Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bantry

We absolutely loved this cozy, impeccably clean house—so much so, we didn’t want to leave! My favorite part was enjoying coffee each morning with the beautiful view. The extra living space gave our family room to spread out, and the sinks in each bedroom were a great touch for keeping things organized. The beds and towels were soft and comfy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the brand-new washer and dryer (with detergent!). My kids loved exploring the area and heading to the beach. There’s a cute café down the road and a nice pub in town—just be aware that places close early, so plan meals ahead. We didn’t use the hot tub since it seemed a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, this was one of our favorite Airbnb stays!

We had a wonderful stay here, surrounded with hills and a quick drive to many little walks, the coast, interesting towns and about 1.5h from areas further afield such as the Ring of Kerry or Mizzen Head. The space itself is comfortable and clean, and was perfect for our visit (us + 2 young kids + 2 elderly parents) — being able to let the kids play outside is a real gift. Hot tub gets nice and hot and was a great treat to end the day. We had two families (9 people) staying for a special occasion. Ages from 12 to 90. The ground floor bedroom with balcony is stunning in the evening. There is so much outdoor space, the kids loved the little football pitch. The location was great, walking distance to the town, the beach and pitch & putt. We had a few queries coming up to the stay and during and all were responded to. We were very lucky to have stayed here.

A first rate accomodation in a wild and peaceful setting with a grand view of the "3 Sisters", Mt. Brandon and the wild Atlantic. High ceilings, lots of view windows including in the bedrooms and a fireplace. Great recreational loft space with TV, board games, foosball and darts. Hiking opportunities and the grand town of Dingle short minutes away by car.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (9 personnes) du 16 au 21 mai. Le logement est parfait : des chambres spacieuses, une cuisine bien équipée, et tout était très propre à notre arrivée. John est un hôte accueillant, réactif et serviable. Il a su répondre rapidement à nos demandes et nous a mis à l’aise dès le début. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement pour un séjour en groupe ou en famille.

We loved our stay ,it felt like home,we will deffo be back.The home was spacious,and very clean,the hot tub was a real bonus after a long drive,and to play a little music before bedtime was priceless.The doggies also were welcomed which we appreciated. The only downside we would have liked to stay longer🤸‍♀️😊🐕🐕🐕

We had a magical last-minute getaway at Goleen Harbour and couldn’t be more grateful to Shawn for accepting our booking on such short notice. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The tent was cozy and nestled in nature — peaceful, clean, and perfect for a reset. Evenings were spent around the campfire, sharing stories and laughs under a sky full of stars. The stargazing here is unreal — crystal clear and breathtaking. It felt like time slowed down. Waking up to birdsong and the fresh sea breeze was the cherry on top. Shawn was a fantastic co-host, always responsive and thoughtful. His passion for the place shines through. This stay reminded us that true luxury is about connection — with nature, with people, and with yourself. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a soulful escape from the noise of everyday life. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories.

Roisin’s home is AMAZING! The views from the house are phenomenal, and it is the perfect distance from downtown Dingle by car. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful and private getaway or a place with lots of adventure and things to do nearby, I would highly recommend!

Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. This was such a generous space for 7 adults and 4 children under 11. The weather was amazing so we made full use of the lovely back garden and its gas barbecue and in the evening the fire pit. The kitchen had every piece of equipment imaginable and loads of plates and cutlery etc The view out the back was the mountains out front the sea and further the Iveragh Penninsula in County Kerry. We had food from the food truck at the next door pub and lunch at O Neills in Allihies. Of course crab sandwiches with the wonderful Adrienne at Mc Cathy’s bar in Castletownbere. Walks to Cleanach and the Arches, swims at Travara and the cable car for some thrills. A special and generous place. (It would be wonderful if there were a safe off road path to the little beach or some provision by the county council to make the road more pedestrian friendly).

Another Wonderful Stay at Lazy Acre! This was our second visit to Lazy Acre in Rosscarbery, and it was just as lovely as we remembered. One of the main reasons we returned is because we can bring our dog, Skittles — it's such a dog-friendly spot, and he loves it as much as we do! The location is absolutely perfect — just a stone's throw from the beautiful Warren Beach and only a short walk into town, so everything you need is within easy reach. The area is peaceful and scenic, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. We had a lovely, restful stay with our family and felt right at home. Lazy Acre has become a special place for us, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay on the West Cork coast!

Our stay at Micheal's place was wonderfully peaceful and comfortable. The location was ideal for both the solitude of its remoteness and yet only a 10-15 min drive to the center of Killarney. The place is walking distance to the trail head of Mangerton Mountain as well as trails into Killarney National Park. We had a maintenance issue during our stay (things happen) but Michael dealt with it straight away and all was good. We hope Michael's place will be available during our next visit to Killarney.

A small piece of heaven. We have already booked for next year and that will be our third stay.

It's rare that somewhere is better than pictures and descriptions however this was the exception. The house was beautiful, spacious and in a great location. We were blown away when we arrived and couldn't believe that we got such a great deal. I have stayed in Kenmare multiple times in the past and this stood head and shoulders above the rest. I couldn't recommend staying here enough - you'll almost not want to leave the house it's that good.

We have fallen in love with Julie’s beautiful studio. Everything about the home is gorgeous, the house is so equipped, there are so many amenities and the pool and garden are fantastic. It’s definitely our favourite Airbnb that we’ve been to and we’ll definitely come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Would highly recommend. The house was spotless, very well kept. The beds were all extremely comfortable, all with fresh linen. The view was amazing. The house is right on the water. The gardens and estate was an excellent place to go for a wander and explore. Paul was an excellent host. We cant wait to come back again

This was a great Airbnb. Location about 1 mile outside of Killarney. Comfortable clean big. Airbnb is part of the Glen Eagle apartments behind the Brehon Hotel. You have to check in at the GlenEagle hotel which is next to Brehon. Kind of confusing, but we figured it out.

We spent an absolutely wonderful week in Julie‘s cottage. The cottage was so perfect. Everything was in place to make you feel right at home. It’s a stunning location with its own beautiful garden and pool, and very peaceful. Great area for walking and terrific restaurants nearby. Julie is a superb host and her caretaker was on hand and very helpful if we needed anything. But we wanted for nothing! Thank you again Julie for sharing your beautiful home with us. We cannot wait to come again.

Perfekte Lage um die Stadt und die Gegend zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Haus war in einem perfekten Zustand und wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Sauna ist gleich nebenan und man kann sie kostenlos benutzen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Lovely spacious and very clean house on a peaceful island in county cork. We spent 5 nights here for my mother in law’s birthday. Well located to explore the surrounding beaches, bays, islands and countryside. Unfortunately our fridge broke but the team were very quick to create solutions and then fix it. Very good communication from the Inish Beg team. Thank you

Fabulous place to stay, lots to see and do on the estate. We wished we had booked for longer and will definitely try and visit again.

We had such a gorgeous stay. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, the little private outside seating area was lovely. The pool was a big hit with the kids and it was great to have the whole thing to ourselves for the entire hour. We had many gorgeous walks in the grounds, my 10 year old daughter loved the fairy walk. Paul was very friendly and helpful, a perfect host. A truly magical place.
