Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Arco da Calheta

Wir haben 5 wunderbare Tage in der Ferienwohnung in Paul do Mar, Madeira, verbracht und könnten nicht zufriedener sein. Die Unterkunft war perfekt ausgestattet, sauber und bot einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der hauseigenen Konditorei – jedes Gebäck und jede Süßspeise war ein wahrer Genuss! Der Geschmack und die Qualität waren absolut erstklassig. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung jedem empfehlen, der Erholung und kulinarische Highlights sucht. Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderbar! Die Unterkunft war perfekt – wir hatten sogar einen eigenen Parkplatz, was die Anreise und den Alltag sehr entspannt gemacht hat. Das kleine Gym war ein toller Bonus, um auch unterwegs aktiv zu bleiben. Besonders praktisch war auch der Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe – ideal für den täglichen Bedarf. Die Stadt war schnell und unkompliziert zu erreichen, sodass wir jederzeit spontan losziehen konnten. Ein echtes Highlight waren die traumhaften Sonnenuntergänge, die wir jeden Abend genießen durften. Vielen Dank an das Guest Ready Team – wir kommen gerne wieder!

The apartment was just amazing ,we had 6 adults staying in the apartment and it was so spacious ,3 large bedrooms ,2 with en-suites and another bathroom located right next to the 3rd bedroom,location was great ,with a lovely sea view from the balcony and close to restaurants and a large supermarket. The apartment had everything we needed. including a washing machine and tumble dryer. My son made use of the gym and we enjoyed using the pool. Jordão and Claudia were easy to contact and responded immediately, gave us clear instructions for checking in and checking out . We used the Bolt app to get taxis to travel around which we found excellent and reasonably priced. There is a parking garage under the apartments where you can park a car if you choose to do a rental car . although we didn’t have a car ,we found walking through the parking garage a great way to avoid the steep hill. we will definitely hire the apartment again when visiting the beautiful maderia island . It's the small things that make a place great. Nice towels, good cutlery, new kitchenware, all very nice and peasant)) Sea view from the balcony, close to supermarkets and car rentals. Just generally a nice place

Het appartement voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. Meubilair goed, bedden goed. Bedlinnen ook prima. Handdoeken en wc papier ruim aanwezig. We konden de auto parkeren in de garage onder het gebouw. De parkeerplek is erg krap maar parkeren op straat is eigenlijk niet mogelijk dus wel een aanrader ondanks de krapte. Wij hadden een seat Ibiza met aan elke kant nog een centimeter of 2 ruimte. De koffiezetter begaf het maar binnen een half uur kregen we een nieuwe, echt toppie. Restaurants een 100 meter lopen en een leuk haventje, supermarkt ook een 150 meter dus lekker dichtbij. We hebben genoten!

Tolles Apartment. Schöner als auf den Bildern. Waschmaschine, Waschmittel, Bügeleisen, Fön... alles vorhanden. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, man kann den Sonnenuntergang im Meer sehen. 2 Bäder, 3 Toiletten, großes Wohnzimmer mit Küche. Alles wunderbar. Tiefgarage mit 2 Stellplätzen. Supermarkt nur 3 min. zu Fuß entfernt, Bushaltestelle ist gleich vor der Tür. Die 3 Pools sind einfach herrlich. Mark war immer zu erreichen. Sehr netter Kontakt, unklomplizierte Übergabe. Immer wieder gern. Danke noch ienmal für alles.

Ak máte radi mestský komfort v úplne novej nehnuteľnosti s krásnym výhľadom na oceán, tak toto je výborné miesto. Super východisko pre výlety do iných končín ostrova. Bezpečné parkovanie v podzemnej garáži na vlastných parkovacích miestach. Veľký apartmán, vkusne až luxusne zariadený v stráženom areáli apartmánových domov. Podľa mňa pohodlne ubytuje až 6 hostí - každá izba má vlastnú kúpeľňu s toaletou. Máte prístup do relaxačnej zóny v záhrade apartmánového domu, kde je bazén s výhľadom na oceán, lehátka, fitness. Pár metrov od domu sa nachádza všetko podstatné vybavenie - veľký supermarket, obchody, kaviareň s pekárňou... Hostiteľ reagoval na našu komunikáciu extrémne rýchlo, slušne a priateľsky. Všetko fungovalo. Bol ochotný vyjsť v ústrety našim požiadavkám ohľadom času príchodu a odchodu aj mimo rámec oficiálnych časov. Celkovo veľmi príjemný pobyt v excelentnom apartmáne s profesionálne komunikujúcim a ochotným hostiteľom. Ďakujeme a tešíme sa niekedy nabudúce!

