Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

The house was great for our family stay. Lots of space, all on one level, and beautiful outdoor space. We travelled with our kids and they had a great time in the pool :) Note there is extra cost if you want the pool to be heated. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

The Treehouse was a perfect getaway for a family of 8 adults and one child. Surroundings were beautiful. Nature was plentiful. The place had great amenities, kitchen well stocked, and the pool and hot tub one of a kind of !! We all had a great stay !!!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay in Oakland! The space was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for everything we needed. A bit hilly for parking and driving up if you are not used to it. The host was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Taylor’s place was exactly as the pictures show. It was such a cute place and the bed was extra comfortable. She was very responsive and extremely helpful. My son really enjoyed his stay. Will book again.

George did a wonderful job as a host communicating and responding. We had a great stay at his place. The location was really good with lots of stuff nearby. Would stay again! Rare to find a home with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms at such an excellent price!

Had a great stay in Oakland at this place. It was easy to check-in, very clean, and the host was very responsive. They left me a thank-you note which was a nice surprise. Would recommend to others for families, but don’t book if you want somewhere to party. The neighborhood was quiet and had beautiful views of the bay. Overall great!

We are in the process of selling our home and moving to the East coast and have had several fantastic stays at Will's place over the course of the last 3 months. This home is a beautiful private retreat in the middle of Bollinger Canyon. You'll experience a complete getaway and immersion in nature. Will is a fantastic and responsive host, taking care of us in many lovely ways throughout our stay. We will be back!

My family was in town and I just didn't have enough space so I found this to be perfect for them. This big clean house gave everybody a place to rest, tho it was also easy to just gather around the large dining room table. (almost too tempting because we also wanted to respect the quiet neighborhood after 10:00 p.m.) House is filled with character, like original tile. very cool traditional/vintage vibes. An early 20th century home appointed with modern furnishings. lovely view. supplies, condiments and utensils. 4 bedrooms are upstairs. Hosts were very clear with instructions and helpful on arrival!

Athena was a great host! loved the location, walkable to their downtown. Will most definitely be back.

This is a tastefully updated classic craftsman style home. The home was immaculate and exactly as described. We appreciated the snacks provided by our host. The neighborhood is safe and lovely with Victorian or craftsmen homes throughout the area. We were really delighted to find that we had parking in the driveway. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. Christine was very responsive and clearly communicated expectations. I suggest bringing warm slippers this is a no shoes place and the floors can be quite cold. We found great restaurants nearby and would definitely rebook this place.

Michelle was fantastic. The location was very quiet and peaceful. Michelle’s communication, kindness and attentiveness was apparent. We will absolutely be returning when in Oakland. The home was beautiful, beds were extremely comfortable and hospitality was amazing.

This a great spot to stay with family and friends when visiting the Bay Area. The location is perfect especially close to Oakland airport and anything Oakland. Street parking is super easy and available. Super chill, safe, vibrant neighborhood with plenty of good eats, drinks and beaches to explore down the street in Alameda. House is a perfect place to relax and totally private would definitely stay again.

Safe quiet location close to main Oakland areas. Michelle is a very responsive helpful host. The place itself is very quaint and cozy with everything a guest would need/want. Loved the patio and cherry plum tree in the back!
