We pride ourselves in our cleanliness. Come stay on the banks of the Hocking in one of the most secluded place right in the city. Enjoy the best view in town and the easy access of the lower floor of The Mill House. Three large rooms with five, yes five! comfy beds a futon and a sofa bed. There are 2 large full bathrooms. This unit is on the ground floor. It is great for accessibility, however, there may noises of foot traffic of guests from the above units. Quiet hours are implemented for this.

Living room has queen sofa bed. Quaint small one bedroom home .Complete kitchen including microwave and Keurig machine . Pans and dishes also provided. Bedroom has queen size adjustable bed and TV. Large bathroom. Newly painted and carpeted, tile kitchen , bathroom. The house is located 5 minutes away from Athens and OHIO UNIVERSITY. It is 10 minutes from HOCKING COLLEGE and Rocky Boots in Nelsonville .Hunters are welcome. Ideal for Ohio University parents! Come and enjoy your stay!!

Quiet+private 2 bdrm cabin. Located just 5 miles from e. state st. and 7 miles to court st. Our cabin is furnished with 2 king beds, linens provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker and outside gas grille. The bathroom has a tub/shower and was recently renovated. Cabin has 2 porches that offer great country views. This is a convenient and comfortable, above garage apartment, within a mile or so from uptown Athens, just off of Richland Ave. Equipped with everything you might need, including wifi, full kitchen and bath, central heat, and A/C. and then some. Many updates have occurred since original listing, paired w lots of little changes, as a result of positive feedback. Please bare with me as it's a continual art in progress. We rented this place for graduation weekend. It is close to campus and easy to find. The house is extremely well stocked with kitchen stuff, extra towels and blankets and anything else you could think of. It is clean and well maintained. We had a rainy weekend so could not do outdoor stuff, but there is plenty of that to do at the house as well. I highly recommend renting this house to anyone visiting OU. We loved staying there!

My partner and I had a lovely time—we really enjoyed the space! It was so nice to get away and just focus on enjoying each other’s company. The whole experience was wonderful, and I especially loved the cozy cabin feel. Chad was incredibly helpful and very friendly, which made everything even better. Just a couple of small things to note: the toilet is a compost toilet, which took a minute to get used to—not a bad thing at all, just different. Also, the freezer was stocked with frozen meat, and we had brought our own frozen meals without checking first. It didn’t leave us much room to put stuff in there but It wasn’t a big deal though—we just ate ours frozen stuff first. All in all, I’ll 100% be back and absolutely recommend this place!

We stayed here as a stop on the way to Michigan, but I really wish we could have stayed longer! The house was beautiful and spacious, making it a super comfortable place for the six of us. The water pressure in the shower was great and we all enjoyed a great night of sleep. We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at Carol's place. It is a gorgeous, peaceful setting. The deck is spacious and nicely appointed with a table, chairs, shade umbrella and a grill. Inside was roomy, so we had enough area to spread out and not be on top of each other. The kitchen has everything you could need. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. The location is about 10 minutes into Athens, which is a pretty drive but make sure you're alert for a few winds in the road, especially after dark. Carol was really kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The Paw Paw place was the perfect place for me to stay during Mom’s weekend at OU. It is not far from town but extremely peaceful. Allison was very responsive and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting your son or daughter at OU or for a trip to Athens.

Hosts Brenda and Deborah were extremely warm, welcoming, and flexible! We were on a short trip for a graduation at Ohio University, about 12 minutes away. Due to delayed flights and 1.5 hour drive from Columbus Airport, we didn't arrive until 10:30pm, and Deb was waiting on the porch to greet us and get us settled. Very much appreciated! Communication was great, including directions (by phone) re: the country roads in the dark. The space is large, as described and seen in photos, sort of a "basement apartment" in a gorgeous area, very peaceful. The place and hosts are down-to-earth, as we had hoped, making our stay lovely and enjoyable. 😊 Thank you!
