The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would like to have noticed by the description that the outside area is far from the house.

After 5 nights spent in this beautiful place I had a hard time leaving it... I got depressed and cried so much this place is perfect, that's to say! In fact, if I could buy this property, I would do it without hesitation 💫 Honestly, I'm still shocked by this breathtaking view... whether you're in bed, on the terrace, in the hot bath or in the pool, it's just sublime, incredible, bewitching... I don't have enough adjectives to describe this place, all I know is that I would like to go back as soon as possible ✨️ PS: remember to buy something to make a fire for the barbecue and the brazier (with marshmallows)

The house is very beautiful and is as advertised. The location is perfect, very close to Caminha but in a more secluded area surrounded by nature. Elisabete was very attentive and everything went very well, with a lot of flexibility on her part. I'd love to come back! It's a perfect place to rest.

It was an amazing experience, better than we expected! We were looking for a quiet place for a weekend and Quinta das Tendas was undoubtedly a great option, the silence of nature is what dominates the space! The conditions are impeccable, everything was as described in the listing. Mr. Luís is very friendly and helpful. An experience to repeat and to recommend, without a doubt ☺️🌿

We had a great stay, we will definitely go back. The house is extremely comfortable, beautiful and versatile, it gives both a warm and cold height. The location is perfect, both for those who want to know Gerês, and for those who just want to rest and enjoy the amenities of the house. The hosts are super friendly and flexible, I highly recommend!

As far as we are concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk to the underlying lake within a minute, where you can swim! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is a 1.5 hour drive and is definitely worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation for a week of recharging in nature. The host is also very nice, her father kindly welcomed us, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

After spending the last four weeks here I am so sad to be leaving Portugal. The house and the area are just beautiful, and I could not recommend this place enough. A car is a must, but it’s a very pleasant and straightforward drive from Porto airport. The village has a river beach, but if you prefer the sea, Caminha is a 50 minute drive and it’s definitely worth the visit - the beaches are beautiful. Forte da Ínsua restaurant is a must! I would also recommend a day trip to Tui, we took a boat ride and looked at the history and it was just wonderful. I’d also recommend the boardwalk hike along the river from Sistelo. The views are just incredible! The house is in a very rural area, so this place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so helpful and accommodating!

We were with family and the stay was warm and peaceful. I recommend the location, the house is wonderful and the neighbors are very friendly. It is important, however, to inform that it is necessary to have a vehicle and clarify more clearly that access to them can be challenging , depending on which one it is. The entrance to the house is complicated, because for those who arrive at night is not illuminated and access to the self check in vault is not accessible to outsiders. One of the rooms is more difficult to access, ideal for younger people, but not for visitors with more limitations. Despite the recommendations for improvement, we emphasize the tranquility, the incredible landscape, and the comfort of the house, which is thought in detail. Let's go back! Thank you

Great space. The family enjoyed the ample space. A car is required, but we anticipated that. Having the bicycles and kayaks were great unexpected perks that we enjoyed greatly. The air-con came in handy too for the time of the year we visited. Jose, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating with our requests, even at odd hours. Highly recommended and we will pass on the message to friends akin.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The house is beautiful, and it is very thoughtfully and tastefully equipped. Both of the bedrooms are big and comfortable, and the kitchen is brand new and fully equipped. But the terrace with the barbeque is the star of the show. The location is breathtaking, with plenty of views and walking trails right on the doorstep. But it is also the perfect location to explore the beautiful Sistelo and surrounding areas. Catarina and Sérgio were extremely friendly and generous hosts. They left us plenty of delicious and fresh produce, baked goods and local wine, they gave several recommendations for the area, and they went above and beyond to help us sort out some car issues that we picked up on the way. It is clear that they love the house and the area, and would like their guests to fall in love with it as well (which we certainly did).

A lovely and unique stay with your very own waterfall! The host is quick to respond and most helpful. We enjoyed our stay either out exploring or by the pool.

Our stay at Coura's home could not be better. Mrs. Bela very attentive, always at your disposal for any requests and help. The house is surrounded by nature, only the birds are heard, very quiet all day. Clean and organized, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils and were even willing to provide us with an additional table to work. We spent two months in the winter season with the house always kept by heating. Impeccable Internet and excellent privacy. Above all, the biggest point to point out are the owners and their huge hearts. We had the great honor and happiness of making friends and getting to know the culture/cuisine of the north. It is a differential for those who want to know the way of life of the countryside, as they also took us to know the animals and details of their day-to-day work. We carry many memories and affection of this special place, amazing people who have left their records in our history, our best experience in Portugal!

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. We had a great three-day stay. The place was private, with a spacious bedroom, balcony, and two bathrooms. It was perfect for our dog — we could walk him off-leash in the village. We all enjoyed drinking the cool, fresh water from the mountain fountain! The lake access was a nice bonus. The host was very welcoming and gave great local recommendations. A relaxing and comfortable stay overall! :)

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. Mari's house is decorated with extremely good taste and is located in the center of a very beautiful village (the snow). We were 7 guests and had a great time. The house has 3 floors. Downstairs there is a living room, a laundry room, a bedroom (this bedroom has no door, but ends up having plenty of privacy) and a toilet. The teenagers loved the giant TV on this floor! On the middle floor are two more bedrooms, a toilet and the living room/kitchen. The view from the two bedrooms is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. There is also a mezzanine-type room upstairs (also without a door, but it turns out to have a lot of privacy). The outside also seemed to be extremely pleasant, but due to the cold/rain we could not enjoy it. Near the house there is a restaurant and a supermarket. In the main square there is a church and pharmacy. Highly recommended for those who want to visit the Monção area (only 15 minutes by car) or the Vigo area (40 minutes by car).

All the amenities and both the house and the surroundings are a perfect place to disconnect and rest.

Pedro's place is a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil location with beautiful views hills and lake. Pedro was accommodating and helpful right from the start with heaps of fantastic recommendations on places to visit and always responded to any question promptly. The house is in a very small village along a very narrow road so you definitely need a car, however within 15-20 mins drive there are an abundance of amazing hikes, look outs and waterfalls. my children especially enjoyed waking up to the chickens and seeing the local farmers (right next door) move their cows and sheep each morning and afternoon. The house is really big with plenty of space for our family of 5 and we really recommend this place.
