Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

Gorgeous home, private parking and stunning views

Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

The Black Dog cottage is a charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property located in a quiet rural setting two doors down from the Black Dog Inn, outside the town of Dalton in Furness in the Cumbrian countryside. In 2021 the cottage was renovated creating open plan living on the ground floor, a double and single bedroom on the first with family bathroom and a master suite on the second, complete with ensuite. Off road parking is available at the front of the cottage and wifi available throughout.

What a beautiful property! Was a real home from home. Kitchen better equipped and higher spec than my kitchen at home. 😊 Everything worked and all beds were comfortable and of high quality. View from outside space lovely and can be viewed from comfortable chairs in the living room with double doors open, so fantastic on a chilly night. Best location for us, as nothing to block our view and away from any busy noise but only a short walk to water sports. Thank you so much for your attention to detail, so nice to have a host that wants to provide such high standards in rented accommodation!

Brocklebank is an amazing place to stay. It’s very stylish and clean, it looks just like the photos and the location speaks for itself! For the two nights we stayed there the weather was unfortunately too wild for us to spend time on the deck or with the bifold doors open (we’ll just have to stay another time 😉). The beach cafe breakfasts and quiches are top nosh! Do not miss it! Thank you Gary for an amazing stay and for the very kind birthday card and bottle of bubbly ☺️

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this lovely countryside retreat. The surrounds were beautiful and so peaceful. There's plenty to do around the local area. A lovely beach not even 10 minutes away, lake windermere half an hour up the road and the aquarium just down the road from that. The rooms were lovely and clean and had plenty of space for the 5 of us ( 2 adults 2 children and the dog) Kelly was really helpful with any questions I had and even suggested local places to visit even before we booked. Would definitely stay here again. If you want peace and quiet but still a stones throw away for fun days out this is definitely the place to book.

The lodge is exactly as described. Lots of facilities in the kitchen. The outside furniture was ideal for sitting outside on for a BBQ. In a great location for the beach and local ski bar where we went for lunch. Would definitely stay again.
