Had a very nice stay for one night. Walkable to town and to the city climb for views. Very well set up home. Would definitely stay again!!

We booked the place for 3 nights and we felt bad that we could not spend as much time we we would have loved to in the beautiful home. The only minor drawback is the steep stairs to the main level and one of the bathrooms being in the lower level. Kinga was extremely helpful whenever we needed any information or help and also with suggestions on local activities. Great home, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful and convenient location!

Excellent accommodation, very pleasant, easy communication with William Fredrik. Everything is quiet and the whole place is well-equipped, as described and very clean. The quality/price ratio is quite favorable. Very well located accommodation provided you have a car. But a bus service exists to reach Alesund.

We were a wonderful 4 weeks in Karls hus. The apartment was as described in the listing and left nothing to be desired. Charles's father, Leif, received us. A very friendly and open man who showed us around and explained everything. If we had any questions, he was always on hand. The moments on the terrace were particularly beautiful....sunshine, sea sounds and the many birds. From the property it is close to the Atlantic road and restaurants as well as shopping. We can 100% recommend this place, so from us 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed in the apartment for a longer period of time for travel work. A lovely apartment that has been great to stay in. Central and in walking distance to both city, shopping center and hiking areas. Audun and Helene have been quick to answer questions and been very helpful. Would like to stay here again! 🙌🏻

What a great beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. The apartment is spacious with a beautiful terrace with panoramic views. The beds are nice. The kitchen and bathroom are also nice and there is everything you could need to prepare a simple meal. Communication was good, we did not see each other 'live' but that was not necessary. We enjoyed it, thank you so much!

We lived in this house for almost five months as visiting scientists to NTNU Ålesund with our son who went to the Ålesund International School. Both locations could be reached easily, Aalesund Sentrum can be reached quicklyand Moa offers everything needed. The well-equiped house suited us perfectly with ample of space and convenient furniture. Åshild could always be reached easily and was always kind and helpful. We had a wonderful and exciting time during our stay. We are very grateful for being able to live in this house during our time in Ålesund.

Amazing 19th century house in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. Stunning surroundings! Great fireplace in the living room, nice modern bathroom and kitchen. Anna and her husband are amazing hosts!

We immediately felt very comfortable in the beautiful typical Norwegian wooden house. The very well maintained and clean house is very quiet yet central and has a wonderful view of the fjord and the mountains. Jermund was always very helpful and very friendly. Absolutely recommended.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. We had a very nice stay at Elisabeth and Øystein's house. The house is nicely located and beautifully decorated. We had 2 small children, and we borrowed a travel bed and bed linen. Excellent! We will gladly return for another stay at a later occasion. Recommended!

We had a great time at the apartment. Communication with Anton was simple and fast, and the apartment was well located. On that particular evening people were a bit rowdy at times through the night right outside (what can you do? It's not a fault on the apartment) but otherwise a great stay! Thank you for hosting us!

The condo was fantastic: well equipped, deeply clean, tidy and comfy. So it was already a great start. And then we met the family running it and it became even better. They were super on top of messages, quickly addressed our questions and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. I had read something about noise upstairs in a review -we don't agree. While we did hear some light steps, it was completely fine. Had a great evening and nights sleep. They are very quiet. Bent and his son are extraordinary hosts and the apartment is cozy, roomy, clean and well equipped. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks! ❤️
