Ehemaliges Fischerhaus über zwei Etagen mit privatem Innenhof. Architektonische Highlights im marokkanischen Stil. Gelegen im schönen, alten Ortskern von Salema. Der ausgezeichnete Strand ist weniger als eine Gehminute entfernt. Vom Eingang aus gelangt man in den offenen Küchen-, Wohn- und Essbereich mit Blick in den oasenhaften Innenhof, der mit hochwertigen Steinarbeiten ansprechend gestaltet ist. Ein kleiner dekorativer Pool (nicht zum Schwimmen) rundet das behagliche Ambiente ab. Mit einem Buch in der Hand und den Füßen im kalten Wasserbecken lässt es sich hier an heißen Sommertagen herrlich entspannen und in aller Ruhe Kraft tanken. Das Bad mit Doppeldusche und Dusch-WC befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die beiden offenen Schlafräume im Obergeschoss sind ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Queensize-Bett unter der gemütlichen Dachschräge. Jeder Schlafraum hat direkten Zugang zur Sonnenterasse mit Loungemöbeln. Herrliche Nachtruhe, man hört den Wind in den Palmen und entfernt die Brandung. Die Gäste haben Zugang zu allen Bereichen, da sie das gesamte Haus mieten. Für alle Fragen sind wir erreichbar (Mail und Telefon) und haben Leute vor Ort, die das Haus betreuen und behilflich sein können. Im Umkreis von 100 Metern befinden sich Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Verleih von Kajaks und Stand Up Paddling und ein Fischverkauf direkt nach Fang. Salema ist ein charmantes Fischerdorf, vom Strand aus werden Ausflüge mit dem Boot angeboten. Im Hinterland lockt der Gebirgszug Monchique mit heilenden Quellen. Weitere Aktivitäten sind Reiten, Yoga, diverse Wasser- und Freizeitparks, Wassersport wie Segeln, Jetski oder Surfen. Am Cabo de Sao Vincente lassen sich wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge erleben.

A variety of beautiful beaches with perfect surf conditions are close by (South- and West Coast) and the spot is almost next to the fisherman's trail. The two wooden houses, are set in a tranquil cork and eucalyptus environment. You'll be rewarded by leafy green grounds. The air is beautifully scented by the trees. As soon as you arrive, you can go for a swim in the azure pool or read a book on your terrace. As serene as you could hope to find, yet an easy drive from Wonderfull beaches in the south and the stunning beaches of the Costa Vincentina. A tranquil vibe at this friendly hideaway, bumping along the unpaved road to get there.

Off-grid cabin, experience Peace and Freedom.

Experience offgrid living, 2km down a bumpy track, a car is preferable although walking and Ubers are possible, buses are rare..6km from south coast and 15 from west to many stunning beaches ! 15km to Lagos for nightlife. My house is at other end of land where I’m available if needed, but cabin is private and has own entrance. everything is totally offgrid- water from a well and solar… kitchen and fridge with all you need… there is a caravan also for extra guests as my other listing.

Unsere Holz-Yourthe befindet sich auf einer Anhöhe inmitten von Olivenbäumen. Von der Terrasse aus schaut man in die Ferne und kann den Tag in der Natur ausklingen lassen. Die nächsten Strände wie Boca do Rio/ Salema sind mit dem Auto in weniger als 10 min erreichbar. Einkaufesmöglichkeiten gibt es im nächsten typisch portugiesischem Dörfchen. Der Naturpark "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina" zieht sich entlang der Küste und liegt direkt vor unserer Haustür.

Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay!! The place is beautiful and you feel very good in this house...Juergen was really warm and always attentive while remaining discreet! This week will remain in our memories... For beaches, they are plentiful and everyone can find the one they like there. We really enjoyed the city of Lagos which is not too far away by car. In short, recommend!!!

We absolutely fell in love with Portha Velha. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at home. The charming house is spacious and full of thoughtful touches. Set in a traditional village with a serene atmosphere, it’s the perfect escape from the busy world. There’s one little store and a cozy coffee place nearby that features traditional live music every Friday! The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a joy, and the orange juicer quickly became one of my favorite parts of the stay. The attic space is perfect for yoga or meditation as it can get quite warm upstairs. Despite that, the house stays pleasantly cool thanks to its thick brick walls. Portha Velha is also perfectly located for discovering the beautiful Algarve region—whether you’re heading to the coast, exploring local villages, or enjoying the countryside, everything is within easy reach. Nicki, the co-host, was fantastic—very responsive and easy to reach.
