The Maltings

MoiraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Simpathetically converted malt house in a peaceful setting. Good sized house with absolutely brilliant garden that had plenty space for the dogs to run around. Comfy beds with fresh linen, towels, robes and slippers. Well stocked kitchen with thoughtful welcome gift. Cozy lounge with plenty logs for the burner. Great little study space for those that still have to do a bit of work. Hot tub clean with non-slip rubber mats around it. Unfortunately, more careful attention needed from cleaning team in places, which was disappointing - for the money, perfection expected. Warning for fellow townies - go less than walking pace along the track to prevent the underside of your car getting scraped, unless you drive a land rover. Also, the bins are located at the end of the road, so stinky rubbish needs to go in the car - too far to carry it. We're not precious about our car but our son flatly refused to take it in his new car!

Braeside Cottage, cosy 2 bedroom cottage.

Beth Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Fabulous Family Holiday Home with Hot Tub

NikkiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

The Garden Cottage W/ Hot Tub

AinsleyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Fabulous last minute find. The cottage has clearly just been decorated throughout to high standard. Communication was excellent with Sharon on booking. Ideal base for exploring north east Scotland. Local supermarket and take aways only few mins away. Garden was big and enclosed. Ideal for kids and the dog. Hot tub was a great added bit of luxury. Cottage felt very comfortable and spacious. Owners very thoughful on extras provided. Nice little touches. Would definitely stay here again.

Cosy cottage in Cairngorms with hot tub and sauna

XanderRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place saved our holiday! We were camping in the Cairngorms and ended up with a catastrophic failure of our tent on the second night. Booked this beautiful cottage at 3:30am and checked in just over 12 hours later! Communication from Laura was fab, and she was always on hand with any queries we had. Delightful little cottage, and the bonus of a hot-tub and sauna made for a very different holiday than we had planned in a soggy tent. Would highly recommend, and would certainly look to go back if we stay in this part of Scotland again

Glenlivet@Bluefolds, Moray, Cairngorms, Scotland

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Bluefolds for my Dad's 70th. The view from the property is spectacular and ever changing, and you'd never get bored of that alone! Sue was a wonderful host, very welcoming and proactive. The accommodation has everything you could need for a stay there. Take your walking boots, make sure your pets are treated for ticks (as its on a sheep farm), and have an incredible time :)

Cosy cottage by the sea

RosaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here for two nights before our return to the states to relax from our three weeks in Scotland. Pictures do not do it justice. So close to restaurants and pubs in town and the beach. Small lovely town and everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Next time I will spend more time here!

It is a lovely cottage with so much character and charm. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for groups of 5-6 people. The shower is good and hot and the views are stunning! We were 6 adults and having one bathroom was not ideal but we made it work and you should too! The perfect place to visit in hopeman

Great stay, great location, everything we needed. We recommend a walk or two on the Speyside Way, Mash Tun in Aberlou is a great place to refuel, as is the Highlander right across from the cottage. And very nice of Michelle to provide a wee jug of whisky in the cottage

Forglen Estate -Garden Bothy Hideaway

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful place to retreat to. My wife and I felt very much "at home" in the Garden Bothy and our old greyhound thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds. Exceptionally clean with everything needed for a week away and the welcoming basket with the individual shortbread biscuits was much appreciated. No guarantees but we did see a cheeky red squirrel a mystery Highland Coo.

Coastal cottage near dog friendly pub

AlexandriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Peppermill Cottage is a real gem of a find. Whitehills and the surrounding local villages are absolutely gorgeous. Add to this miles upon miles of coastline and countryside right on the doorstep and you're in for a treat. The cottage itself is well equipped and was squeaky clean for our arrival. We loved the sunny ourdoor space for lazy mornings with a coffee before heading out. Alison was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Couldn't ask for more!

Driftwood Cottage - a traditional fisher cottage

MariaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wendy's cottage was a real gem. It was better than we expected. The instructions to find the key were very clear, so it was easy to get in. There was parking right outside the cottage. The heating was on when we arrived on a cold day, and the cottage was warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable, with extra blankets to use. There was a washing machine and dryer to use, which was great for us as we were moving around the country and needed somewhere for our laundry. The local pub was within walking distance, as were the Co-op, restaurants, and cafes. Wendy had left a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, and breakfast items and has thought about the needs of those staying at her property. Everything we needed was there. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Wendy.
