We wanted the location and view. There was just two of us - so it was expensive but for a family- well worth it.

The photos can’t do it justice. Absolutely stunning, warm and inviting. Cozy and quiet and relaxing while still having comfortable amenities! Would LOVE to return during the winter! Walking down to the private beach area during sunset was magical.

This is a beautiful cabin on Hayden Lake with a rustic camp feel complete with modern amenities. We loved having the wood stove to warm up on the cool mornings. For those looking for a getaway in the wilds of Guysborough county, this is a great place to do it.

A luxurious home with everything you need, plus many extra amenities! The hot tub was wonderful after a day exploring all the local areas, which you are inspired to do after viewing the artwork throughout the house. The property has a private and unique setting beside a waterfall that is magical. We loved our stay here, and absolutely recommend Ocean View Estate.

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. The home was perfectly clean and comfortable. My fiancé and I enjoyed the outside patio as well as the hot tub to relax in the evening while it rained. It was like hot tubbing in a private garden oasis. All the little things you might need are provided like coffee/tea sugar and spices. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. Shampoo, conditioner and body washes provided were of excellent quality ! Would love to come back to this spot again.

I just wanna start with the word Awesome’. I just love the cottage. Photos cant describe the art of this cottage.. Its on the whole next level. A huge place on a private area where nobody can be seen and we enjoyed our trip without any single issue. The hosts were amazin so helpfull and even they give us another 2 hours to stay just for $36 includes taxes which is great and alot cheaper. I recmnd everyone to check out this cottage and definitly book this one.. especially for big families. Thankyou! You made our trip great!

Modern, stunning, private and spectacular! The views from this property will literally yake your heeath away! An oasis for anyone who appreciates innovative architecture, attention to design and private yet open industrial layout spaces in the most perfectly curated natural setting. All of this, while ALSO being lovingly lived in, well stocked and unpretentiously welcoming with every detail. Hands down, one of my favorite Air bnb stays...ever!!

We stayed for a weekend and it was WONDERFUL! The kitchen was gorgeous, the bathroom upstairs was so awesome. Loved the soaker tub and spa room. Parking was easy and everything was communicated very well. There was some work being done downstairs that got pretty loud at times but it was only for a few hours and in the middle of the day. The only thing I can think to improve of it adding blinds/curtains to the downstairs windows. The natural light was lovely but it would have been nice to have the option. Will absolutely book here again if we're in town.

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

Peaceful Country Cabins are just that. Very peaceful, lots of space, small cabins. They are exactly as described and pictured. Not fancy or large, but quaint and compact with everything you need for a lovely stay. The property is spacious and the hosts were very responsive and generous in providing information and cooking essentials we were lacking on a holiday when stores were closed. Ourselves and our dogs enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful updated older home, great for larger families/groups. Privacy is one of its biggest assets with lots on site to do, including pool and hot tub. Accessibility is tricky for older adults.

Nancy met us as we arrived and made us feel right at home. After showing us around and explaining how everything operates, we had complete privacy. We loved our stay. For Charlie, our dog, this was the highlight of the trip through Canada. He could run about freely and felt right at home on his bed in the yurt.

Staying at this place is a whole experience! First off the house is amazing, you can feel the work and love that was put into building it. Jayden was also really friendly and attentive when I had questions, and everything was very well labeled. It's the best place to unwind and connect with nature. Such an inspiring home and property! Wife and I were down for y-con as vendors. The cottage is a lovely, quiet home we both enjoyed after a long day. Andrew was quick to respond when we had questions. I highly recommend the cottage for those looking for a nice quiet getaway. We look forward to being back next year for the event again.

We had an incredible stay at this peaceful cabin in the woods. The location was private and serene, with a cozy wood stove that made the space feel extra welcoming. The trail down to the river was the perfect distance for a short walk, and we were amazed by how many fish we caught—it was a dream spot for anglers! Our two Lagotto Romagnolos had the time of their lives exploring the woods and are now happily exhausted. The cabin was dog-friendly and perfectly set up for a relaxing retreat. Liana was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. She made sure we had everything we needed and that we felt right at home. We’d absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back again!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this peaceful and charming cottage. The scenery was stunning both day and night — even more beautiful than the pictures! We loved being able to walk to the local beach, and the nearby town offered a great selection of restaurants. Sarah was the perfect host, checking in when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was exactly as described, but the view truly has to be experienced in person — it exceeded our expectations.

This is a lovely place to stay. Every amenity and a great restaurant and food truck on the premises. Lovely sunsets! And wonderful to be able to bring our dog, lots of space for walks. We will be back!

Our stay at Luke’s Lodge was the perfect getaway location perfectly nestled into Falls Lake NS we had everything needed from a cozy campfire area,hot tub soaks, a beautiful kitchen area and the cozy yellow couch we curled up in every evening! Super responsive hosts who are there if you need anything and perfect place for anyone who are pet owners to couples looking for a cozy getaway 10/10 would recommend !!!
