Apartment holiday rentals in Balkans

As often described, the apartment has two wonderful, well-equipped terraces, partly with sea views which we enjoyed extensively. The apartment is in close proximity to the clean city beach, the old town and many bars and restaurants. We slept very well and the apartment is above average well equipped. Only the walk from the parking lot in the heat with a large amount of luggage and the narrow stairs may be a problem for older people. Marco is extremely responsive and has given us many good recommendations, including the routes. This made our vacation even more beautiful. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to come back. We have always been well taken care of and felt comfortable.

Apartment is wonderful! Centrally located in a beautiful, historic part of Athens with plenty of restaurants nearby. Charis allowed us to check in very early which was great after arriving at 6am. Photos are slightly misleading as the bigger balcony shown is actually a shared rooftop but overall, wonderful apartment. Other reviewers mentioned a smell in the bathroom which was present when we went but otherwise, apartment was really great for a short stay. Charis’ property manager sent us a bunch of recommendations which were all delicious. Thanks, Charis!

We had a great time at Christos & Antouella’s place! It was very walkable to downtown Naousa! ~only about a 6-7 min walk! It had a beautiful view & everything we needed for our stay! Christos was extremely responsive to our questions & had a lot of helpful local recommendations! Definitely would recommend!!!

From start to finish, our stay was absolutely brilliant. Marika was lovely and helpful for us throughout- altered the check in time due to our early arrival from the ferry. She left us bathing towels and Mats for us to use at the beach- we didn’t expect, but came in very handy. The flat was stunning- beautiful views from the window and front patio, literally a stone throw to the beach- incredible. The place was peaceful and In walking distance to the more lively areas around Skala. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend. Thanks for having us.

I can recommend Gigi's apartment 100%! The communication was great, clear and pleasant from the start. The furnishings corresponded to the pictures and were supplemented by loving, local products (including honey, jam). There was a daily cleaning service and the location was perfect for exploring the island. ☺️ Great value for money and always worth a trip!

We had a fantastic holiday based at Jane’s apartment. The location is perfect. Beautiful views of Isola Bella. Handy for the beach there down steps across from the apartment We took the stairs a few times to Taormina centre. Quite steep but doable. Cable car handy for the town centre (10 euros return trip) as was the local bus which was less expensive. Communication with Jane was great. She was very helpful before our trip and during. Provided plenty of useful information on the area /transport etc. Jane’s son William was a great help too with organising a boat tour including diving, a wine tour and a godfather tour. All were fab trips! The apartment itself was a home from home. It was very spacious , comfortable and clean. Cafe Ai Paladini downstairs was good for coffee and croissants. Jane provided a lovely welcome basket with plenty in it. A lovely touch. Would definitely recommend Jane as a host and the apartment itself. Would love to return again!

I can not say enough good things about this place. Took our breath away. Had everything we needed and more. Manuela is the best communicator and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! We were so sad to leave! If you are wondering if you should book it- don’t hesitate. You will have lifetime memories that feel like a dream. Thank you so much for sharing your spot with us!!!!

I am very sensitive about hygiene. When I entered the house, I called them and asked, "Is the floor of the house clean enough to be stepped on without shoes?" They also said that they were very sensitive and assertive about cleanliness, especially wearing white socks and walking. Indeed, I encountered a house that was spotless from top to bottom, not even the slightest speck of dust in the cupboards. There were plenty of towels and linens, and they were all clean. In addition, the view of the house is far above the ordinary, you want time not to pass while sitting on the balcony. Seagull sounds, ferry sounds, city sounds, bridge, maiden's tower, Cihangir's terraces, a view that makes you feel the spirit of Istanbul to your bones. The house was elegantly, simply and spaciously decorated. I even recommended it to a few friends by sharing the ad. I would also like to thank them for their hospitality.

It is a very spacious and modern apartment In a quiet location but everything is still close We were there only 3 nights but it can be 14 nights without problems

Fortunate to have 11 nights in the Royal apartment. Suzana looked after us as Jadranka was away. Both though were responsive when needed assistance. As described in the listing with wonderful views across Lapad bay. There are 4 apartments in the complex along with the Hosts accommodation. Romantic apartment is at the top same level as pool area. Next down was the Royal, Harmony a few steps further down and Marine the lowest. All very private and didn’t hear any unnecessary noise from other guests. 61 steep steps from street to apartment door and the shower is in the hydro bath so a bit of a high step there. My wife was a bit hesitant as she has had a hip replacement couple of years ago but found a routine! Using the elevators at nearby More and Kompas hotels to get back from the promenade was a good handy hint! Amenities were good. Some instructions would be helpful especially using the appliances. Magnificent in everything! Great taste in decor. Very central location, two lovely terraces. The staircase is a bit challenging to climb, but like all beautiful things, you have to work hard to reach them. Thank you Valentina for sharing your nest in the center of Palermo!

Fantastic apartment. Everything met expectations, the apartment was more than perfect in terms of location, amenities and cleanliness. The view is phenomenal. The communication with Sara & Bora was excellent at all times, I always received quick and helpful information at short notice. The apartment is highly recommended without reservation.

