Perfect cabin for a trip to Iceland! It was small but that's what we were expecting from the description, and the space was enough for our needs. The host was very quick to respond anytime we had a question. Would definitely recommend!

We loved the cabin- very peaceful, super well equipped, fantastic hot tub. It was a great base for all the Goldeb Circle highlights. Kristinn was a helpful and responsive host. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely!! The house is so precious and clearly very loved. The interior was homey and cozy and the location was beautiful. My friend and I were able to drive to tons of amazing natural wonders with ease. The farther away spots were also worth it as the drive was beautiful. The amenities are exactly as promised and the beds were amazing to come back to after a long day. Would definitely stay again! It was a little hard to find the first time, since it was dark out, but in the light and getting familiar with the area, it was easy to find :) Lovely hosts and lovely home!!

We had a wonderful stay at the summer house, enjoyed the well-equipped house and the beautiful surroundings. The evening we arrived, there was a storm and we could enter a cozy and warmed-up cabin with all amenities. Rikke provided helpful instructions on the house and interesting information on the area, so that we could easily find things to do and to see. Snæfjellsnes really is a pearl with many landscape highlights in a relatively small area and Arnarstapi is the perfect base for adventure and calm and peace. Aside the obvious stops such as vulcano landscape, bird cliffs and lighthouses, there are great opportunities to visit a lava tube (Vatnahellir), bird watching (Stykkisholmur), and to go horse back riding (Lysuholl). We were there only for 3 nights, but one can easily spend more time there. I wholeheartedly recommend both Rikke's summer house and the area!

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is so beautiful - we loved walking along the beach and taking in the views. Watching the seal in the water, the birds and all of the little sea creatures at low tide was a treat. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and was well-stocked. The beds were comfortable as well. We loved relaxing in the hot pot in the evenings while enjoying the view and listening to the birds! The area is amazingly beautiful. We loved to drive around the fjord - and even spotted a whale 2 different times! The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They were very responsive and helpful with the couple of questions that we had. I highly recommend staying here!

This is such a beautiful place to stay. It has everything you need at the cabin and more. It is warm and cosy and such a relaxing place to come back to after full days out exploring Iceland. Alfa and Finnur were very helpful with quick responses to any questions we had as well as useful pre holiday advice. The beds were comfy and the cabin and clean and tidy inside and out. The decking area was a lovely place to sit and relax and listen to the birds. We will be recommending to friends and family

Great place in a wonderful location. while secluded it also has good access to the main highway for destinations east or west on the golden circle. Well constructed modern homes which are very comfortable.

Amazing location, beautiful, elegant, cozy, warm cottage with magical nature all around. We had a restful, regenerative vacation, truly enjoyed the lovely hot tub and the wonderful cottage. Quiet (except for many lovely birds, that were such a joy to watch) and remote, yet perfect for trips to many amazing sights. Linda is a generous and kind host, who answers messages immediately and is always helpful when there is a question. We look forward to coming again hopefully soon! Thank you so much, dear Linda! :)

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Ładna przytulna chatka w pięknej okolicy. W kuchni wszystko czego potrzeba, nawet mikser. schody wejściowe na poddasze dosyć strome. Ilość ciepłej wody jest ograniczona, ale nam wystarczyło na 5 osób. Ogólnie polecam, dobra cena!

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

Een heerlijke week overnacht in het huisje en getourt door de Golden Circle. 3x het noorderlicht gezien door weinig lichtvervuiling in de buurt! Fijn dat er vloerverwarming aanwezig was om het huisje op temperatuur te houden.

One of our memorable accommodation is this one with its very lovely cabin inside and out. It’s so cozy we dont want to leave! Everything we need is right there and it’s spotless. We learned of the story of the cabin and it became a more special stay. Thank you for allowing us to arrive early and all the suggestions we can do around the area. It was easy communicating with you and we had a fantastic stay!

Maria's cabin is out of the way on a small lake. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin had all the necessities and comfortable beds. One bedroom was on the small side, but the main bedroom was large. The only issue was a difference in how America and Icelandic people make their number 1's. I thought the Wi-Fi code had a 7 in it but it was a 1. After I figured that out, the Wi-Fi worked great. :-)

Over the top effort to make the home lovely, comfortable, and packed with every imaginable kitchen appliance, cooking utensil, pots & pans, and dinnerware, Netflix, Prime video and much more.

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

Wir haben die Unterkunft geliebt! die großen Fenster, der Tolle Blick in die Ferne. Man merkt dass jemand Freude am Dekorieren hat. Das Haus ist sehr "Aurora-Freundlich", alles Licht draußen kann ausgeschaltet werden. Wir würden sofort wieder dieses Haus mieten wenn wir in der Gegend sind!

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

A great log cabin in the middle of nowhere with an excellent hot tub. We only stayed for a night and loved how well the space was used inside the cabin with all possible amenities catered to. Sadly, we didn't see the Northern lights when we were there but would come back again at the next chance.

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

Arni’s cottage was absolutely beautiful and the scenery was amazing - we were even lucky enough to see the northern lights from the cabin which was an unforgettable experience! Arni’s instructions were super clear and helpful, thanks for having us!

Hildur's cottage was so lovely! I stayed one night at the cottage and wished I stayed longer. From the moment I entered the cottage, I was in awe at how cute and cozy it was. The cottage is perfectly decorated and has all the amenities that you will need. Highly recommend booking this cottage, you won't regret it.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and out in the country. This was the perfect place for us. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hottub and we're also able to view the Northern Lights on a few nights. The amenities inside were perfect and just what we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the shower being outside in a separate building, at first, but the water was hot and the pressure was excellent. Our stay was perfect and the communication with Vidar was top notch. Such a beautiful place.
