Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Barr

We felt very comfortable! Joëlle and her husband stopped by our place upon arrival and everything was totally friendly and pleasant. Joëlle was always available for questions, etc. Giving us tips that a rayle took place in the village. The house was very clean, everything was there as discussed, the kitchen also well equipped. Even in case of emergency, important food is already available. The garden is great with the small stream right by the house, our big child was busy and was able to play great. Without heating, it was a little fresh but the wood-burning fireplace quickly conjured up a great warmth. Only the rooms and beds are a little small if you sleep in with children as 2 families but that was also possible and we knew about the bed size (140 cm) in advance. And the bathroom is totally great, there were also enough towels for everyone. As well as even taps for the washing machine when we had to wash for once. The location is great quiet Will come again any time ♥️

Alycia's accommodation was impeccable when we arrived. Very well decorated and furnished. Everything is thought of to make you feel at home, including for the dogs! Warning for light sleepers: the accommodation is on the edge of the forest, the automatic detection (outdoor lights) is triggered regularly, probably due to animals. Although there are blinds that block out the light properly, my husband, who is a very light sleeper, has sometimes been inconvenienced. We had a pleasant stay in this accommodation, without worrying about whether this equipment was present. A pleasure to renew!

Guillaume is a great host. The place is amazing and had everything we needed. It's very private and there are no neighbours, so it's perfect for a retreat. Guillaume showed and explained everything to us during check-in, so we felt right at home. It's a large but still comfortable place with lots of fun activities in and around the house. He even accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for us.

Marie-Claude is an outstanding host. We are 4 gravel friends who traveled the Alsace wine route for 4 days: here at the Gîte Rouge, we were welcomed like kings, and we were able to relax in a superb setting. Good discussions about Alsace, things to see, and also some good laughs with Francis (we say Franci in Alsatian😉), in short, a happy stop at Marie-Claude's.

In short: you couldn't ask for more! Myriam's hospitality is particularly remarkable. You feel welcome from the first moment in this beautiful chalet. The house is surrounded by greenery, in absolute peace. You can only hear birds chirping. Don't miss out on trying the homemade cheese; it's highly recommended. All nature lovers will find their happiness, at home as well as in the surroundings. Upon your return, you can enjoy the warm atmosphere of the house, where nothing is missing. I recommend it without hesitation; you will not regret it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Adriens place. it is cozy and you have everything you need. Adrien is a very friendly and helpful host, with lots of tips regarding the area. If you are looking for a quiet getaway we can only recommend staying here! :)

What a view! Watching the sunset from the jacuzzi and waiting for the stars to stand in the sky. Great location and a good starting point for walks in the surroundings. Please note that the nearest large supermarket is about a 20-minute drive.

A very nice apartment in a charming area. Everything was perfect: the welcome, Fabien's kindness, the cleanliness of the accommodation, the decoration... A very nice welcome gift: we were spoiled!

Perfect stay! The apartment is spacious, clean, very well arranged and as described. It is very functional, there are all the necessary machine utensils and in perfect quantity and has all the necessary basic amenities. The property is perfect for families. There is a large grounds, covered outdoor area, swimming pool as well as plenty of outdoor games/toys. Jean and Samia are responsive and very kind. We enjoyed a tagine and a seasonal cake made by Samia. The apartment is conveniently located for different excursions. We 200% recommend this listing.

Loved our stay! Michel is very welcoming, accommodating, and we felt at home right away. We really enjoyed the pastries and baguette left at our door every morning, the essentials for breakfast in the fridge (butter, milk, apple juice, other drinks and even homemade jam!), and just Michel's kindness. He even helped me with my suitcase to go up and down the stairs☺️. The apartment itself is very cute and cozy. It's big and it was cool despite the fact that it was warmer than normal for April, which was great! Its location is ideal, on a quiet street but close to everything (restaurants, cafes etc.). I would say the only downside is really minimal: adjusting the shower water temperature takes some time. It quickly changes from hot to cold when you try to adjust it so you have to go slowly. We would highly recommend!!

