Family-friendly holiday rentals in Avis

The hosts were very nice and always responsive. The apartment and pool area were as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, there were many flies in the area in July, and an insect repellent spray is helpful. Nevertheless, our stay was very nice and recommended the Airbnb.

This is an amazing place with a 360 views into breathtaking horizons and Tiago is a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

It deserves 6 stars! Paulo and Susana are great hosts, very kind and caring, they are always available to help and guide you through the beautiful area. The house is great, the garden and pool are exceptional, the view is amazing. You are quiet and in a splendid natural setting for a relaxing holiday and rejuvenation. Obrigado Paulo and Susana for everything! We'll be happy to go back.

We had a fantastic time with Marthe and Mathieu. They are both super friendly and hospitable and want to make their guests feel very comfortable. Always approachable and repeatedly asked us if everything was going well and we were satisfied. For us, the kitchen supplies could be a little more extensive, as we like to cook on vacation.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check in. Absolutely recommended!

Everything is very good, the accommodation is as described, very quiet we had a great time, especially the children since it has good facilities to play as a family.

We felt very comfortable! It was a fantastic vacation, with an incredibly beautiful beach. The place was as described, we didn't miss anything. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Esperança welcomed us in a very friendly way and showed us everything right away. She was always very helpful and gave us great tips. We would come back any time. We really liked the house and the place where it is located. It's ideal to disconnect from everything and immerse yourself in nature.

At Adelaide and her husband's, you are really treated like a guest. We felt right at home. It is a spacious authentic house with a beautiful garden with a wonderful swimming pool. We had a few warm days, but the house feels cool. Wonderfully quiet and rural environment. Thank you Adelaide!

Celeste’s place is in a fantastic location close to some great restaurants and a short walk from most of the major sights in Evora. There is some noise from youth in the plaza at night but died down by midnight. The location far outweighed the noise for our group. Our group of 6 included 2 toddlers (3 and 5) and 2 grandparents and it was very comfortable for all of us. The kids loved watching the happenings in the plaza from the windows in the morning and saying “Bom dia”to the neighbours walking by. A few of the fixtures are a bit dated which is really the only thing that prevents this from being a more luxury type accommodation. The included parking spot is about a block away and is a tight spot for a bigger vehicle. It’s in a secure private garage which is a plus. We didn’t have any trouble finding an outdoor parking place in the public lot about a block to the west but it required payment with coins during the day (5€/day I believe). We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Amazing space to spend a few days with the family away from the city. The impeccable cleanliness of the space and the super attentive host.

We had a great stay in Jorge’s apartment! It was in a very walkable location, and Jorge gave multiple great suggestions in terms of restaurants and local cuisine. Apartment itself is very clean and cool (which is important as Evora can get quite hot in the summer!)

it's a lovely house and everything was perfect. I can really suggest here to everyone if you would like to spend a weekend in the swimming pool and a beautiful garden with full of peace. it is very clean and owner, Augusto is a friendly landlord 🙂 we will be come again! Muito obrigada

This is the third time we've come to Sonia's. I love it. The place is beautiful. The lake, the canoe, the paddle, the walks around allow you to enjoy the natural lake. The air conditioning works well (it was 36 degrees). Some ant and mosquito attacks. I will be back with pleasure.

What a great place! Had everything we needed and felt like home. We couldn’t stop talking about how charming it was. And the location was central to everything we did.

The place is nice and calm, good to be close to nature. There is also a castle 10 minutes by car. I would come again!

Cute and cozy yet spacious home, with a nice yard, next to cute little village of Comporta. Kitchen had what we needed for us to comfortably prepare meals, and house already had basic bathroom and kitchen supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, shampoo/bodywash, etc.), plus a bottle of wine which was very nice! Area is very quiet, calm, and great for families. Pool was clean and spacious, never felt too busy. Small grocery store inside the complex was reasonably priced and very practical. The nearest beach is beautiful, but a 30 min walk (with kids), including a stretch on a major road, so not practical. It was a 5 min drive but parking filled quickly. The village of Comporta is cute but small and was busy, but other options for restaurants just a short drive (within 10-20 min) away, and many other beaches to explore along the coast. Overall, Carla was a great host and we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved this place, worked perfectly for 2 small children (1 and 4), even levels across, easy access around the property, still maintaining it's rural and beautiful surroundings. Lots to do with children, from walking around the property, to a generous play area (covered) with lots of toys, a washing machine for laundry, and other surprises we didn#t know we would have there. the pool worked well too, and checking out the chickens. the place has 3 dogs that are absolutely adorable, big but super friendly, that can be kept guarded if need be. we and our children absolutely loved all of the experience, including all personnel that came to help us when we needed. when a door lock broke it was fixed on the same day. impressive service!

Veni is a wonderful host, welcoming and helpful. The place is peaceful full of gardens and flowers. Strongly recommend.

Carlos and Isabel are exceptional hosts. Having had health problems during our stay, they were very effective and reassuring for our medical follow-up. The house is very well arranged with great taste, lots of amenities and linens. All exceptionally clean. And all this in a very nice environment. It feels like home with even a vintage stereo and its own quality vinyl records. It is a real airbnb where we are welcomed not by a lockbox but by a warm couple who know how to be discreet. The pool is clean and beautiful in size. Its environment is. very nice. We'll be back for sure. Thanks to Isabel and Carlos

Rita was very friendly, you got in touch quickly and the cottage was in a nice place. There was everything available for a few nice days. I would describe the house as perfect for 2 people
