We had an amazing 2-night stay at this lovely homestay in Lebong. Located in the serene outskirts of Darjeeling, it was the perfect escape from the rushed crowd and noise of the main town. The surroundings were quiet, green, and absolutely beautiful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight,simple, tasty, and truly home-like. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and soaking in the peaceful vibes. If you're looking for a calm, authentic experience away from the touristy chaos, this homestay is a gem. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to return!

I would like to thanks Mihir for an amazing stay and lovely experience at his place. the place is exactly what I was looking for. it's perfect for a solo traveller and a small group. Mihir's home is tucked away in beautiful surroundings away from the main towns hustle bustle. The sunrise view from the bedroom window is absolutely stunning! The scenery is breathtaking and the only sounds you hear are the bird sounds. Clear view of the valley , surrounded by trees and nature. the house itself is nicely furnished with a cute library, kitchen where you can cook , clean bathroom, microwave etc. I was working remotely and the wi fi was fast. I had no issues at all with my online work. There are a few shops where you can get daily necessities. I opted for home cooked food and the food was fresh and yummy ! Mihir also helped with recommendations of a local cafe for delivery and he is an excellent host always available to help. I would highly recommend his place 🙂

Rohan is an exceptional host... His parents are very kind, they treated us like their own child. I stayed there for 5 days and that feel was amazing. This place is also at walkable distance from Zoo,Happy valley, Tanzing rock and Rope way. And taxi stand is just across the road...His mother makes very tasty food.I mentioned this because when you climb hills and get tired you need good food. And She charges minimal for this... I will highly recommend This property😇

I had a fantastic stay at Noddy's place! It's rare to find such a great combination of comfort and affordability, especially with perks like free car parking and high-speed internet. The space felt luxurious, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city without breaking the bank.

Sangay and Shraddha were great host. They treated us like family members. Whenever we needed any favour, they helped us without any hesitation. They took us for hiking in jungle trails and tea estates nearby. they opened up their kitchen for our use. also provided homemade scrumptious meals which I highly recommend. We left a piece of our heart and would love to visit again given a chance. In case you ever decide to visit Lamahatta, I urge you to stay here. you will fall in love with their hospitality and nature surrounding the property.

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

We had a wonderful stay at Suzams Cafe. The views are stunning and the place is run by very warm and beautiful people. Both Abhishek and Suzam are very kind polite and helpful. It feels like home away from home, they have maintain the decorum of both the cafe and the stay, the most important part is the cafe and the stunning and marvelous view from the rooftop. I would highly recommend each and every travellers that they must check in. One more important thing is that it doesn't take much time from their cafe to Mall Road and other places, like cable car and Joy Ride and the host will guide with all the necessary things that is required while travelling. And lastly Thank You Abhishek and Suzam for hosting us. :)
