Dunfanaghy - Sea Views- in village - parking

EimearRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had an amazing January retreat in this beautiful home. We were anxious about travelling in the storm but Gillian went out of her way to try to help and accommodate us. The views from the house are spectacular, especially with the fire on in the stormy weather. The ultimate cosy experience and we will definitely be back.

The views from the rooms are stunning. The house is perched on a hill. All mod cons are provided and we had a lovely stay there for the weekend. Close to fabulous beaches and mountains a perfect place to explore north Donegal

Ards Forest Cottage

JamieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wonderful place for a reunion or family gathering. Our group of 8 adults and 3 children found it to be a great size, with a comfortable lounge and good kitchen for the number of people. The views are fantastic and outside the picnic table and bench seats by the front door are enough to let the group sit together while enjoying those views. You don't get a house like this in the middle of a town but it wasn't much more than 5 minutes drive to Creeslough or 10 mins to Dunfanagy. We really enjoyed our days exploring the areas and beaches and evenings back at the house.

Beach Loft Buncrana

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had a lovely weekend stay, place was very peaceful and about a 20 min walk into Buncrana along a seaside path. Fantastic views of beach and sea. Karen, Gerry and their daughter Sylvia were very helpful and welcoming, with a wee hamper of foodstuff provided which was a lovely touch.

The Old Bank House

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rented both the upper and lower apartments. The upper has a really spacious kitchen and living areas. Much smaller in lower. Both have bedrooms on the street side so if youre a light sleeper bring earplugs if youre renting in season. Location could not be better for us. In the heart of all Dunfanaghy has to offer for pubs, shops, and restaurants. No trouble finding parking on the street. Comforting to have the surf shop staff available had a problem arisen (which it didnt). Both the bunk room above and twin room below would do well for children but would be definitely cramped for 2 full size men.

Donegal Walking, Cycling & Golf. Family, Sleeps 12

MartinaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I booked Deirdre's place as a getaway for my family when I was back in Ireland this summer. It is in a part of Donegal that is familiar to me and is so beautiful. The house was extremely clean, very homely and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and bright and no shortage of beds, blankets, duvets, towels for all of us. We were a family group of 12, mix of adults and children. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials needed plus extras like an air fryer, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The two full bathrooms were clean and perfect for us. The outside of the house is private, away from the road and great for the kids to play. The recommendations of places to go and what to do from Deirdre, were brilliant and we visited many of them on our stay there. There was no Wi-Fi and I did not mind that. We played games, quizzes, talent show and charades and didn't even miss it. I would definitely recommend Deirdre's place and would absolutely return there.

Cabin in Donegal views of Irish style stonewall

AgataRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Great stay. If you are looking for a place where you can watch hares and cows in the morning, you have come to the right place. In addition, the stone walls and ruins of the building make the imagination start working. The atmosphere of the place allows you to go back in time and you can imagine how centuries before you someone else sat on a stone bench built into the wall and admired the sunset. Perfect location for someone who needs to meet themselves again