This location is perfect - the balcony provides are a picture-perfect view of the bay, along with spectacular sunset views. The accommodations are clean with a very nice layout. The kitchen is well-equipped - just like home. There is everything you need within walking distance - restaurants, shops, ATMs, bakeries and easy access to the local seaside promenade.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Kommunikation mit Maria war von Anfang an hervorragend – sie war immer schnell erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war sauber, gut ausgestattet und genau wie in der Beschreibung. Ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt und kann diese Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen!

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. The best host I have ever stayed with through airbnb. Lionel and Carla are super, super hosts!! The property is immaculate, very spacious and on a superbly situated development. The beds were super comfy, great black out blinds too. There are many fabulous local restaurants nearby or you can easily hop onto a bus just outside of the apartment block to Funchal. Lionel and Carla really go the extra mile! If you require any help or information the response time is immediate! Thank you for making our stay in Maderia so perfect! We will be back!

Lovely clean and functional apartment. Really relaxing within easy reach of supermarkets, shopping centres and restaurants. I was mountain biking and there were no issues with my bike being in the lifts or anything (maybe a few funny looks) but all in all a good place and close to a fabulous coffee shop.

Venho comunicar sobre minha estadia no apartamento da Anastasia. Foi totalmente maravilhoso do início da reserva até o dia do meu check-in. O apartamento totalmente equipado para seus dias de férias, tudo limpo e organizado faço acesso a praias, restaurantes. Me senti em casa pois o conforto do apartamento é espetacular fora a vista que ele oferece é magnífica! Só um detalhe a passar, quem gosta de silêncio e acordar tarde. Pois já pela manhã o movimento de carros e pessoas se ouve tudo mas para mim não fez diferença. EU AMEI MEUS DIAS FÉRIAS NESSA ILHA PERFEITA E MINHA ESTÁDIA NO APARTAMENTO. Recomendo muito!

The apartment was great. A lovely designed living-room and a big balcony with an awesome ocean-few. The village is a good spot to calm down after some island adventures, with a lot of offers like spa and something like that. Can fully recommend the apartment for a stay at Madeira. Definitely will come back soon.

I stayed for 3 nights with my friend for the second leg of our 6 days trip. The town centre location is super convenient. The apartment felt spacious for two of us. It was super clean and well equipped. WiFi worked well without any complications. Shower had good water pressure. We both had peaceful nights, I wasn't aware of any outside noises. There is a plaza with a big food supermarket just 2 minutes away which is open till 10pm most of the time. Adriana, the host, was very helpful, she let us check in much earlier and check out much later than advertised. We didn't meet her in person, but it was clear through the messages that she's a very friendly and helpful host. I would be more than happy to stay there again.

Katharina was an excellent host. While the house was close to downtown and had all the amenities we needed, what we like even more was how incredibly responsive she was to our messages and how accommodating and understanding she is. When we had to do a late checkout she accommodated us which was very helpful for us. I would strongly recommend any property hosted by Katharina.

Prachtige plek, mooi uitzicht, fijn zwembad. Heerlijke villa die voor 8 personen lekker ruim is. Eigen parkeergelegenheid (voor twee auto’s) is ook handig. Wij hebben met z’n achten genoten van ons verblijf! Enige opmerking die ik zou kunnen geven is dat de poolboy/klusjesman een beetje beter zou kunnen communiceren.. hij loopt zomaar in en uit, dat voelt niet fijn.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Haus. Und wieder wollten wir nicht mehr fahren. Die Betten sind bequem, die Küche gut ausgestattet und der Blick ist unbezahlbar. Pool und Whirlpool sind fantastisch. Carla ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Sie ist immer erreichbar und als die Poolheizung einmal ausfiel, war sie sofort da und alles wurde repariert. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Very clean, comfortable and modern villa. Lots of parking spaces, gym, large terraces, lots of bathrooms, beautiful spacious bedrooms, modern and brand new appliances, dishes and other equipment. During our stay, we had only one request - to provide us with a barbecue grill. The owner bought a brand new grill within 8 hours. Everything was very good. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Madeira. We recommend this accommodation to everyone!!!

An exceptional place! A beautiful villa in a peaceful and comfortable setting. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the pool is lovely, and the house is fully equipped with everything you might need. Truly one of the best places for a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend it!

Had a wonderful time in Madeira. The location is perfect, with amazing views and plenty of outside space to relax and hang out by the pool. The host was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We have not coomplaints.

We had a great stay with Julio as our host. He communicated very well. The location was incredible and the space was clean. The internet connection was not very strong, but this was not a big deal as we spent most time exploring the island. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This villa was a dream — clean, cozy, and with amazing views of the ocean and mountains. We loved the peaceful location and the sunrise from the terrace was unforgettable. The host was kind and helpful, making our stay effortless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Madeira!
