Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Avalon

This was a perfect location for us as we helped move our daughter out of UCI. We loved being able to walk to yummy eats at diamond jamboree and run along the path. The place itself is clean and spacious and just as described. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our future visits. Thanks again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Breanna’s! The apartment was so comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. It was easy to cozy up and make a home cooked meal! I’m looking forward to my next stay when I’m in OC!

This place was awesome! The view was amazing👍🏽 It had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Having the parking space downtown was fantastic. The communication was on point. Stayed here while we had work on our place in the Beaumont Heights area of Long Beach. It was great having a different experience in Long Beach. I would definitely recommend the apartment.❤️

Brandon was incredibly accommodating throughout our entire trip, and the experience was fantastic. Everything - from the kitchen and bathroom to the bedding was clean and comfortable. I would definitely love to stay at his place again.

Great place. Immaculately clean and the views from the room were beautiful. Good location for all of the OC's offerings and attractions, very central and close to Disneyland and the beaches. Only issues were the building. Pool is unheated so a little cold for May, and two of the three elevators went down for several days. Otherwise, great stay!

We LOVED staying at Wendy’s place. It was exactly how it look in the picture but even better. I love that it had a gated parking lot with a designated parking and the neighborhood was safe. It was easy to get in and out. I would definitely book Wendy’s place again! Communication was amazing too!

Jessica is a good host. location is on the street as stated. a secure apartment and everyone is friendly and helpful. The kitchen was spotless and clean. There is a great sofa bed. I felt like I was at home. It was nice to sit on the balcony in the evenings. The street is suitable for walking and there is a small gym in the building. I would definitely choose it again for my stay in Long Beach.. Also it was great that she allowed late check out… thank you

Blake is great host. Easy to communicate and quick response. House is clean and has balcony with beautiful view. And having golf cart he let us use was really helpful, we used for going to town and going around the island scenic route.

This air bnb was so dreamy and relaxing. I will definitely be back! It felt like I was in Santorini.. perfect place for my honeymoon. We had a great time. The only thing I did not like was that the balcony had no privacy. Other than that it was AMAZING. I definitely recommend.

You can't beat the view. The unit is very spacious and we felt like there were many good memories made there over the years. We definitely made some great ones. .I could definitely see a larger group doing well there. The stair are real, so I would not suggest for older or impaired guests. The property amenities are all kept beautifully and the golf cart seats 6. The private beach was perfect and unexpected. Town was less than a 5min golf cart ride. We look forward to another visit.

Lauren was a great host, she was responsive and took care of all the questions/concerns we had. The place is amazing, it has a great view that we took advantage of while having coffee in the morning on the balcony. The apartment complex is well maintained, clean and people are respectful. We had zero issues with noise or bad behaviors. The photos of the place don’t do it justice, would recommend taking sunset photos and figure out how to take them with good lighting. The golf cart was a very practical addition, we used it to pick/drop the luggage (the backseat folds into a flatbed), get groceries and go to different places in the island. We were a bit paranoid about the fuel consumption and tank capacity (since there is no fuel level indicators) but after a couple of drives we figured it out. The tank is under the front seat on the passenger side. The lights are a knob you have to pull on the dashboard next to the key. It takes a bit of driving to get used to the cart (newbies here)

There were a lot of stairs getting up so make sure to have good knees! The view was worth it! Very private and peaceful. Tom was always responsive and check-in was a breeze. Golf Cart was included was a plus!

If you are not sure if this is the place to be, this is the place to be. Amazing views, great host and lovely compound. The place is 15 min from the hustle and bustle of tourist downtown. There is a golf cart to get you downtown when you want. Not great if you hate walking up stairs because there is no elevator to the suite but the walk up the stairs is easy. Love it and would book again.

For some reason, the place wasn't cleaned already. But they arrived when we did and they did a good job. It was a nice place but no rugs except for the living room. It was very peaceful. The golf cart was very loud and the brakes didn't work all that well - might be time to replace with an electric one ;-) Overall it was a nice clean peaceful unit. However, I don't think it was worth what we paid $1200 for 2 nights.

We love this place. A few wonderful things the description doesn’t mention: (1) the amazing views from the back balcony, (2) higher altitude so it’s nice and cool and also no mosquitoes (houses lower have mosquitoes now), (3) the new amazing washer and dryer, and (4) the hot water for showers is fantastic.

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. One of the best parts was how close it was to Disney—just a short drive away—which made getting to and from the parks so easy. There were also tons of great restaurants nearby, giving us plenty of dining options. The pool was a big highlight—clean, relaxing, and perfect for winding down after a busy day. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely book again!

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

What an incredible place! Will definitely add as one of my favorite spots in Long Beach. We were hosting my dad for a little staycation as we live in LA and this was a perfect spot for a home away from home. We spent almost our entire stay in the backyard! It was perfect. Even when it was really warm and sunny, the back part of the yard was cool and had a ton of shade. The pergola covered table provided a perfect spot to dine all day long, and when the weather cooled down at night the hot tub was just what we needed. We also appreciated the fire table and fire pit. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed - including a ton of pots and pans and spices! We were pleasantly surprised we didn't need to purchase any extras for the weekend. Thanks for a wonderful rental and we will be back for sure!!

Dale was friendly yet professional. The place suited our needs well. There were a couple of minor issues that I messaged Dale about and he was responsive and remedied them in a timely manner, which I appreciated. He was timely re: all correspondence, actually. I recommend.

We had an amazing stay! The resort offered so many activities, beautiful pools, and was just steps from the ocean. Everything was gorgeous, both inside and out. The room was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. Bethany was wonderful — easy to communicate with, very helpful, and always responsive. Any small needs we had were quickly taken care of by the resort staff as well. It was truly a perfect vacation. We would absolutely love to come back!

I was a little thrown off by having the wrong address sent in emails ahead of the trip, but on the day we checked in we were given the correct address with great instructions. The house was easy to find and in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Off street parking is always a plus, so we were pleased with that as well. Inside the house was beautiful and matched the pictures and descriptions with one exception. The gym shown in the pictures did not match what was actually there, there was a single barbell in the garage and that was the extent of the gym. Aside from that the place was perfect. We stayed there so we could go to Disneyland and it is about a 15-20 minute drive each way, which made the price just right for what we needed. I would definitely stay with Trinh again and would like to thank them for their hospitality and use of their wonderful home.
