Beate home is truly a "home away from home". Each day I went into Durban, I looked forward to getting home. The home is tastefully designed. She just bought a new wooden table for 6. All the wood in the house matches the lush garden that you're surrounded by. :-) Anything you can possible need is in the home. Beate is also lovely enough to get whatever you may need. Walking distance to anything you need. I really enjoy this home!

Our family's stay at Dawn's seaside home was absolutely amazing. From the moment we booked, Dawn's communication was exceptional, providing clear instructions while genuinely caring about our needs. When we arrived, the place was pristine, like a brand new home prepared just for us. Check-in was easy, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stress-free stay. The amenities exceeded our expectations, from the fully equipped kitchen to the plush towels and high-quality bedding. Dawn's home is a dream for those seeking tranquility, and yet conveniently near attractions and restaurants. The value we received was outstanding, with comfort, views, and exceptional hospitality. Dawn went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Our experience at Dawn's retreat was unforgettable. It's a place where family memories are made and you yearn to return. Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful cottage. Very neat and clean. Exactly as mentioned in the ad. The hosts are brilliant. I enjoyed my stay and really felt at home. I highly recommend this place.

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful place, cozy and neat. You will not regret it.

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

My kids and I enjoyed our stay. The office area was useful as well. The kitchen was well equipped and had cooking oil and essential herbs and spices which are easily forgotten when going to a self catering property but it was there which was a bonus for me.

Stephanie was extremely welcoming and open to suggestions regarding our pets when we have to leave them whilst we were attending to shooping etc. She communicated everything well and was easy to talk to. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

One of my best stays

Wonderful spot with the most gorgeous panoramic sea views – perfect spot to sit on the patio in front of the infinity pool looking for dolphins (which we saw!). Well equipped self-catering home that is pet-friendly and was the ideal accommodation for my family (and 2x dachshunds). Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.

Aleks is an awesome host, she thinks of all the small things that we will need, that's what made our stay great, we felt very much at home. The only downside to this beautiful home is the driveway, it's very narrow and steep and a challenge to get up. Our stay was really really great, thank you Aleks...

The apartment was clean, private and peaceful. The host was very helpful and checked in on us during our stay and was very friendly. This was a great spot for us for the Comrades marathon. I would definitely visit again

We had the most amazing stay at Donna’s house in Salt Rock! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and with shops conveniently close by. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, set in a lovely and peaceful area that made our stay so relaxing. The pool was divine — perfect for cooling off and enjoying the sunny days. We truly felt at home here and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!

The house was just magnificent, great location and amazing sea views. Everything was just spot on in that house. Jax was a great host and the weather was just amazing, kept us up till late at night enjoying sea breeze. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who enjoys serene environment with amazing views and beautiful house in general.