My friend and I stayed at Geny et Richard's accommodation for 6 nights in late May. Our hosts were extremely friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. Geny had a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us and stocked our fridge for next day's breakfast (and more!) because of our late arrival. She even walked us to our restaurant on our first evening and gave us a lift to the train station one morning for an early excursion departure. The house was extremely spacious, well equipped, with lots of natural light, and even prettier than in the pictures. The small balcony on the landing and the garden were delightful. The neighbourhood was quiet and private, with good access to busses and only a 15-20 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. The apartment might pose a challenge to people with limited mobility due to the number of stairs needed to reach both the first and second floors. But overall, a great spot to stay in Strasbourg. Thank you Geny et Richard for making our stay such an enjoyable one!

Nicole is a very warm hostess, open to all questions and gave very good tips for the area. The accommodation was really nice and cozy, with a very nice balcony. We felt very comfortable!

A lovely AirBnB that had everything we needed for two nights with our two kids. Daniela was super helpful and friendly and the location was great - there even happened to be a festival up the street on the evening we arrived! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I had a great stay in the apartment together with our baby. It is very cozy, so you feel right at home. The equipment is particularly noteworthy, it goes far beyond "standard equipment". The children were also thought of here. The contact with the hostess was very friendly and pleasant at all times. If we come back to the area, we would definitely choose this apartment again!

We were very warmly welcomed and guided directly through the rooms, which immediately gave us a good feeling. The accommodation was fully equipped – we especially liked the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. It really had everything you need. The outdoor area is a real highlight: the garden is very well maintained, invites you to relax and offers a fantastic view. Overall, the Airbnb is in a quiet residential area, which is very pleasant – but you should also be careful not to be too loud. The fitness equipment is a nice extra and completely sufficient for a small workout - but it could be oiled again :) We had a very nice stay overall and would definitely recommend the accommodation! Everything was right here.

We were a larger group and had a great stay all around! The welcome was extremely warm and friendly. The house has exceeded our expectations – it is very spacious, well equipped and offers a variety of ways to use. We all felt very comfortable and would love to come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

The accommodation was very nice, as described, we had many options, kicker, billiards, the large pool, whirlpool, a large meadow, table tennis, etc. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken, which was a bit annoying. Eve wanted to solve the problem, was very communicative, but unfortunately it didn't work. A little too little toilet paper and hardly any towels for drying were available. Otherwise, we were very happy with the place. The long weekend was very nice!

We (7 adults, 3 children and 1 dog) had - except for the weather, for which the landlord is not responsible - 3 wonderful days in the house Le Batelier. We were very warmly welcomed, received a tour of the whole house with a nice briefing in the kitchen, TV, etc. We felt right at home. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, even dishes and glasses are sufficiently available. 3 bathrooms - well equipped - 4 toilets, 5 bedrooms - with enough space for clothes, etc. - and everything very clean! On the day of departure, André was there on time at 10 a.m. as agreed. We can highly recommend this accommodation!!!

We were very satisfied with the apartment; very quiet, beautiful views and good amenities. You actually have everything you need for a nice time with family and friends. The hosts were very nice and also flexible when checking out. We would like to recommend them:-)

We loved the place during our stay! It is really beautiful, especially the master suite impressed us. It's a bit remote, but that's exactly what we wanted. A trip to Strasbourg was also possible, about a 50-minute drive. You just can't be on the road without a car😉 I'm sure we'll be back!

Perfect accommodation! We found it even better in real life than in the photos! Nothing was missing, everything was provided: bed linen, bathrobes, towels, slippers. Very responsive host! Everything is there for a wonderful stay! We'll be back if we have a chance! Go there with your eyes closed! You won't be disappointed!

The accommodation is of excellent quality: spacious, modern, very well equipped (petanque, sauna, barbecue, full kitchen...), in a quiet and green environment, a few minutes walk from the center of Corcieux. We had a lovely stay! Small downside, however, on the organization on arrival and departure. Upon our arrival, the crib, although requested, was not prepared. We had to wait for the manager, agreed between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., who finally arrived at 7:30 p.m. On the day of departure, her colleague showed up 45 minutes ahead of the agreed schedule, and took a seat in the living room while we finished tidying up. She was kind and polite, but it somewhat precipitated our departure. This does not affect the quality of the place, but leaves a slightly embarrassing impression at the end of the stay.
