Holiday rentals with lake access in Avène

We loved this place with it's large, beautiful garden full of little nooks to sit in and it's spectacular view of the water. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for children. The kitchen was well equipped, the rest of the house clean and nicely furnished. There is a lovely little bakery nearby. What we enjoyed most was the peaceful and picturesque surroundings and the Olivier and his wife gave us excellent suggestions for things to do and answered all our questions promptly.

Thanks to Fabienne for her hospitality, she is very responsive to answering questions and was a good source of advice for visiting the area. She and her husband are lovely people. They run a charming little restaurant in the village, very nice to have a good time. We had a great weekend with friends with our children. The house is perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. The environment is relaxing and peaceful if you want to disconnect from your life at 100 miles an hour and you enjoy nature, this is the right place! The WiFi works without any problems😉! Super nice place to stay. Located in a small private forest and right on the beach. Very quiet, beautiful garden with pool. House also first class. Each bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Overall, a clear recommendation.

Everything is nickel-chrome at Catherine's. The apartment is very spacious and very well furnished. We discovered her Book on the site, it gave us ideas for interesting visits.

Very nice place. Animals roaming free and hosts present but very discreet. Independent cottage for those seeking peace and quiet.

Le Petit Nid is aptly named. The living room is large and bright, the view splendid, the apartment well appointed and equipped, it is quiet. We spent 5 wonderful days there. Only two things to consider especially for PRMs or (a little) elderly people: the stairs are indeed steep and it is not always possible to park in front, the closest being the parking lot of Le Plantier located about 200m away. Otherwise, nothing to repeat, thank you again!

Pleasant stay in Nassim and Faida's Studio. Property located in a quiet area and with proximity to the tram a 3-minute walk to the city center. This one is very well equipped if you want to cook with small touches from the owners by offering coffee tea jams etc. If you want a quiet place with public transport next door, do not hesitate to book this accommodation because it matches the description and photos of the site. I highly recommend it.

Great stay with the family, in a very welcoming setting, conducive to good family meals and long afternoons in the garden! Very nice access to the river. Philippe and Sophie are very welcoming, attentive and very available. We would have stayed a few more days to enjoy a little more of this great place, both for the place and for the hosts!

This is a very charming house and we really had a wonderful week. The views from the roof terrace are stunning, and a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine.. Bouzigues is full of good places for a relaxing meal (particularly oysters, of course), so no need to drive in the evening, and during our week we enjoyed trips to Sète; Beziers, Meze, Marseillan and Pezenas. Thank you to both Polly and Eva, we hope to be back!

We had a great time. The environment was perfect, Gabby has a world that puts you right in the atmosphere of the holidays. The accommodation is just perfect, a cozy little nest where it feels good. We had a really lovely time here. The house is cute and has everything you’d need. The town is small, picturesque and has some local vineyards for wine tasting. The lake nearby is great for swimming. I’d highly recommend!

We loved the calm, the setting and the amenities of the accommodation, but above all the kindness and availability of Jacqueline and Victor, always ready to provide their advice on the right places to discover and to make our stay even more enjoyable. The house had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We felt very welcome there, with excellent stocks of essential supplies. We would not hesitate to book another stay there.

Very nice environment. The accommodation is consistent with the photos and tastefully decorated. It feels great for a romantic weekend in nature. Lots of things to do nearby. A very pleasant calm. And a special mention for Berlioz, who we really fell in love with. If he has gained weight, we apologize, but he is so cute. We loved our stay and will come back. Very kind and discreet host despite the proximity of their home. Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.
