Great getaway! Went fishing by the bridge and watched our friends paddleboard on the lake from the hottub. Had a great time!

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

Amanda’s place was perfect for our girls’ weekend getaway. The peaceful location on the river was ideal and the house has so much space and is laid out well for a larger group. Lots of places you gather together or get away to a quiet spot on your own. The deck down by the water was such a nice spot to gather with coffee or cocktails. We’ll be back if Amanda will have us!

Loved this quaint little cottage right on the lake. The view from the desk made working a pleasure, and mornings spent outside with a coffee watching the birds were a highlight. Super cozy and well-equipped, with everything you need. The size is perfect for a couple or small family. Great location near Lakefield—peaceful and scenic.

This was my second stay at Stephen’s place and it did not disappoint yet again! This was the perfect cabin getaway, complete with a very clean, beautiful and cozy cottage paired with so much to enjoy outside and on the water. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay and how great of a host Stephen always is!! Would definitely recommend, and I look forward to another visit in the future!

Leah’s place was a dream! The pictures do not do justice to just how beautiful the property is! It was our first vacation with our 3 month old baby and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leah was extremely helpful, responsive and even though the guest house is right next to the main home, Leah was extremely respectful of our privacy and we felt right at home. The house itself was clean, with outstanding views from each window. We were welcomed by goose and swans and it was amazing. Leah has friendly cats who too came to say hello! The sunset is amazing from the property and I can for sure say that we will be back soon! Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences so far

There were only 3 of us so needless to say we had more than enough room. As a result we did not use the apartment over the garage.I really enjoyed the view from the dining area especially the early sunrises. I appreciated all of the utensils and condiments that we had access to. Much more than in other places I have rented. This is an indication of the attention to detail that Warren has. All in all a very enjoyable time.

We had a perfectly relaxing extended weekend. Spacious, clean and practically everything we needed including a fully supplied kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to play, and loads of firewood to make the space warm and cozy. Lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We enjoyed the view of the lake either on the decks or inside through the large windows. Heidi was very responsive to messages and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to coming back in the fall or winter months.

Robin’s cottage is by far one of my favorite places so far. They thought of everything. We spent a few days for a work retreat and had all we needed to make the week unforgettable. The views in the morning, the sunsets in the evening, fireplace right by the water, paddle boards, full kitchen… the list goes on. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. I am definitely going back!

Casey's home was beautiful and the effort they put into the small touches really shows.Everything was spotless when we got there and their instructions were clear and helpful. Their guide on things to do in the area were also great. We enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ, and the patio in equal measure and overall had an amazing time! Thank you Casey, we will be back!

"Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway", this is perfectly described by Ken. In fact he has put all true description on the listing. Ken and Wendy were very quick to respond our messages and calls. Even Ken came down when we called him at 11 night. The place is perfect especially for the family with kids as there are so many fun activities. It was very different experience staying at cottage so far and we loved it. The place deserves 5 stars, plus I will give additional stars to Ken & Wendy for their welcoming nature.

Another excellent week at McCracken's Landing. I couldn't say enough great things about how every single person working the cabins, restaurant, and store are all so friendly and truly care about the place and their guests. It's a slice of paradise!

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

We had a wonderful time there! There were many possible activities to do. We fully enjoyed the view, peacefulness and the numerous animals. The place was very well arranged, we almost felt at home.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. Fantastic stay! Clean, beautiful views, hot tub was amazing and fishing off the dock was pretty good. NOTE: Proximity to road was a bit of a thing for the sound. That being said it didn't diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Thank you again!

I spent my bachelorette weekend with three friends at Amanda and Josh’s cottage, and it was absolutely perfect. We were lucky with the weather and got to spend lots of time outside - playing badminton, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and soaking in the stunning view. The fire pit and fireplace table were such cozy touches, especially in the evenings. We made great use of the kitchen and loved lounging in the den. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!
