoyed the privacy and serenity of the house itself, while also appreciating how close it was to Montpelier (15-20) and Burlington (a little over 45 min). I drove up in an old Honda civic on a rainy day at night (!) and had no issues accessing the house. I’d recommend using the maps in the house to navigate the local area since the cell reception isn’t very consistent. Bring a good book or a craft to unplug and appreciate the surroundings!

I had a short stay at Jungwoo’s home, and it was perfect for my needs! I recommend grabbing a cozy breakfast at the nearby Wayside Restaurant. The Barre Town Forest also offers some great hiking opportunities nearby!

So lovely, I wish I could have stayed longer! A warm, cozy, elegant space, that was clean and inviting. Amanda was sweet and thoughtful, and serves a WONDERFUL maple latte downstairs in their gallery. The location was perfect as I had easy access to the interstate to go skiing the next day. I highly recommend staying here!

Jan was fantastic! She was proactive in communication prior to my arrival and very flexible and understanding when I did not arrive at the time I was hoping to arrive by. Her place was serene, tucked away in the woods. Unique in its decor and super clean with amazing, homemade baked goods to welcome visitors. Would absolutely stay there again!
