We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

Great rural location and wonderful hosts! Near the famous Riberac Friday market, and picturesque villages like Aubeterre, Bourdeilles, Brantome, etc.

Great stay in a charming environment near the river - Terry & John were very discrete. We absolutely loved the Jeux de Boulde terrain in the yard and the cosy pizza baking area.

A very nice and functional cottage on an idyllic island. "An enchanted break". Aline is an available and considerate hostess.

A really great find. This is a lovely, relaxed place to stay. Well equipped and maintained, without being fussy. A wonderful place to get away from it all and spend time with friends and family. Easy access to Bergerac and the surrounding area, which has some very pretty walks. The recommendations of local places to visit were very reliable too. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was in heaven. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

Marie’s home was beautiful and without a doubt the highest standard of accommodation we’ve stayed in with Airbnb. The location is so peaceful and felt very safe behind the remote controlled gate for your car and then the bungalow itself was absolutely superb, immaculately spotless with the most comfortable bed and living room accommodation and a kitchen and bathroom with all of the highest quality appliances, it really is superb. Marie was a charming host and if we get back to visit this beautiful part of the world again we shall definitely be staying here again, many thanks David & Teresa x

We loved our stay at Sylvie's place. From the first messages to our departure, she was very attentive, responsive, available, welcoming and friendly. She advised us about places to visit in the area. The accommodation is impeccable, spacious, very convenient for groups (there were 9 of us and there were still unused rooms, there are many bathrooms). A warm house with a lot of charm where you feel right at home, like in a family home. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable and friendly living room. Beautiful garden. Fireplace. Swimming pool. We will happily return for a longer stay and will recommend it around us.

The stay in Anne's little house was exceptionally beautiful! We were warmly welcomed by Anne, who makes it clear that she likes to have guests. She has furnished the beautiful little house the way she would do it for herself. Everything is selected with attention to detail, the bed under the roof is comfortable with great views to the outside, you will find good coffee, toiletries in the bathroom and even a grill with charcoal and lighters. When we were there, the figs in the garden were ripe, which we could pick - the porcini mushrooms from the forest, a good bottle of wine from the local winery, a reservation at "Le Bistrot du Presbytère" (around the corner and great!)Anne helps out with everything to make her guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. The house itself and all its furnishings are as beautiful as seen in the photos, the garden and the possibilities to sit outside are a dream. We'd love to go back right away!

Wow, what a location and space. Cant say enough about our few days here, other than I wish we had a few more. Directly located in the middle of grape vines and surrounded by chateaus. The village is a short ride. The old barn renovated into an apartment is large, clean and well put together. Can’t recommend enough. We’d 100% come back

We loved our stay at David and Jerome’s place!! They were both extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful, whether having your morning coffee in the garden, an afternoon swim in the pool or an evening hot tub. Would highly recommend to all future guests!

Incredible stay, ideally located next to shopping areas, quiet neighborhood and lots of greenery. The perfect decoration for the bathroom, even with a terrace offering a view of the sunset.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

We absolutely loved our stay! Debbie and Mark were the best hosts and left us with some fantastic recommendations on places to visit. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and has a fantastic outside area with shady spots to sit in, a stunning pool with plenty of sun loungers. There was ample space for all of us, we loved the outdoor dining area. We can’t wait to come back and visit again soon!

We loved our holiday at Maison des Abeilles. We were there with our family, including 3 grandchildren aged 9, 7 and 5 months. The house is a good family house, comfortable, very well equipped and welcoming. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated but all is clean, the beds are very comfortable with nice linen. The two covered terraces, one facing east, the other west, with dining tables and chairs are great. The garden is spacious and private, the heated pool, approx 12x6m, is perfect. Nearby, beautiful Aubeterre sur Dronne is a lovely village. The local area is rural, unspoilt and very peaceful. We enjoyed some local walks from the house. There was an issue with the drains during our stay. Chris responded immediately and quickly arranged appropriate help. All was sorted quickly. We would happily return.

We had a fantastic stay at Mary’s cottage! Mary is a wonderful host—warm, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and shared thoughtful advice about our possible future move to France, which we really appreciated. The cottage is charming, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful and completely private garden that we had all to ourselves. Mary took the time to show us around on arrival and made sure we knew how everything worked. The wood-burning fire in the living room was already set up and ready to light, with a plentiful supply of dry wood and kindling provided. There was a terrific sense of having the home entirely to ourselves, while at the same time knowing that Mary was just around the corner should we need anything. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay, the air bnb was in a beautiful setting and had lovely grounds. It was well equipped and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others and return back!

We had a wonderful week in St Quentin de Chalais. Pat and Yvonne gave us a very warm welcome to their beautiful farmhouse, along with a generous French welcome pack. The pool was fantastic, and the house and stunning location exceeded our expectations. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a charcoal bbq which we enjoyed using, and our privacy was entirely respected, while we also felt our hosts were at hand to help should we have needed anything. Within 20 minutes of the rural location of the farmhouse are quite a few beautiful villages, with plenty of bakeries for your croissant and coffee every morning..Aubeterre, Chalais, Bonnes, St. Aulaye, La Roche Chalais, Ribérac. We have returned home refreshed with wonderful memories of a special week. Thank you.

A lovely place, easily accommodated all of us. very well located for auberterre with a 10 min walk to the town's boulangerie, bars and restaurants. Access to the river and the private beach is a great extra. There is plenty of space so that you rarely come into contact with the other guests on the property. Carmen is very helpful and responds super fast. Extra bonus if you like karaoke as there is a karaoke night at the camp site across the river!
