We had a great stay at this lovely place just outside the center of Ålesund. The apartment is spacious and comes with a nice patio that gets the evening sun — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We really liked the charming, classic-style kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. One thing to note is that the apartment is a bit sound-sensitive — we could hear people walking in the apartment above — but it wasn’t a major issue for us. Stine was a wonderful host — very friendly and quick to respond to any questions.

We were a wonderful 4 weeks in Karls hus. The apartment was as described in the listing and left nothing to be desired. Charles's father, Leif, received us. A very friendly and open man who showed us around and explained everything. If we had any questions, he was always on hand. The moments on the terrace were particularly beautiful....sunshine, sea sounds and the many birds. From the property it is close to the Atlantic road and restaurants as well as shopping. We can 100% recommend this place, so from us 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Incredibly nice and clean apartment and very nice host! Received personal greeting upon arrival, as well as candy for the kids who fell very much into 🥰 Amazing views, lovely bedding, well equipped kitchen and a great interior. A very pleasant stay and we would love to come back!

Grand apartment overlooking the water, easy downhill to numerous restaurants and lovely town. As they make clear - it’s a steep hill to their place, but nothing to deter you if you’re happily mobile. Everything inside is clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the Happy Elephant very nearby, and Molo Brewery a bit further - plus the Løvenvold Theater is beautiful! Definitely get local pastry from bakery - it’s like eating a cloud!! All from this cosy apartment! Enjoy!!

Fantastic place with short distance to nice hikes and the possibility to rent a boat nearby for those who want to fish. The house was much larger than we expected and the children appreciated all the toys that were there! Cozy host like black fort. We would gladly came back!

What a beautiful house, it is well described in the listing. The garden is beautiful with sea views. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and enjoyed the☀️. We lived in this house for almost five months as visiting scientists to NTNU Ålesund with our son who went to the Ålesund International School. Both locations could be reached easily, Aalesund Sentrum can be reached quicklyand Moa offers everything needed. The well-equiped house suited us perfectly with ample of space and convenient furniture. Åshild could always be reached easily and was always kind and helpful. We had a wonderful and exciting time during our stay. We are very grateful for being able to live in this house during our time in Ålesund.

The stay at Andrea's was really great. The apartment was as in the photos and everything was really very clean. There were clear instructions for check-in and everything was well described. There were even fresh roses on the table and there were a few snacks on arrival. The location was also very nice, a bit away from the huge tourist crowds of Alesund but still quick to reach.

We are a health staffing agency that has booked several stays for our nursing substitutes. Simen responds quickly to our inquiries and is always easy and pleasant to communicate with. Our temps are delighted. Recommended! :)
