A light and airy wooden chalet accessed by a path through a fully fenced orchard with seating and a fire pit ideal for catching the last of the evening sun. Dogs are welcome and can be walked within the 8 acres of farmland which extends to the Eastern River Yar and includes a wildlife pond. The chalet is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a Red Squirrel. 5 Pygmy goats in Sue’s garden next door are sure to amuse you.

Wonderful host, beautiful house. Everything as described and more-all the little extras that make it special were very much appreciated. Clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Nothing was too much trouble for Alison and she was very welcoming. Accommodation was perfectly located for our stay and we will definitely return. Such a lovely place to stay. We used the bedroom and sofa bed and it was all very easy to use, set up etc and plenty of space for us. Everything you need for a relaxing break in one place

Rachel is a welcoming and friendly host who takes care to make sure you enjoy your stay in her home. The sunny bed + shower room has separate entrance to the main house, through a lockable side gate, making it private & I felt safe. Off road parking for 1 car but I was on foot. Bus stop is a few yards from the house & convenient for travelling to Ventnor (nearest seaside town, 20+ min by bus) & the round Island 'Breezer' also stops there. Rachel had left fresh milk in the fridge & biscuits, along with lots of little extra's-first aid kit, hairdryer, eating utensils. The shop next door is handy for buying food for breakfast & evening meals that you can cook in a microwave or toaster. Niton lies in a valley & is busy with through traffic. It has a pub, cafe and No7 bar (which is also the post office) that sells lovely pizzas. Minutes from the door are public footpaths that lead to the surrounding spectacular countryside & coastal paths, but be prepared to climb for a while for sea views.

I spent about a week around England, and this was my favorite stay! The grounds were so magical to explore, there's friendly dogs, stunning gardens, a cozy hot tub... all nestled against a gorgeous historic manor! I would return to the Isle of Wight just to stay here again. :) Instructions for finding the location and checking in are rather confusing, but the host is very responsive to message and call if you get lost.

Bede was a superhost, very friendly and extremely helpful. Bede's place was lovely, just like the photos...... perfect. Everything was clean, spotless and absolutely very well organised to the T. Really enjoyed the stay, will highly recommend.
