You can access the basement through a private entrance. Kitchen has a toaster oven, hot plate and microwave. Refrigerator for your food. Wood-burning sauna is also available. We need a few hours notice if you would like to use it—heats up slower in the winter. Just a quick 25-30 min drive from Downtown Grand Rapids, close to Hwy 131.

Quiet East Muskegon home in the woods

This is our personal home that we don't live in from spring to early fall. Its a quiet area back in the woods on a little creek. Perfect for bonfires, walks in the woods, or just a place to rest. Sitting back about a half mile off the road about the noise you'll hear at night is maybe the wolves howling at the near by wolf sanctuary. We are only a 15 minute drive to anywhere in Muskegon. We also can set up a private boat tour for up to 8 of Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan for $100/2 hrs

Ice fishing, local snowmobile trails & beautiful sunsets.

Devil's Hole Cottage - on the Muskegon River

Welcome to our cottage! We are located directly on the Muskegon River in Newaygo Michigan. The Muskegon River is known for its great fishing. You can fish right out front of the cottage or bring your own river boat and keep it at our dock. Kayak and tube rentals are available in town. Enjoy the intimate feel of the cottage with cozy rooms and a fully stocked kitchen for you to enjoy eating in. Downtown Newaygo has many restaurants and shopping if you want to venture out.

Picturesque and cozy cabin on Ryerson Lake channel

Relax listening to the water flow over the dam or bring your fishing poles and fish right off the deck and at the dam, next to the cabin! Bring your kayaks and venture down the channel to the lake. Sip coffee in the morning right on the deck and enjoy the private view. The cabin has a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. This cabin is great for a family with two children, or a couple looking for a quiet get away!

Unlimited firewood for on-site use during your stay.

The cottage is on the Cove at Brook's Lake, an all sports lake, with the dock accessible to pontoon boats. It's small - 675 square feet - perfect for a couple or small family. Note there are many steps to bring you down to the house at water's edge.
