Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ballarat Central

Lady Marmalade has quickly become a favourite for our annual girls trip. It’s cozy, close to the shops and a beautiful house. We look forward to our visit every year. James is a great host and very friendly and responsive.

This is a beautiful house in the peaceful neighbourhood that has a close proximity to all you need in Daylesford e.g. supermarket and town area. We highly recommended! Andrew is also proactive and provided a clear instructions and communication for our stay.

We had a lovely stay. Check in was easy. It’s a cosy, clean and comfortable space. We loved all the wonderful art around the property. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi on the deck. It was a short walk into town and just around the corner from the Mill market. We could hear our neighbours easily but they weren’t there for the whole weekend.

Very nice little house. With all that we needed. Michelle is super kind and responsive.

We booked this stunning Daylesford house for our best friend’s 40th — and WOW, what a weekend! The vibes were immaculate, the house was beyond gorgeous, and we spent three days laughing, grazing, and sipping Prosecco like queens. Perfect for a girls’ getaway and milestone celebration!

Jennifer and David’s house is a fabulous place to stay in Daylesford! The house itself is modern, clean, spacious, has excellent amenity, and special bonus features including pool, spa and sauna! Communication was easy, always prompt and informative. Will be back. Highly recommend!

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.

Great location, near shops and the house was so beautiful. Only issue we had was we found it difficult to get hot water despite following the instructions left. It also gets a bit hot in the rear rooms in summer but nothing a few open windows cant fix. Thanks for allowing us to have a wonderful weekend.

We stayed in the cottage for two nights over the Ballarat Marathon weekend. It was very convenient to the town centre and very comfortable. Most importantly the cottage is dog friendly and we were able to bring our two dogs with us to stay. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings very quiet. The dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay but Sue advised us before we arrived so we weren’t caught off guard . Overall a good stay.

We had a great stay at Daylesford Country Retreats. The accommodation was just as described and as per the photos. The beautiful scenery around the property made our stay so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

Emma’s place was fantastic. We all fit very comfortably and location was perfect for walking to get breakfast or dinner and Emma was very helpful. Would gladly stay again :)

We have waited a while to stay at Stonehenge and it was worth the wait. It was peaceful, cosy and very comfortable. All the amenities were great and everything was of great quality. Andreana was terrific with communication and lovely to deal with. I hope we get the opportunity to spend some more time there.

This is our second stay at Andy and Pauls place. It was just as awesome as our first stay. The place is clean, warm, comfortable and well thought out. We felt right at home within the beautiful surroundings of Daylesford.

The host was attentive and thoughtful, even providing extra towels, which was incredibly helpful. The location was convenient, and the amenities made our stay enjoyable and stress-free. We really appreciated the hospitality and the little touches that made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to others and consider staying again!

Extremely comfortable apartment in a great location, just a short stroll to town and all the shops/pubs/cafes. We stayed during the Kings Birthday weekend which was cold and wet and absolutely loved the fire and how cosy it was! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shelley’s. Checkin was easy and her place was clean, comfy and homely. Our stay was very brief but Shelley’s kitchen looked really well set up for anyone looking to enjoy a longer trip.

A beautiful getaway in the country! This home is so cozy and inviting, the photos don’t do it justice. There is plenty of wildlife that come through the property which is an added bonus. The home was clean and had everything you needed and more. Janneke was such a great host, friendly, responsive and so welcoming. Can’t wait to rebook!

We stayed at Pip's place for my 25th birthday girls trip and it was nothing short of amazing! Pip provided everything we needed from clean linen, little soaps & shampoos like they have at hotels, and a cosy warming fire complete with all the wood we needed! Thank you Pip! Thank you Vincent for allowing us to hold our tiny elopement in your home and garden. Although the house is not quite as "fancy" as the staged and edited photos gave the appearance of it being, it ended up being the perfect cosy getaway for relaxing family time. My new wife and I enjoyed a magical two days here with our loved ones, and appreciated the comfort and cosiness of the house and amenities. The beds were delicious and warm even though one night dropped to -1, and the central heating was delicious. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless, and all beds arranged exactly as we had requested. Vincent was also extremely responsive to all of our questions ahead of time and even welcomed us along to visit the house beforehand to help us with our planning. Vincent was a gracious host and if we ever have a family gathering again we'd love to stay here. Being able to walk to pubs, cafes, and even Coles also made York House extremely convenient for all!

We had a fabulous stay at Deb’s house - it’s a real gem. It’s clean and comfortable and close to everything Hepburn Springs has to offer. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch too!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bluegums retreat, it was so cosy and peaceful and we enjoyed seeing the kangaroos out the back. Geoff ensured a smooth check in and provided lots of suggestions over the weekend. It’s only a short 5 min drive into Daylesford.
