Embedded in the Agulhas National Park and surrounded by the Agulhas Rest Camp, Dune Mist Cottage is located 4km from the Southernmost point of Africa in the village of Suiderstrand. Here one can experience the peace, quiet and the wildness of Africa's Southernmost Tip. A number of walks along wild beaches and fossilised landscapes start here. 2km from the fish traps made by old Hunter Gatherer Cultures , 3km from a shipwreck, 5km from the lighthouse. Enjoy our Duneveld Fynbos and bird life.

Lovely quaint harbour, normally a hive of activity in summer. The Southern most point of the African continent is only 7 km away at Cape Augulhas with the iconic lighthouse worth a visit. Our area is rich in history with wine farms to visit & beautiful yellow Canola fields late winter early spring.

This apartment is new and has breathtaking views. It offers luxury accommodation in a peaceful and private setting. It is within a short walking distance from the beachfront and restaurants and the entrance to the park and the lighthouse. The Southernmost point is also within walking distance along a beautiful coastal boardwalk. The point is about a 30 min walk from the flat. Else you can drive to the point by car (7 minutes).

The Gray House

This is a relaxed beach house that is spacious and comfortable and works well for multiple family holidays. The house is owned by artist Sue Gray, and showcases her love for beautiful objects and junk shop finds! You will be well looked after by Host Jan Wares (based in Cape Town) and Linda the full time housekeeper.

At Patat cottage is situated within Langezandt Fisherman's Village in Struisbaai. It is a relaxing 2-hour drive from Cape Town, through the Cape Overberg region. This cottage is nearby Cape Agulhas, the southermost tip of Africa. A visit to the charming fishing village of Struisbaai is highly recommended.
