House holiday rentals in Badin Lake

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

This was our first experience at an Airbnb. The host was very responsive, the house was clean, and the backyard with the pool was absolutely relaxing and amazing. This will be our location of choice when we return to Charlotte to visit family.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

Larry was an amazing host, very communicative. The house was peaceful and located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The photos truly don’t do Larry’s home justice; it’s even better in person.

The house and amenities were beautiful, far exceeded the pictures. Ryan was very responsive and quick when we were locked out of the house. Unfortunately, it did rain so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool this time. However, when we return, will likely book again! Thanks!

This is our third time staying in Chris’ place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My kids loved being able to walk to the pool and the house is spacious enough for our big family. We look forward to returning again later this year. We enjoyed the back deck and barbecuing as well! Chris and Dottie have a beautiful house and really make sure their guests feel at home and keep things simple.

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

I rented this home for my daughter's 16th birthday and we really had a wonderful time! The house is very nice and the lake with the kayaks and the paddle board were fantastic! My daughters also loved the swings and the hammocks. We did have an issue out of the owners control and they responded within minutes and were willing to do whatever they could to help. We would definitely love to go back at another time!

Amazing home right on the lake. Lots of room for our whole extended family. Kids loved the kayak, paddle boards etc. Great directions on how to get there and access everything. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook big family meals. Definitely would stay again.

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

We loved this house! It felt brand new, it was super clean, well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. We’ve always dreamed of having a lake house of our own and this place just further intensified that vision! It felt SO quiet and private. I’ve stayed on other areas of HRL that felt much more congested with noisy neighbors where you are forced to hear someone else’s playlist all day. You won’t feel that here! The swimming right off the dock was so good. We rented a pontoon boat with a tube and pulled our teenage girls around for hours! The game room was perfect for when we got some afternoon rain. I’d definitely stay here again. Heather was very communicative. Check in/out was easy. I’m sure this is mentioned in the listing but it’s not a good place for anyone with mobility issues (lots of steep inclines to walk up). Though, we met our stair goals each day and are heading home with stronger calves!

This little home is a gem! It’s a perfect getaway secluded in the beautiful NC wilderness. The outdoor area is great to drink coffee and listen to the birds or build a fire at night, the studio had everything we needed and was very cute. The area is decorated to be so whimsical and fun, and when you meet Cate it all makes sense! Cate is the most wonderful host in all ways imaginable. She was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed and was very generous. Cate’s care and intention for her sanctuary shines through her actions and her delicious food. We came to visit family and stay in a secluded air bnb, but we left with an experience, fellowship and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Cate!

Second year staying here, and hopefully not the last. The lake, the views, the sunsets, the house! It’s all wonderful and amazing. Go book this place, our kids loved every minute and we did too.

Adorable home with a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porch was lovely and where we spent most of our time at the house. We grilled two of the three evenings and went into nearby Albemarle one night for dinner. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Please keep in mind, if you are bringing a boat, make sure you bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is very steep, and we had to park in the gravel at the top of the hill.

We had a fabulous stay at the lake. Home was spacious, kitchen well stocked, and the upstairs was great for our kiddos. The dock was great, lots of space and we loved the 2nd level where we got to star gaze at night. Felicia was very responsive and we hope to come back next year!

We had a wonderful time there and the house is beautiful and it is very peaceful. I wish we had better luck fishing as the water is very low for about 100 ft out or so. But overall the stay was wonderful and the host is amazing and very proactive and easy to communicate with. We will be back later on in the year for sure.

🌟 Amazing Stay! 🌟 We had a wonderful experience! We needed accommodation for my daughter’s track meet at Wingate, and this place was perfect. It was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all our questions and concerns. I highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a relaxed, spacious, and tidy place to stay!

Great place to stay will definitely love to come back again one day

Stay was great, bedd was comfy, house stayed comfortable temp. Main porch was very comfortable to sit and relax and listen to the wildlife, very little boat traffic (less than half a dozen) over the two days. Lots of birds including cardinals, herons and a family of yellow warblers in the Owl birdhouse on the back deck. House was immaculate. Kitchen clean including the refrigerator, and lots of pots and pans and other supplies. Microwave and stove worked. Bring your spices if you plan on cooking. Would stay here again, very attentive hosts, and quite responsive. Richard

Jenny's place was perfect for our needs. Wedding 15 minutes away. Were not there very much but was very convenient for us. Has a great game room that I wish we had had the time to use. My niece said they had the "BEST shampoo and soaps EVER."

The house is so clean and welcoming. The lake is so calming. The hosts are so attentive and welcoming. A wonderful place to stay! I’d definitely go back.
