Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Banks County

Cyd’s cottage is one of those places that you just NEED to book. It’s truly beautiful- the pictures do not do it justice, nor do my words. I felt such peace while my family and I were there. The sunrises and sunsets were *so wonderful*. The birdwatching was a highlight for me. The cottage is decorated with exceptionally beautiful antiques in each room- I could go on and on about this place. I’m truly grateful for the visit my family and I had at Cyd’s cottage.

The house is peaceful and comfortable, and it’s close to numerous stores so you can get whatever you may need. We didn’t use the kayaks on the dock, but it was nice to have the option to use them if we had wanted to. If you take the walk down the stretch of stairs to the dock, you’ll find that it’s the only dock in the little alcove, which makes it feel pretty secluded. Finally, the internet speed is really great if you need to do some work, play games, etc. Maureen was also very helpful, communicative, and accommodating to our individual situation.

We had a nice stay! The house was just as described—nothing fancy or luxurious, but it had all the basics we needed. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials, and the accommodations were comfortable. It’s a solid spot if you’re looking for a simple, no-frills place to stay.

It was nice and peaceful. A pretty small place for the price. The hot tub was nice and the pet area would be really awesome if you needed a place for a dog. The hot tub was clean. The master bed was comfortable. The guest bed was not my daughter slept on the couch the last 2 nights. No dishwasher an ac doesn’t work the best. They also is no kitchen table.

This place is Amazing! Cutely decorated! I always forget H2O when I’m on a short trip but there were plenty in the fridge upon arrival. Awesome variety on the Coffee and snack bar. Loved the variety of toiletries for women & MEN! ( I think hubby found a new soap he likes because it smells so good)🙂 Loved the plentiful washcloths & towels. Our Fur baby loved the fenced in back yard, toys and treats! They always responded very quickly with any questions we had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

This mountain cabin rental was exactly as advertised. The description and photos matched the actual property. Brittany was terrific to deal with and was proactive in providing us with needed information in advance. This was a fun place to stay, and the lower level with pool, darts, other games, etc. was a nice way to spend a rainy evening. This was a good value and fair price for the property. Highly recommended.

Super cute house in a very safe and walkable neighborhood. It is an older house but it has been well renovated and it looks as if there will be more renovations ongoing. Very comfy king bed and nice shower set up. So close to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center and other medical specialists. Easy access to downtown restaurants as well. Publix and Kroger grocery stores nearby. Friendly and communicative host and cohost. Pet friendly as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Came into town for work. I really enjoyed stay here. Very quiet and close to town.

William was an outstanding host, not only in the house and check-in instructions, but also having the house feel warm and welcoming to our us and our friends. They had snacks and cookies waiting for us even! The house and pool were gorgeous with great views of the lake and we couldn’t think of a better place to spend our vacation. There was plenty of space for us to relax and ample accommodations for me and our guests. Thank you, William, for such a great experience!

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Such a beautiful home and place. We enjoyed the stay! The pool was by far our favorite just wish we had better weather to enjoy it further. Great customer service. We accidentally set the fire alarm off one night and she didn’t hesitate to message to make sure everything was okay.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Teresa and Michael’s beautiful home for a weekend wedding at a nearby vineyard, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by Teresa, Michael, and their adorable dog Jack! Their home is spacious, spotless, and full of charm. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the generous gift of fresh, free-range eggs from their hens — such a lovely touch! After the whirlwind of the wedding, we were so grateful to be able to unwind by their stunning pool area, especially since they kindly let us stay past checkout time (as no other guests were arriving that day). It was exactly the kind of peaceful, restorative moment we needed with our loved ones. Thank you, Teresa and Michael, for your hospitality, kindness and for making this weekend extra special for our entire family!

The camper was very clean and the porch was a great addition. It was a perfect location for myself, two kids and our dog. The amenities of the resort were great - my kids loved the waterslide. The location of the resort is great as well - very close to hiking, Helen, grocery stores and restaurants (the on site diner was closed while we were there). Donna was very helpful and responsive with any questions. If you go in the summer, bring a portable fan if you have anyone sleeping on the pullout couches - they also weren't the comfiest, but were a great option. Thanks Donna!

Our visit to Helen was perfect. The kids loved the games, the pool area and even the hot tub after a long hike. Everything was clean upon arrival and cozy! Recommend Ashley’s home highly. The proximity to Helen is great. We also went to Babyland in nearby Cleveland (kids) and Clarksville for bowling and antique stores!

We enjoyed our stay in Helen. The property was easy to access and close to everything. The home was as depicted in the listing, and Dale checked to see if we needed anything. It was in a private, gated community and very quiet.

Beautiful home in a nice scenic area, but within a 10 minute drive to local shops and restaurants. Perfect location for a refresher.

One of the best places I have ever stayed in. The host was very polite and I would most definitely stay here again.

Exactly the quiet retreat we needed after several days of hectic travel. We sat on the porch overlooking the pond drinking our morning coffee and enjoying the peace of it all. The cell phone service was spotty but the internet connection was great, so if needed we could receive and make calls via wireless phone service. Truthfully it was great to be a little disconnected.

We had a great stay here! Very peaceful and quiet. Abbie and her husband stopped by to check on us and were incredibly friendly.

Clean and easy to check in. Very comfortable beds! Very very responsive host! We had an issue that was not any fault of theirs and they went over and above to help remedy it.

Loads of character, bright and cheery. Host was super friendly and stocked the place with snacks and drinks. Very clean with plenty of towels and linens. Love all the farm animals. Great place to bring your dog with plenty space to roam.

The house was a great place to stay for a quick weekend getaway! Bathroom was a little small but was still great for what we needed the rental for! Our host Rose was great. Very quick to respond to my text/email. Would rent again!
