Beachfront holiday rentals in Portimão

Such a gem of a place. We stayed for 6 nights; I originally (mistakenly) only booked for 5 nights but the hosts were accommodating and responsive when I requested to add another night to the end of the trip. We came for my 40th birthday, and I was looking for a place right on the coast, with cliffs and ocean views. This perfectly fit the bill and I had an enchanting time. There are so many lovely spaces in the house to enjoy the views and the weather, and the hosts are responsive and send recommendations for the area.

The location was perfect. That’s why this was our second visit to Villa Bonita. We cannot recommend Tiago and his property highly enough. Tiago was quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed. We stayed there for 2 weeks with family and friends in 2023 and just enjoyed another 3 weeks with family. The property is very homey, doesn’t feel like a short term rental. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of wonderful dining options nearby. Hope to get back there again. Thanks Tiago.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! It’s our second visit here and we loved it as much as we did the first time, especially how’s there’s air conditioning! It’s a home from home with everything we needed. Sarah is helpful, friendly and responsive. See you next year

The location of this home is unbeatable. Literally next to the beach, but you feel private the entire time. We appreciated all of the different sections of the outdoor space— especially the bar stools by the balcony to watch the dogs on the beach and the full al fresco kitchen! So much to do nearby and we highly recommend as an ideal spot for anyone visiting the Algarve. Thank you!

Highly recommend! The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a perfect beach getaway. You can tell it’s thoughtfully set up by someone who either travels often or stays here themselves.

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of tranquility. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was wonderful and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would come back.

Carla was very communicative and kind throughout our stay. The location of her apartment was perfect for our family, with the pool and beach basically right outside of our door and a short walk to many restaurants and sights in Lagos.

Wonderful place with nice views from the deck, a large comfy bed, and wash machine. Very quiet street and 5 minute walk to Porto de Mos beach (which was beautiful). Easy 25-30 minute walk into downtown Lagos. Also quite enjoyed the pool and restaurant / bar (Illicit Burgers) on the premises.

Andre provided great recommendations, was very helpful and provided nice clean accommodation.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and located in an excellent sector. In addition, Eurico was very nice and always attentive to any questions or needs. Definitely a place we would come back to happily. Thank you for everything!

Super and pleasant high place. I hear it in the photos. The staff is super welcoming, the instructions for finding the place are super clear. Loved the decor, I recommend it and will come back for sure.

We loved staying here and the home was as described. The hosts where very responsive, and the sofa folded out bed was comfortable (as was the other bed).

Fantastic location! Super clear check in instructions. Under a 2 minute walk to the beach and many restaurants. The place was also spotless and clean. Parking was easy to access and very secure. I will definitely be booking this place again in the future.

We had a lovely time at Ivonne’s. It was exactly as described, very walkable and had lots of recommendations for places to see and visit. We would definitely go back.

Incredible stay in this beautiful villa hosted by Wilson. We had such an amazing time! The view is simply magnificent, there is plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy it every minute of the day. We had the pool heated and it was totally worth it. Note if you are travelling with kids, there is a small separated part of the pool that is PERFECT for toddlers. Wilson was such a great host, starting from the Booking. He gave us plenty of suggestions and tips to make the most out of our stay and he welcomed us with a welcome basket which was much appreciated as we just arrived from our night flight. Everything was super clean and there was even everything you need to enjoy the pool and the beach with kids. Don’t look further, if you have a car, this villa is the best base to explore the Algarve. We would happily come back!

Stayed early June. I personally try to be as honest as possible when leaving a review, as I use Airbnb frequently and rely on the information provided by the reviews. can honestly say that this place is absolutely STUNNING. The photos do not do it justice. I could spend hours and hours (which i did) just chilling on the balcony. The apartment is amazing in every way. I would, 100% thoroughly recommend and definitely will return. The area is also excellent, great bars and restaurants. With plenty to do & see. Easy access to water taxi and no problem getting Uber/Bolt/Taxi. Book now, you will NOT be disappointed.

The apartment is beautiful, such a nice location and Ana is a wonderfully kind lady. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
