We came to town to visit relatives and didn't spend much time at Gaurakisora's place except to sleep at night. We loved being able to park in the carport and the bedding in the master bedroom was divine. Also had no issue getting on wifi or television. Would come back here!

If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway then this is the place! The cottage itself was so welcoming and cozy. But being surrounded by nature made it even better. It’s exactly what we needed! We made so many memories in such a short amount of time! The hot tub was amazing to relax in! The beds were super comfortable for us! Everything was just perfect! When we come back down I definitely want to come back here! 😊

Spacious house! Lots of seating in living room. Well-equipped kitchen. Large deck with grill. Remote location, less than 15 minutes into town. Less than 5 minutes to walking trails around the lake. Greatly enjoyed our stay!

This place was perfect for Mom's weekend at OU. It was about a 10 minute drive to campus.

My brothers and I were in the area over Memorial weekend on our motorcycles to ride The Windy Nine motorcycle roads. This location was perfect, just outside of Athens but not too far. Quaint little cabin in the woods the also offered cover for our bikes to keep them from collecting morning dew. This small cottage offered everything we needed but bot too fancy. The only caution is finding the driveway on the initial arrival can be a bit tricky especially on motorcycles as the winding road that leads to the cottage is not too U-turn friendly for motorcycles. Overall, awesome place and we will be back!

We stayed here for our son's graduation from OU. The house was clean and well stocked, including spring water and coffee/creamers available. It was a quick ride back to campus. Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience.

My partner and I had a lovely time—we really enjoyed the space! It was so nice to get away and just focus on enjoying each other’s company. The whole experience was wonderful, and I especially loved the cozy cabin feel. Chad was incredibly helpful and very friendly, which made everything even better. Just a couple of small things to note: the toilet is a compost toilet, which took a minute to get used to—not a bad thing at all, just different. Also, the freezer was stocked with frozen meat, and we had brought our own frozen meals without checking first. It didn’t leave us much room to put stuff in there but It wasn’t a big deal though—we just ate ours frozen stuff first. All in all, I’ll 100% be back and absolutely recommend this place!

This house was in a quiet, peaceful location and it was the perfect size for our family getaway. Loved how close it was to OU! We are looking forward to our next stay!

Great location and very peaceful. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The pond is stocked. The keys would not work on any of the doors so a staff member came out and helped us get in. I would recommended sealing the deck since there are a lot of paint chips. We noticed there was a lot of dog hair under the sofas(we didn't have a dog).

We really enjoyed our stay here! The pool and hot tub were a huge bonus. The drive to most main hikes was between 25-30 minutes, so the location was ideal. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay with 4 adults (2 couples), 3 tweens and 1 senior. Everyone had plenty of space and the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check in/out is at another location about 15min away for the key, and there’s a nice little shop there too. Communication was easy to follow. Pool and hot tub were great activities, big private yard to run around and had a great bonfire for s’mores. We’re hoping to make this an annual family tradition!

Overall, this place was GREAT! There was plenty of space, and it was very peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We stayed as a group of 7 (my wife, our 3 kids, and 2 adult friends), and it never felt crowded. Pros: Spacious, private, a nice pond nearby, great pool and hot tub, and a comfortable patio area to hang out. Cons: The beds were a bit loud and on the less comfortable side—not a deal breaker, but worth noting. Also, the couch and chair were broken when we arrived. They probably just need an update, though they were still usable and fairly comfortable. Despite a few minor things, the overall experience was very positive. We'd definitely stay here again!

I have rented many modest cabins in Hocking Hills, and Fullbrooks stands out—everything we needed it to be. Great: well-appointed kitchen (sharp knives, sugar, salt/pepper); several outdoor spaces; super clean (including hot tub); clear stargazing (Milky Way); private (not secluded); comfy furniture throughout; extra towels, TP, paper towels, dish/hand soap; shocking lack of bugs*; dog-friendly (our big pup relished the free range—within easy view). Okay: 20-30 min drive to most HH attractions; patchy media (could connect phones to wifi, but even after resetting the router, couldn’t connect to Netflix/cast to TV from our phones); off-site check in/out added ~15 min x2 to our drive. Tips: Bring back-up matches for a fire and your own napkins. To those mindful of plastics/PFAS, the kitchen has only scratched up nonstick cookware; bring your own pot and pan, as well as a container to collect recyclables to take home. *1st Choice sprays for bugs, including bees. Poor pollinators. ☹

We (my 3 kids & I) had the pleasure of staying in the Skoolie this past weekend. It was so much fun. The location was perfect (imo) for our visit to the Hocking Hills area, where we completed the 8 hikes I was hoping to do. This Skoolie is the perfect experience for this area. We loved everything about it. My kids even played with the kids that lived around there. They had so much fun playing and meeting the neighbors and everyone was so nice! They didn't want to leave. We got neighbors in the rv that's right next to it at one point and they were such lovely people as well. Anyway, we loved it. I loved the large shower to get my kiddos clean after a long hike, and it is plenty of room for 4 people without feeling like you're in each other's space. If you're thinking about staying here, do it. It's like glamping, without all the hassles of camping. The hosts are lovely too which I appreciate the most.

We enjoyed our stay so much, very relaxing and quiet. Everything was just as described. We will for sure be back. Be sure to eat the ribs at the cafe inside Rocky Boots, it was great!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay we felt right at home here. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. House was in great condition. Alec answered every question we had within minutes.

Such a beautiful little get away! Maybe a better sign at the road? And instructions on how to navigate the 3 remotes for the TV, wi-fi password would be nice also. But, we had a great stay!

Cabin was beautiful and we all had a room to ourselves!!! A full bath upstairs and downstairs! Stalls were very close to cabin we could see our horses from cabin! Access to water super close also! You can head right out of barn and hit the trails! We ate at the restaurant and had drinks. Watched a band that was evening! Rode to moonville tunnel which was a nice ride.

Staying at this property was an absolutely amazing experience. Check in was hassle free, the place was very spacious and clean, and the hosts were so communicative. We were able to enjoy the outdoors and were close to a lot of different hiking trails.
