The abundant green landscape boasts more than a hundred species of centuries-old camellias and chestnut trees. Between Porto and “Alto Douro Wine Region”, both classified as UNESCO World Heritage, “Quinta da Agraceira” is a magnificent property with 50.000 m2. You can enjoy a unique view over the Douro River, just from 10 kms from Porto city. The property has also an 18th century manor, with a beautiful chapel, a swimming pool and lush vegetation, you can visit Porto and, at the same time, enjoy the beautiful tranquillity of Douro River country side. With more than a hundred species of camellias (more than 200 years old), and old chestnut trees, along other species, is truly a unique place. The historical centre of Porto was classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and Porto has been elected “European Best Destination 2017” (the third time that the city receives this distinction). With its special charm, simultaneously modern and authentic, Porto has many things to offer: monuments, architecture, cultural heritage, cultural life, museums, esplanades and other open air leisure spaces as well as green spaces, along river bank and sea shore. It is also a must-see! Douro Valley cultural landscape of outstanding beauty is “representative of the full range of activities association with winemaking – terraces, quintas (wine-producing farm complexes), villages, chapels, and roads”. Its main product, since the 18th century, port wine, is world famous. Can access: the swimming pool which has a small fully equipped kitchen, barbecue and full bathroom; to the river using the available kayaks or fishing because there is an ancient anchorage; gardens and paths within the farm; free parking We live in the main house of the farm and we are happy to help in any way we can! We want to ensure a memorable stay! Avintes is a historic village with a river beach and a small center served by several restaurants and shops. It's home to an excellent biological park and a zoo, while the center of Gaia and Porto are around 10-15 minutes away. There is public transport 1km from the Quinta entrance. However, it is recommended to use your own car. You can park inside the property.

모루 정원 바로 밑이라 모루 정원 따로 갈 필요없이 숙소 테라스에서 즐길 수 있어서 넘 좋았어요! 위치 자체는 투어나 관광명소 가려면 동 루이스 다리를 계속 건너야 했지만 그만한 가치가 있었어요! 상벤투역 쪽보다 덜 혼잡해서 조용하고 야경도 너무 좋았어요! 다만, 강을 정면으로 바라보는 뷰가 아니라 사선으로 봐야 해요!(호스트님이 올리신 첫 번째 사진을 유심히 보세요) 저희는 3박 묵었는데 수건이 큰거 2장, 작은거 2장 뿐이라 수건을 조금 더 받을 수 있는지 요청드렸는데 39 유로를 지불하면 받을 수 있다고 하셔서 수건이 부족한건 좀 많이 아쉬웠어요 ㅠㅠ... 말려쓰는 엔딩... 그 외에는 남편과 저도 숙소가 너무 좋았고 깔끔하고 향도 좋았어요! 화장실도 2개라 좋았어요! 포르투 여행을 떠올리면 숙소에서 바라본 뷰가 오래오래 기억에 남을 것 같아요!

To put it simply, Max’s place has been the best Airbnb I have stayed at!! It’s not just an Airbnb, it’s home away from home - so comfortable, cosy, welcoming, clean and just all around superb. I stayed here for 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. It has everything you needed all amenities, super comfortable and modern furniture and surrounding greenery. From the get go, Max has been super patient, helpful and so kind with my booking - thank you. On check in, to during my stay and till check out - Max has been on hand constantly. I can’t recommend Max and his home enough, I’m sure it’s going to be fully booked for months moving forwards. It’s rare that I stay at an Airbnb without one single issue, and with Max’s place I have nothing but great things to say. Thank you to such a fantastic home for making me feel right at home, your service and home are absolutely amazing.

A PERFECT STAY! As a young woman traveling alone I felt so safe staying with Aurora and Alberto. They gave me a map with great recommendations and practically planned my whole trip for me. It was unforgettable and I hope I get to stay with them again in the future. The location is wonderful, walking distance to the city center but peaceful and away from a lot of the very touristy areas. I felt right at home.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit kleinem Zimmer und großem Bad. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Von der Unterkunft braucht man etwa 15 Minuten mit einem Uber in die Stadt. Das kostet nicht mehr als 5-10€ und man ist entfernt von dem Trubel in Porto. Würde es jedem weiterempfehlen.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the place had a modern feel and was in a central location for us - it is on the Gaia side of the river so you have to cross the bridge to get to Porto, but it’s close and was nice to have the beautiful view of the city center. Some things to note are that it is on the third floor (good for noise) but noting it for accessibility for others for walking the flights of stairs up. One last thing is it seemed other tenants in other units were smoking, when you’re in the bedroom you can’t smell it but if you’re sensitive to smell, just an FYI. Overall, I would recommend this stay!

The apartment is conveniently located a stone throw’s away from the metro line that could take you into the center in 15 mins or less. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and very modern with complete amenities. The only thing missing for me is a full size mirror. Other than that, everything was just as described. I would come back to stay here if I’m ever in Porto.
