Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Ban Tai

This has been my second stay at the property. The rooms are great, based on numerous, consistent good qualities, e.g. location, space, cleanliness, service, tranquility, which are also mentioned by others. The host, Laurent is consisently responsive, available to provide solutions to make the stay experience comfortable. And special thanks to the staff team who are always kind, accommodating, and efficient.

The place was beautiful, a wonderful room, very large, clean, equipped with all comforts including bathtub and shower. In general, the residence was very nice and elegant, with a swimming pool overlooking the sea and a private beach. Georgy has always been available and easily reachable, giving us information and responding to any request. I absolutely recommend it!

This place was perfect to be honest. We had been staying in hotels prior but booked this one to have a bit more privacy. The pictures are exactly how you see it. It’s a flat but it has to be the best one in there because it’s like something you would see in Mykonos. Anyway, beautiful flat located 5 min drive from Fisherman’s village and 15 min drive from Chaweng beach.

Absolutely gorgeous location with a balcony that has an 180 ocean view you'll never get tired of. The pool is really nice, decent size with the same beautiful view. Quiet and relaxing area, the hill is quite steep and makes for some good exercise. Apartment has a thought through layout and is equipped with relatively modern well working appliances (AC, TV, Showers, Internet, etc.) Philipp and Suwamin were absolutely lovely hosts. Very helpful, proactive and reliable with great and timely communication. If you're looking for something quiet and peaceful where you don't need to leave the apartment I absolutely recommend!

Stay was very good, very easy and flexible check-in and the hostess was always available by phone and very friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily and water etc. were provided Pool was also great and was cleaned daily. Overall stay was really very good, only had good experiences with the property.

Absolute pleasure staying here. The place was clean and the view was beautiful. Martin is a superb host who went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay memorable.

Nice place in a quiet spot just 5 minute walk from Koh Mah beach and best snorkel spot on Koh Phangan. The place was super clean. Nice and mondern with nice view. Kitchen is great for long stays. Well equipped with nice size fridge, utensils and industrial blender for ice smoothies. The stove is gas and didn't start so the host advised us to go purchase some matches or lighter. They had 2 rolls of TP for the first 5 days and we were advised we could purchase more at the grocery store. So for those things you may want to bring your own. AC works great, remember that you pay extra for your electricity. Wifi was ok at 20mb-ish. So sometimes video calls and tv would be affected if you work remotely. We could not get the microwave to heat even though it's 'on' so we just didn't use it. You will definitely need a scooter/taxi to get around unless you're just going to the beach. Can rent close by. Limited food options near unless you're eating at one of the resorts. Host is very nice!

we are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers (14 and 17 years old) and we had a great time staying 5 days in koh phsngan using the house as a base to visit the island. we had our own car the house is very well located ( a bite steap at the start 😋) close to haad Yao beach with a lot of nice restaurants ( Pura Vida, Cocoloco, Buba). the team was very responsive and helpful all the time, always giving good advise on where / what to do. the pictures describing the house matches reality and the view is very beautifull ! we recommend sunset around 0630 pm , Magic !!

The helpful nature of the housekeeper helped us in many things. She offered us breakfast and brought us to every desired place. Also, the house with the view was very nice. Only on the way to the accommodation something should be done. Even taxi drivers don't want to go up because he has huge potholes and stones.

In a word: wow! The place was just beautiful. Everything was right: from the welcoming reception, the well-kept and beautifully planted path to the villa, the clean and beautifully landscaped pool, the gigantic view of the sea from the terrace, the stylishly furnished living and sleeping area, the comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The accommodation left nothing to be desired. The hosts are incredibly nice, accommodating, helpful and available at any time. They were there to help us with arrival and departure, personally present with check-in and check-out, and made great recommendations for the area! Thanks again for that :) We would always sleep here, would have preferred to stay longer and will recommend the place to friends and family. See you soon, hopefully:)

Peaceful property surrounded by nature. Not straight into the busy areas but still a great location where you will be 5 to 10min of scooter away from pretty much everything. Highly recommended !

The accommodation definitely exceeded our expectations! The location is really outstanding, far enough away not to notice any noise nuisance, close enough to walk to the surrounding bars/cafes. You feel in the middle of the jungle here:) The rooms and the bathroom were great. We felt very comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was very friendly, attentive, and proactive, always ready to help with any questions and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. Great location and a smooth check-in/check-out process. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. Far enough away from everything that it’s very peaceful at night. If you rent a bike this place is absolutely ideal. Plenty of parking. The room was great. Very quick response time with any inquiries. Also they had a clean arranged for me within 24 hours as requested. Will definitely stay again

The Apartment was in a great location. You could walk to the beach, the convenience store, and various restaurants. We had been staying in many hotels on this trip, and getting an apartment was a GREAT decision. The place had an oversized couch, a comfy bed, and a washer machine, but most of all, there was LOTS of room to spread out as opposed to a cramped hotel room for the same price. It had easy parking for our rented motorbike, which was a plus. We will definitely stay here next year as well.

This place was so beautiful and had everything we needed. The host was amazing at replying to messages and greeted us when we arrived. We had a moped so it was super easy to get to lovely beaches and restaurants which there were many of. I’d definitely stay here again for the price and quality😄

I have zero complaints. Great place with everything you need. Area seems to be developing but everything you need is within a 10 minute walk

Great compact condo at the best beach on Koh Samui. The complex has everything you could wish for during your stay. Leonie and Barton were great hosts too!

I really enjoyed my stay at DB Studios. The place was exactly as described and the pictures. It was peaceful and I enjoyed hearing the birds outside my balcony. My room was facing the entrance with a balcony which also had a view of the pool and guest lounge area. The location was in a good spot in Lamai. I was able to walk to almost everything. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you. :)
