Very professional host and beautiful cottage. The view over Kathmandu is priceless. If you want to get away from the rush and traffic in the city, this is a great option.

Suren is great host, everything was as described in the listing. Big yard and empty space. You can park on the territory. He is very friendly and well managed. This place is highly recommended.

Ram's place was beautiful. 2 great bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Super safe. Big kitchen. Lovely sitting / living room. Hot water. Western toilet. Ram is WONDERFUL. Super helpful - loving bright light. Was there at the airport with a huge smile (even after waiting for us for a couple of hours because we were running late), and got us to his place quickly and safely. Only a 4$ cab ride from Thamel - the tourist hub. Be sure to keep Ram's number handy to give to taxi drivers to get you back home at night. Ram was super attentive - always answering the phone, offering to help with tours and onward travel. We booked one night and ended up staying all week ! We couldn't leave... THANK YOU RAM ! <3

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

Manish’s apartment was as per the description. It’s a cozy apartment with every facility you need. Cold evening in Kathmandu was not a problem with A/C and a heater making the apartment warm. Security was very nice. Sumit from casa deyra, was also greatwith communication. No hassle in check-in and check-out. Overall, very nice stay. Would definitely book this place for my next visit and recommend for my friends.

We stayed at Pramods place for 3 nights. Mr Pramod was personally available to welcome us. It's an apartment located near the ring road area with easy access to city. We parked our car in the basement and took taxi to explore the city. Hot water was available 24/7. Safe and secured place too.

Situated in peaceful residential area. Google sometimes shows thin lanes as best route. Always coordinate with the owner. He was very helpful. My only concern was that there were no fan in the rooms. Though not required throughout the year in Kathmandu but in June it was hot and humid.

Tenz’s place is amazing. It’s very tastefully made and has all the amenities one could expect. It’s view right outside the window was amazing. We were traveling with our pet so it was great because it had a lot of open space outside for him to walk. Tenz was really quick with responses and made sure we didn’t face any issues. The flat I rented from Andrei and Maria was perfectly in line with the photos and the descriptions. I loved the atmosphere, the neighborhood, and the flat. It was peaceful and quiet, which was great as a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Patan. I highly recommend the apartment. Maria and Andrei were not on site themselves. but the friendly downstairs neighbor took care of my questions and provided assistance when needed.

What shall I say about this place! It was like I was with my family; caring and protective hosts, delicious foods, local traditions, and the company of the little ones of the family unforgettable. I usually travel from city to city when I am in a new country, however, staying with this family fulfilled me so much that I did not feel the need to go anywhere else- so, I spent an entire month that flew quickly in Kathmandu. The house is located in a local area, away from the noise of the rather touristy Thamel where you see more tourists than locals. The Kapan monastery area is the best to stay at. I would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Kathmandu as it is a genuine homestay experience.

Good stay, considerate hosting. Old style hospitality missing in most of South Asia nowadays. Homely and seeped in knowledge culture.

Christian and his family are saints, we had a very perilous journey on scooter from Sauraha to Pharping and were kindly received by these incredible hosts, warm comfy beds in creative bamboo houses on top of an incredible valley filled with wildlife. The Pharping area is definitely worth a trip from KTM, Darkshinkali temple cannot be missed, and Tibetan Buddhism is massive here, more monastries than I can count. Amazing.

Great place, at a great location. We stayed here for Holi and the main party was next to the building. The host is very nice and helpful. He was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times. The room was clean, and had different amenities like coffee, tea, and water for us when we arrived. The bathroom did not have hot water during our stay. Also, please read the description carefully. It mentions that there can be noise from the busy street and it is very true.

I can't recommend this homestay enough! Ram and his sweet family make you feel welcome from day one, but also give you space and privacy to do your own thing. I stayed in this very comfortable apartment for 5 nights and felt very relaxed. I even had the pleasure of sharing dinner with the family one evening. On the day I was supposed to fly something came up and immediately Ram stepped in to help me sort it out. Next time I'm in Kathmandu, I'll be back for sure!

The apartment felt like home the moment I walked in the entrance door. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with everything needed. The location was a pleasant 20 minute walk through a safe and friendly Nepali neighborhood to the Thamel area. The host was superb. He responded to messages in a timely manner, provided information on dinning, shopping, and attractions in Kathmandu.

The room is not bad, I like the small sofa at the door, and there is a small bed in the living room.The bathroom is a little bit old, it is recommended to install some hooks, if you also go in the winter, take a shower in the afternoon or evening, there may be no hot water late.The kitchen is large, but the lights are out and one light is a bit dark at night.The landlord is very friendly. A lot of trips and activities are arranged and tickets were arranged and tickets were very convenient. The condiments were also taken from the landlord's room upstairs. Overall, it was very good. There was no hot water👍 at night. I hope to remind future travelers to avoid embarrassment.😅

Great place to stay with friends or family as we get a complete villa for our self in lush green neighborhood. I would highly recommend for those who want to stay away from city noise and just want a relaxed vacation. The owner Pabitra was very helpful and cooperative. He even helped with his car to travel around Nepal. Great to stay at Indrayini.
