Don’t have a bike? Rent one in the city. Bingen is only a few minutes away by bike, car, or train. Wiesbaden, Frankfurt am Main, Mainz, Kaiserslautern, Ramstein, and Rüdesheim are within 20-45 minutes commute. E-bike and e-car chargers available thanks to solar power station on the property.

Cottage in beautiful Hattenheim

The cottage (about 70 square meters) is a converted barn and is listed as a monument. It is surrounded by vineyards, wineries, restaurants and only a 5-minute walk to the Rhine. Basically, it is only suitable for 2 people. The cottage is fully equipped with a washing machine/dryer, soda streamer, internet-enabled TV, Wi-Fi, lounge furniture on the terrace and many extras. Pets are welcome :-) I have hardly any reviews because the cottage was permanently rented.

The apartment is a few minutes' walk to the Rhine promenade, restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and for train travelers the train station is around the corner. Remagen is located between Bonn and Koblenz (20 minutes by train) and is very well located for many excursions, city visits, hikes and bike rides.

Just 100 meters away is a small but nice bakery. A few steps further is a nice ice cream shop. In a few minutes by bike you can reach the Rhine with great bike paths towards Koblenz or Andernach.
