Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Atlantic Canada

Dish washer broke while we were there, but Chris said he was sorry. He couldn’t get someone to fix it in time when we were there. Not a big deal. But other than that, the place was perfect, great location, easy to walk to everything. Highly recommend

A quiet bungalow away from the tourist dense center of Bar Harbor and easily accessible to great food, hikes, and the park. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole place was thoughtfully decorated and appealing to all of us!

We had a great stay at Stan and Cynthia’s place! The basement suite was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Stan checked in with us regularly and responded quickly to any messages we sent. We would stay here again!

This is my second time staying and absolutely loved it just as much as the first time! The rental is absolutely beautiful, it was such a peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be booking again sometime in the future!

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location, and Angela is an excellent host! She was very responsive the entire time and made us feel very welcome and comfortable in her space. Next time we're in Halifax, we'll definitely book with Angela again!

I returned to Bar Harbor after 40 years. I camped the first time. This time, now older, I really appreciated fine accommodations near the center of Bar Harbor. I enjoyed walking, and not driving everywhere! The apartment was in immaculate condition. Brian communicated with me in a timely manner, along with giving tips and recommendations for hiking trails and other things to do in the area. The apartment was beautiful with incredible views. It was comfortable and clean, great location and safe, with easy access and great amenities. The bathroom was spacious and clean with great water pressure and perfect hot water. Bed was incredibly comfortable, climate control easy to use. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Halifax.

This is a magical location. Extremely private with terrific ocean front. A perfect view of Sea Wolf Island National Refuge. Lots of birds with eagles seen ever day. You'll have miles of beach to explore -never saw another person. The amenities are true luxury. Everything you would ever need to prepare meals was there. Andrew was a perfect host.

We had the best stay here! Not only is the place stunning, but Jessica is a phenomenal host. The beds are extremely comfy and everything was very clean. The swim spa & sauna are the highlight of the place. A perfect getaway for the weekend!

My husband & I stayed at this home for a week & enjoyed every moment we were there. It truly felt like home, so cozy & welcoming & the neighbourhood is lovely. And the view is more than amazing, it’s spectacular ! My husband especially loved the hot tub, which he utilized every day, sometimes twice. We also appreciated the location, as we felt it was pretty central to all of the places we wanted to visit. We can honestly say, if/when we return to St. John’s, we would, most definitely, want to stay here again ! We had a great week at Charissa’s place. Everything was as listed. Charissa has thought of everything you need to have a comfortable stay. This place is very large and allows for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We will stay here again, if we are ever in the area. Thanks Charissa for the plentiful fruit basket and delicious blueberry muffins. Such a nice breakfast treat!

We had a great stay - I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is a magical place to visit and it really felt like we had a home from home while here. It has everything you might want or need to make your stay convenient and comfortable. The bed was super comfy, the extra blankets to sit out, the patio, the sofa and smart tv all made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The location is central making it easy to get to the main spots. Thanks and we hope to get back one day!

Beautiful property in one of the best areas of the city. Just minutes from downtown and lots of trails nearby. The house is extremely well stocked with everything you need. It’s very clean and nicely decorated. We felt right at home. It has a fenced in backyard which is perfect for pets.The host and management company were very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.