We loved this location - it was exactly what we wanted, and perfect for the two of us. Monastiraki is a great location - a base for exploring the history of Athens, the busy flea market, plenty of restaurants. Things to bear in mind: this is on the seventh floor at the top of a building, and the lift goes to the sixth floor, but the view is worth the extra stairs; it’s a busy neighbourhood, with lots of night life, so expect to hear some music from the adjacent attic bar, although this really didn’t bother us (shut the windows!). The host was very responsive and exceptionally helpful - we appreciated the guides to neighbourhoods, eating places, etc. All in all we loved the location, the lay-out of the premises, the character of the apartment. We would definitely try to stay here again if available.

Manolis' place is very special and we were so happy to stay for a week. We immediately connected to the lovely, warm space, surrounded by his Grandmother's artwork and the handmade ceramics. The location is spectacular and the bay is protected. The outdoor deck is wonderful and sunny and we enjoyed swapping travel stories with our neighbours. Manolis goes above and beyond and is without doubt the best Airbnb host we have ever encountered. He met us at the ferry, assisted us with car hire and settled us into the house in person. The house is filled with lots of treats, including homemade sweets. Later during our stay he showed us around the family pottery laboratory (Lempesis Ceramics) and also the gallery which was an absolute highlight of our stay. Arriving home with our handmade ceramics has been a fabulous reminder of a truly unforgettable holiday. We will definitely be back and cannot wait!

This AirBNB is a great find! Cute, clean, and a great view off the patio. It is a studio suitable for 2 people to stay comfortably. It is located close to lots of landmarks, restaurants, coffee stops, and the metro station in an easily walkable and safe area. The host arranged transportation from the airport for us and the driver pointed out lots of landmarks along the way in. A representative met us at check in to detail how to get in/out of the building, how to navigate the metro, and gave us a map with lots of things to do in the area.

What a lovely stay! The view from the terrace was amazing, the apartment was cozy and spotless, and the hosts were absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended!

Unreal. The most amazing place that we’ve had the chance to stay in absolutely loved it. It’s literally breathtaking and the hot tub with the view is a vibe. The view from this apartment may even be better than a lot of the best rooftop bars in Athens. Gina was awesome ❤️ She’s extremely helpful, kind, and she made an already awesome stay even better with her welcoming personality. Not enough great things can be said about this place we loved our stay I would highly recommend the place to everyone.

We had just a fantastic time in Gijrokastër and the appartment was a big part of it. The garden is so lovely and the view breath taking! The family is so nice and friendly, they helped with parking and getting our stuff inside. The breakfast was so yummy, with „home grown“ Eggs and goats milk. It’s a 10min walk to the castle, we had our bicycles which is also fine. Absolute recommendation just like all the other reviews!

Manolis was very friendly and welcoming—he welcomed us in person, gave us a bottle of wine and water as a welcome. His place is beautiful looking out toward the east of the island with a gorgeous view and lovely jacuzzi. It was a beautiful and modern location to stay. The location is in Pyrgos Kallistis, a quieter village high up on Thira (Santorini) island with panoramic views of the island. About a ten minute walk into town where there are many delicious cafes and restaurants as well as the bus stop to get into more touristy parts of the island. I would recommend renting a vehicle if staying here as the bus is relatively infrequent and unreliable. All in all a wonderful stay thanks to a beautiful location and hospitable host!

We stayed here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, our first holiday without the children! We could not have picked a better place ☺️ The apartment was spotless with the most incredible view across the sea from the leafy veranda and hot tub, so romantic ❤️ And loads of little touches in both the kitchen and bathroom, plus a comfy bed and effective air con 😅 Gina was so responsive and helpful with all my questions before we even arrived and gave loads of recommendations & met us there. The location is great, about a 40 minute walk or an easy direct bus trip to the old town from right by the apartment, we walked it most days cause we’re quite active. We were so happy we stayed outside the old town cause it was very busy with tourists and expensive, and by the port where we were was much quieter and a beautiful view. I was so happy we picked this place as it really was what made our stay in Dubrovnik perfect, I would recommend to everyone. Thanks guys!x

we loved our stay here. modern and clean, and plenty of space for 2 people! tons of good restaurants right around the corner. walking distance to metro and so many other things. it is 3 flights of stairs up, but the view of the acropolis is worth it!

This is an excellent place, its luxurious, private and has excellent facilities and the view is stunning, we use dthe Gym, pools and Sauna which are all really great. The place is spotless, and Ivo and Minja are very helpful. If you are looking for an escapare for a few days to relax, then this is the place, 10 mins from the airport, amazing views over Mlini Bay, where there are restaurants and bars, and you can simply hop on a ferry which will take you to Dubrovnik Old Town in about 30 mins. locations also accessible if you interested in some road trips which we did to Bosnia and Montenegro - a great place, great hosts - Thank You - Noel & Caitriona !
