Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bantry Bay

Stayed for a month with wife and kids. Excellent location. walkable to Woolworths for groceries. Many restaurants and bars nearby for a night out. BBQ grill in the backyard for a night in. Rooms are comfortable. AC heating and cooling work. Looks like the photos. Many kitchen appliances and amenities for cooking include several spices. Lots of options for coffee, instant, drip, press, Nespresso. Regular scheduled cleaning and gardening. Prompt host responses for any issue. Very quiet and narrow street. 2 parking spots. Completely dark at night (use your phone flashlight when walking at night). Strong door and safety features. Close proximity to UCT satellite campus with shuttle to main campus. Excellent for a long-term visitor. will stay again.

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

My group and I had an amazing stay at Russell's place in Capetown. The place was beautiful and had everything we could need for our 5 day stay. Any amazing and very modern space. Very few AirBnB look just like the photos and this place surpassed theirs. The privacy of the bedrooms with such an open concept was great and the outdoor garden terrace and rooftop was perfect. Definitely will stay here again.

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

A slice of heaven in Clifton 🌊 Staying at Susana's apartment was nothing short of magical. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach, with stunning views and the soothing sound of waves just steps away. Each morning, I watched locals and their dogs play on the sand, which brought such a vibrant, heartwarming feel to the area. But what truly captured me was the energy inside the apartment itself. There’s something about the space—its warmth, light, and thoughtful touches—that instantly made me feel both completely on holiday and completely at home. It’s rare to find a place that strikes that perfect balance. Susana was an exceptional host—friendly, warm, and incredibly clear in her communication, which made everything seamless from start to finish. I’m already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week at Saul’s cottage in Sea Point. So much thought has been put into all the little like a nutri bullet, coffee machine and air fryer in the kitchen and deck chairs, beach towels, cooler box, games, beach umbrella for the beach, to name a few! The cottage is in easy walking distance to amazing restaurants and grocery stores and also very easy to get to surrounding places of interest like the V and A and Camps Bay. We didn’t have a chance to meet Saul but Bella and Tigger checked in on us regularly and we enjoyed our cuddle sessions with them!

Michelle’s place was great , she’s a great host and knows how to communicate very well . Place was clean and really loved the welcome snacks . I would definitely love to come back

We had a fantastic stay at Lisa’s home which is very hospitable and very close to the coffee shops and restaurants. Lisa is responsive and very friendly - she was also very flexible with a special request we asked of her. This is a recommended stay and host and would love to stay again!!

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. It was absolutely the best place l’ve stayed in the world. Amazing home fantastic view. Every single detail was designed and been thought by roland. Nothing negative. l love everything about home. Ultra clean tidy and has everything l need. He offers for guest luxry home theatre system that l’ve never experienced in Airbnb home. Many thanks for everything. We stayed for a week and enjoyed Bruce’s place a lot. Perfect for a small family. Beautiful views and sunset! It’s a short but relatively steep walk down to camps bay (especially with children) but that’s wasn’t a problem for us. Easy access with car or Ubers (available at all times with no waiting time). Bruce was great to communicate with. Would recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay at the apartment! Everything was excellent, very well equipped, clean, and practical. The view was stunning, and the location was perfect, with grocery stores, shops, cafés, and restaurants all nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend it to others.

Bruce's AirBnb was perfect! Super clean and close to many shops and restaurants. We received lots of recommendations from Bruce which were very helpful. It was super cozy and we LOVED the balcony where you can enjoy the views with your coffee or tea. I would recommend this AirBnb to anybody visiting Cape Town!

Fantastic views. Comfortable bedrooms and great ablutions. Close to many restaurants and for sports mad world class promenade to run awesome swimming pool to train and great cycling routes. Happy space for the fat triathletes and people who love sea sunsets

Darrens apartment is really great. Ideally located in Sea Point, very close to shops and restaurants and very easy to access the rest of Cape Town. Easy to check in and the apartment is nice and clean, all the useful facilities listed and even bottle of wine, some coffee and milk capsules for when we arrived. Very comfortable bed. Beach towns provided. Strong WIFI. A really really great stay, it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks very much Darren!

I had the most incredible stay! The apartment is beautifully styled, modern, super clean, and the XL bed is so comfortable. But what truly stood out was the sunset view, even in the middle of winter. Watching the sun dip below the ocean from the balcony, with the sky turning shades of pink and purple, was pure magic and a highlight of our stay. Tanya was so responsive, and made check-in and out a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, it’s the perfect Cape Town escape. I’ll definitely be back!
