Simply fantastic! The villa really has everything you need. Starting with the fantastic host Michail, who simply gives you the feeling of staying with friends, has an ear for everything and so many recommendations that you need months to see everything, the beautiful villa with super interior design, the great garden with pool to the roof terrace with jacuzzi. You won't miss anything! Peace and privacy? Absolutely! Toaster, sure. Cocktail set, there too. Iron, anyway. Washing machine, easy. Cretan spices and oil, check. Tea, there too. Coffee machine, of course! Just book! You won't regret it. I would spend my vacation there again at any time. Bonus: A super cute German shepherd lives in the next house. Go ahead and say hello to Oscar! He is very happy about a few strokes and company! Keep it up, dear ones! Great job.

Roula was an exceptional host. The house was lovely and had everything we needed, including a great outdoor eating area. The garden has beautiful plants and trees, and the pool is great. Being surrounded by the well looked after goats and sheep was charming and the sound of their bells very relaxing. The village has well stocked supermarkets and there is a fantastic local butcher too. You definitely need a car if you are staying here, parking and getting around Rethymno is really easy. We loved our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. It was a very good stay in the villa. Iwanis was easy to cummunicate and we had a great time.

This is a spectacular villa and easily matches the photos. One unexpected feature was that one of the two pools was shallow for the kids. That meant they could stand by themselves and they would play in it all day. The adults loved just lying in it too! Nikos was a great host. He welcomed us on to the property and was extremely responsive with our questions. He even delivered extra pool toys and Greek treats during our stay. The area is very private with a short drive to supermarkets and some classic waterfront restaurants. It’s also convenient to get to Chania airport. We loved our stay here as two families, it exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend.

This place was better than we expected! The house is large and just feels like you are in Greece. The pool area is relaxing and private. Our host went above and beyond, we had fresh fruit when we arrived and then he made us a Greek meal of moussaka and a large salad for dinner! The food was delicious and there was so much it fed us for two nights. We have never had a host make us dinner, it was truly wonderful. This place was 10 min drive to old town so you do need to rent a car, which I would recommend if you are visiting Crete.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. An amazing place, beautiful interior and a superb outside space. Definitely lived up to expectations.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We had a great stay at the villa - it was even more beautiful than described, with great views of the sea, beautiful pool, relaxed chill area with sun and shade. The rooms look like the photos and it's nice that each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials. Stamatis came to visit us on the day of arrival, gave us tips and was also on site shortly before departure to say goodbye. Very helpful host. The villa is about 20 minutes by car from Rethymno - in between there are always large supermarkets. The city itself is super beautiful in the center with many incredibly good restaurants. The beach at the villa itself is not a highlight. We got in the car and drove past Rethymno to the large long sandy beach with many small taverns. Highly recommended.

Stayed as a group of 3x couples and kids of ages ranging from 6mo to 4yr. The villa was perfect. Rare to find a property like this . Stunning views, quiet location, heated pool, swings & slides for the little ones, BBQ for the evenings, building & furnishing quality top notch, and the most responsive and helpful host we've ever experienced for an Airbnb. We had a great stay in a very nice, well-appointed Villa, with a lot of taste, very well-equipped and ideally located near Almyrida (very nice and family-friendly seaside resort). We were able to fully enjoy the large heated pool until the evening and the exceptional panoramic view of the bay of Souda and the mountain. It is a quiet environment, very appreciable for resting. Jeanette & Joha were very friendly hosts, very responsive and very good advice for sightseeing and restaurants. It is an ideally located location, close to the beach and restaurants of Almyrida and 45' from the center of Chania. We highly recommend this Villa and will return with great pleasure. Bridget & JP

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

Our stay in Villa Elia in Atsipopoulo was wonderfull! The house is very comfortable and makes you feel at home right away. What definitely helps with that is the very warm welcome George gives you and the welcome gifts. The cheese pastry his mom made was delicious! We liked the villa being in the middle of the village with all the amenities you need on walking distance (bakery, supermarket, taverne, bar, pharmacy, pizzeria ...) and at the same time the quietness of the house and pool area. Mostly locals there when we were there in April (what we really like). Rethimno, with nice shops, bars, restaurants, beach etc, is really close by. George and his family are always close by for questions or just a little chat. We will definitely come back!

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation. Absolutely fantastic! The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. The view is breathtaking, and the pool is absolutely amazing. The place is equipped with everything you need – nothing is missing. I especially want to highlight the host, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. The villa was beautiful, it exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed having an en-suite for every room. Mia couldn’t have been more helpful, she was very proactive in ensuring we had a great trip. We felt so well looked after when we arrived there was lovely food and wine in the fridge. She really went above and beyond to accommodate us. We loved the location, right in the heart of the old town - so many wonderful tavernas within a short walk. And having a pool in that location was such a treat. Would definitely recommend.

After a long day with a delayed flight we arrived at the house and the stress of the day was actually gone, a beautiful house with a wonderful swimming pool A driveway behind an electrically operated gate and then a huge house, we felt like a king so rich We received a warm welcome and good tips on where to eat, and Stella (our Host) also arranged a day trip to Santorini where we spent a wonderful day But the most beautiful and pleasant thing was the swimming pool and the privacy that the villa offered us We enjoyed the swimming pool We enjoyed the house But above all, we enjoyed the hospitality of Stella and her father Manoli, and everyone who works in the background to make this beautiful place so special Also recommended for larger families or groups of friends We will definitely come back !
