Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Atouguia da Baleia

The place is very cute and homey. Besides, Elise allowed me to stay in an empty room to work well past check out time to let me work from there. The place is very close to both Ferrel and Baleal. Just a few min walking from nice cafes, restaurant and the beach. The place is along the main road, I didn’t find it particularly noisy.

Wow!! What a gorgeous house, so peaceful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The back garden and surrounding town is stunning. Thank you Anabela, your hosting, thoughtful gifts and quick communication made our first night in Portugal a highlight. Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return if we come back to Portugal!

We stayed at Leonor's litte house for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is situated beautifully in nature and is a great place to explore the area from. The house is small but has what you need with 2 person's. We also enjoyed the frequent visit of Leonor's father's dogs! Perfect place to relax!

The accommodation was very good, the grill is missing maintenance since it is quite rusty but beyond that everything is perfect.

The house was impeccable and very comfortable. We felt at home. The area was calm. It is well located, very close to Peniche and Lourinhã, where the places we wanted to visit were. The host was always available and responded very promptly to all questions. He also rewarded us with a delicious treat: a box of cakes. It was wonderful and I recommend it! When I want to come back to this area, I'll remember Moana House!

Great condo within walking distance of Los Tubos beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked and clothes washer worked well.

A very cozy and renovated house. Good location and nice views from the terrace. The experience has been very positive. There was only one day with an anecdote, and that was when we were at the beach one afternoon and when we returned, we hung our bathing suits and towels on the clothesline with clothespins. When we picked it up in the morning, we saw that my partner's bikini was missing... someone had taken it. The terrace can be accessed from the outside.

Thank you so much to Gabriela, Tereza and Friends! We had a wonderful stay!! The apt is so welcoming and very clean. The beds are extra comfortable with oversize pillows. The apt is situated in the corner with views of the ocean and the cliffs and big windows that open all the way as well as a patio to enjoy the scenery. The pool has views of the sea and was so comfortable and a great space for families to enjoy swimming. In walking distance are lovely restaurants and nearby is a beach restaurant. It’s a lovely space and we are grateful for the stay! Thank you for the hospitality!

Wal's team is very responsive and enjoyable. We had a great time . The village is well located and allows you to visit many sights around within a 2 hour drive. We also discovered beautiful beaches around Peniche.

The location was a perfect start for our explorations! Drivable to Narare, Cascais, Sintra and more. It was quiet, clean and exactly as described. Would stay again!

Cristina was amazing since day 1. She was pretty concerned about a storm coming to Portugal, which made us feel welcomed. The house is pretty much what you see in the photos. Super clean, full of amenities (pans, coffee maker, etc). It’s also a big place, so expect a huge place for your family, which is nice. Nothing but good words for our stay! Thanks, Cristina. We had a great stay in the old town in Peniche! The flat has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Julia was great with commuting and being flexible with check in and out. Would definitely come back!!

It was also great the second time. Nice little apartment with terrace. Joaquim is very friendly and helpful. Had me locked out (terrace door and entrance bag not left open, wind closed the door) Joaquim was quickly on hand and let me in. Thank you, anytime.

Kristof and Frederik are two very friendly and uncomplicated hosts and have furnished their apartment with a lot of taste, foresight and expertise. The high-quality mattresses, the external roller shutters and the technically flawless equipment are particularly noteworthy. Additional kitchen knives were delivered immediately. Even unusual amenities were thought of: dehumidifiers in the wardrobes, which can be very helpful in the humid sea climate, and a small selection of wines. Thank you so much for everything!

We enjoyed staying in this apartment and really appreciated how new and clean everything was. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom has a big closet and a super comfy bed. Communication with Katrien was great. We could even check in earlier and she was very helpful at all times. We would definitely recommend! Since it’s located in the old town and the streets are quite narrow, parking can be a bit tricky.

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!

Thais from Baleal holidays was an excellent host. She was extremely responsive, accommodating, and helpful. The place is stunning, exactly as described in the description and pictures. Very spacious and clean. We travelled with my husband and 4.5 month old baby and she provided excellent recommendations on activities and restaurants. The location is close to the beach and closer to some restaurants. The place is situated in a very local part of the town, with not a lot of tourists. If you’re looking for a quiet place away from the busy towns and tourists then this is a good place for you. You would need a car to get around. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and we look forward to coming back soon!
